This was the final Animation of bad apple
The animation was mainly done by r/osuplace, r/touhou, r/hatsune there are more communities that helped!
this was coordinated by a Overlay made by the Architects at r/osuplace where they spent insane amounts of time creating a overlay that updated every frame along with getting the right version and the pacing right
this was so well done and it was only possible because of them

@@_sprook_ there's a loophole, if it can produce one color and it can control what part of it lights up, you can produce bad apple by not lighting up one of the colors you would need giving the illusion of two separate colors

@@cosmicbeesechurger5907 It was planned and a group of people were coordinating it through discord and the use of a template. I forget the exact time frame, but essentially around every 20 seconds we would need to change the frame. Most frame changes were very minor, but since there was a 5 minute cooldown to change a pixel it still needed a large group of people. When it came to the yin yang and a couple other parts, the change per frame was significantly more. I forget the exact number again, but imagine ~50 pixel changes per frame. To do it we enlisted the help of many other communities as mentioned by the comment above

Thank you for a good quality version of the animation, also thanks to everyone that helped with the animation especially every community that came together to help us create the ending, we couldn't have done it without you! Also I want to thank the osu!place and touhou staff for coordinating and making this possible. It was a fun time animating this and hanging out in Ed's chat and I hope we can do another collab next time place or some other event happens.

3:32 this is the best part imo, the amount of coordination it took to get the ying yang spin was crazy, since the pixels change so fast. I'm part of osu place, and I remember many pings going out telling people to get on, as this was easily the most intense part of the animation Also, I love that you can see the improvement over time. At the start, it's a bit choppy, but by the middle/end, it is insanely smooth

I love how in the beginning at 0:16 you can really see where they struggled with the sudden color changes but as the animation traction continued and more people chipped in, the color changes got so much faster. (2:00)

I placed a few pixels in this animation cuz it was my highlight of the event. From the Puyo/Tetris community, we thank you for this effort. Also our poor Tetris logo with a planned Puyo build was very much disrupted by the bots who built the building and the Morocco flag. I was very bitter about that.

it's pretty cool to notice how at first there's fewer people contributing so big changes get very blurry and later on so many more people are doing it so it becomes really smooth even when there's a color flip

I'm glad that this awesome show of colective effort reached its intended objective. I helped in the defense of this animation, one pixel at a time even when no one asked me to do that and wasn't part of it. A total random who knew what to do when he saw it.
