I love how they made the assasins in the older trailers terrifying and mysterious by the fact that you couldnt see their eyes and the kills were brutal as hell.
Fake ac fans here I see origins was about the birth of assassins and odyssey shows the seeds of the templars but because the creed is not there you're not a assassin to you I guess yet that's what you do in both games
@@SuperZombiepimp technically you're the fake assassins creed fan here if you believe simply molding it into the story makes the many changes which remove the assassin aspect suddenly okay
@@SuperZombiepimp i've been playing the series since game one, i've played almost all of them until origins and i just simply stopped there. Giving a vague excuse of story for the game doesnt convert it into an assasins creed game. These games feel much more like an spin off more than one of the assasins creed games. You call us fake fans but you aren't one at all to do so if you think the way you do.
"I was wondering when I would get my hidden blade when a woman gave me one and said, 'This is a weapon from ancient times...' Bitch, we're in ancient times! I wanna know who built these fuckin things!" -Zero Punctuation, review on AC Origins lol 'founding the assassins creed' my ass hahahaha
One of the things I’ll always remember so well about this trailer was that in one fight scene, you’ve learned that the personality of Ezio is going to be completely different from Altair. Just from his nonchalance as he fights to the little cheeky head tilt when he sees a defenseless guard and decides not to kill him. I just love it so much!
A good detail is that Ezio kills only ones that tried to attack/kill him, it's a defense to say it straight. That's why he isn't killing the one laying defenseless.
@@northwestclasspnw7974 Yah, Altair was indoctrinated/inducted from childhood to becoming a loyal footsoldier of the Order whereas Ezio was on the cusp of becoming a man and was violently and cruelly yanked into the life and secret war going on behind the scenes around him.
@@folo7595 All in all Brotherhood I guess. Despite the Altaïr story Revelations feels a bit short. I like Connor, but the side quests are a boring in 3. And Liberation is a spin off to begin with. However, the gameplay has always been pretty good, and it's nice that they keep on adding mechanics from game to game. The backstory with ancient artifacts and "Gods" ties the overarching story together, and I'm looking forward to finding their secrets in Black Flag. Oh, and despite tons of bugs the King Washington DLC was awesome. Forgot: My favourite assassin is Connor because of his looks, good heart and playstyle, haha.
@@matthewsdrumjazz it means computer-generated imagery, which actually means that this trailer isn't in-game footage but a rendered video with high quality effects. It's like a short movie in the end.
The way Basim followed his target on foot, to climb a building at the last last minute, just for this epic jump. Mediocre fan service, that's what it is.
@@jayg.2066 its called THE Raenasince and it is the historical time period that came after the middle ages. Meaning either after the fall of Constantinople/Instabul (call the city what you will) or after Colombus first set foot in the americas.
@@thanos_karagiannhs5320 The Renaissance was a time period in the 15th - 16th centuries. The impact of the Black Death (a disease that killed 1/3 of the European population, which happened in the 14th century) had a profound impact on European society, one of these changes was an increased skepticism for the church and thus a renewed interest in solving problems using scientific reasoning. At the time, they looked towards the Classical Era, mainly philosophers and thinkers from Ancient Greece. This caused people to consider adopting Classical values such as liberalism, for one, and also led to a renewed interest for the arts, too. It was considered a "rebirth," which is what the word renaissance means. I may have gotten a few things wrong, I kinda did write this just from what I remember.
This was the MOST Important moment for me that this game created bond with me and it never let Go. Because I have brother and the Music is masterpiece and Beautiful human renaissance ! Of course only with true Ezio assassins games.
I find it so cool how everything done in this cinematic trailer is stuff you do in the actual game. Bribing people to distract other NPCs while you assassinate your target, hiding in crowds, using the combat system to attack, evad, parry, and disarm enemies, park-ouring your way through city roof tops, using ranged weapons, etc. Such a solid trailer!
The first acs the story was good but you didnt feel anything like a assasin, you had a silly outfit literally screaming SEE ME, and throwing knifes that was it, people are just so nostalgic
also it let go even the slightest "inspired by hystorical realities", those vikings are just the worst portrait, and that "templar"... he wore helmet from ancient rome period and a fricking sword from future (viking era did not had two handed swords)
Fun fact: you can do the Superhero landing in Black Flag, AC3 and Rogue by holding the right trigger when falling from a certain distance, and you can hold that pose indefinitely lol
Watching this on 12 year anniversary of game release. One of the best games ever made! I would give fortunes to go back to 2009 and expirience this masterpiece once again for the first time...
