CRT is a top down movement. I don't like being told how to act by a bunch of elites who feel guilty about their status. I am proud of who I am will never stop loving myself as a human being.
It’s so difficult to see this the last many years. I always helped and worked in the school. In the 80s -2008 never seen a problem. So sad. Time to stand up for children. Grandchildren. Ridiculous whats happening. Let children be children. Enough
She comes across as a lovely, extremely well-spoken and intelligent woman. When she spoke about the industry that's developed behind it, that was the last piece of the puzzle in my mind. Despite hearing a bit about critical race theory etc. I still didn't fully understand why the ideology has grown with the ferocity it has. But that explains a lot. And she's right that if more people just used simple common sense as a shorthand way of assessing the impact this is having, we'd be in a better position. Also, it's always easier to identify with someone who isn't overtly politically conservative who sees this stuff for what it is. That's not a criticism of conservatives. But they're easier for a naysayer to dismiss (ie. "of course they're anti-woke, they're a fascist...")
I don’t have children and use to think todays schools and education wasn’t my problem. But, it does affect everyone. The kids our are future teachers, U.S. presidents, members of congress and business owners. Everyone needs to let schools know they need to stop teaching children what to think and teach them how to think.
What a wonderful and meaningful interview! I love the highly interesting and anti-woke content and it's so nice to see more people waking up from the cult
What an interesting channel, and what an interesting interview. The idea of fighting against racism is good, but CRT and identity politics aren’t the answer. In my view they make race relations worse by creating a blame culture. We should instead encourage people to believe in themselves, and to work to succeed despite any obstacles.
I teach at a midwest university and much of my research focuses on CRT and related CT ideologies. SHE IS 100% CORRECT. Please listen to her and take her seriously. She didn't even go into the political policies that Kendi espouses.
I'm glad I identify as an alien from the Barnard star. I could possibly be accused of being racist, but it's not my race. If anything I might be behaving speciesist. Just proclaim your unique preferred species identifier.
A wonderful interview. Asra is a beautiful woman she elucidated what is going on CRT very well. I am new to all this stuff. Believe you me this appears to be happening in my country Australia. You know if I had to choose between QAnon and Wokism I pick QAnon and that is saying because I have always had a dislike for Conspiracy Theories putting it mildly. The craziness from the right like QAnon is perceivable. It's in your face. The craziness from the left is insidious harder to pick. Thank you very much
I read your article on unherd. You're the only non-Hindu to call out the recent Hindu attacks on the media by calling every Hindu not towing the line as hindu-nationalist.
Hahaha. Try reading or listening. I made it clear I had debilitating back pain and could only lie down during those years of horrible pain, but you do you, buddy.
@@thesignalproductions From what I understand, she is culturally Muslim only. Kind of how many fairly liberal conservatives see themselves nowadays it e.g. Steven Crowder saying he is a Christian culturally. Didn't know about Asra until recently, but I like what I am seeing so far.
If you had actually bothered to listen to her, you might have learned a bit about her as a person instead of your little stereotype. I’m an atheist and I’d rather have her as a neighbor than you.