Ah, I had to download this from the Xbox 360 marketplace. Those were the days. And by that I mean, thank fuck that's no longer the case, waiting 20 minutes to watch a 3 minutes video
I remember when this trailer dropped and all of us were mad as fuck that we had to play as some Italian stud instead of Altair. I am proud to say we all ate our words~
A little different story for me pal, i was super exited abt playing this new badass assassin, but then i found out when i first played it that Ezio was just some stupid arrogant snot nosed punk.. I remember being so disappointed in this character, why they had to make him a brat so to appeal to today's youth maybe? So strange to say that this character became my all time favourite and i look up to him now
Certainly true fwg1994, at the time though, i compared Ezio in the game to this Ezio in the trailer, the latter one was simply far more badass at the time :')
I rember the first time I ever played this, the magic I felt, the music, the story, it was everything for 10 year old me. And at 16 when It was relased on PS4 I replayed it again and it was just as magical. Now at 21 I am gonna replay it again, on PC. AC2 was one of the best games on the ps3 for me.
When I was a young man, I had liberty, but I did not see it. I had time, but I did not know it. And I had love, but I did not feel it. Many decades would pass before I understood the meaning of all three. And now, the twilight of my life, this understanding has passed into contentment. Love, liberty, and time: once so disposable, are the fuels that drive me forward. And love, most especially, mio caro. For you, our children, our brothers and sisters. And for the vast and wonderful world that gave us life, and keeps us guessing. Endless affection, mia Sofia. Forever yours, Ezio Auditore.
+Nora2003 A AC3 was my first ac game then i played brotherhood, 2, 1 revelations, 4, skip unity, skip rogue i want to play syndicate since it has many good reviews
2:11 to 2:16 My favorite part of the trailer. I just love how he is so skillful that he could just keep going without stopping. He jumped from a boat to small poles, and jumped high enough to grab onto a ledge and then climb up. The agility, strength, balance, and speed he has to do all of this without stopping and quite quickly to, without showing signs of getting tired. Really creates this feeling for me that these Assassins are these almost mysterious unstoppable people. Super cool.
Does Adewale even count? I wouldn't call him a protagonist, but he's involved enough that I would consider him on similar ground with Haytham. Is HAYTHAM a protagonist? Oh boy, idk.
Behavior Well, God of War 2018 is good the others are awful, I wouldn’t wipe my ass with any Uncharted title, Assassin’s Creed is a better franchise than Far Cry, Mario is great for gameplay but lacks story and innovation, Smash is multiplayer, COD is shit, Battlefield is shit, GTA is the only true competition for Assassin’s Creed, Pokémon isn’t my thing and neither is DOTA, and finally Resident Evil 4 and and Resident Evil 2 Remake are amazing but Assassin’s Creed 2 and Brotherhood got them beat. So the only franchise that is better than Assassin’s Creed is GTA. But this is my belief.
@SoapNBanana ac was realsitch back when stopping 2012. The writer just killed desmond of for no logic. Also remember what juno said if desmond would activate the shield minerva have his way by controlloing the earth. The assains would have let the world to end in that regard they never would have let minerva controll but the writer thought lets make desmond dumb m
One of the things that enrages me is how much the new AC players are missing out. They will hold to their heart that Black Flag is the best, but only if they experienced this amazing gem...I can't say in words how much I fucking love this game.
im planning to buy this, its one if the only ac games that not under developed and spamed. ubisoft realesing every year is starting to get like the cod bullshit since 2006. its a good thing ubisoft stoped this year and fix their mistakes
Over the course of the months, I played all the gen7 Assassin's Creed games in succession. Although Rogue is my personal favorite, the Ezio trilogy is by far one of the best triumphs in video game history.
Guns were invented even way back. 1364 was it? So they pretty much existed for....122 years.... I mean its Italy not many used guns.... I guess..? And Swords, Spears and Bows were like cheaper and popular to use.
I remember starting this game on day 1. Truely a masterpiece. Aiming everyday towards that 100% completion! One game I wish I could start again without any knowledge of it and be blown away again.
@@benjad92 Black Flag started out as a pirate game yes, but Edward's character development from complete dick to gentleman was sick. Yes it didn't feel like an assassin's creed but was still a good game
This game changed my life back in 2009, by far the best game in history, way advanced for his era, a masterpiece combining artwork, soundtrack, great gameplay, amazing story and characters. Its 2020 and I stay play this on my xbox one. The best game ever.
Hartley Davidson duuude like who the fuck actually thought that using ANYTHING BUT ezios family for an AC trailer was even acceptable. And if it wasnt in the trailer it really should be somewhere in the movie, like the opening credits
***** I have had an XBOX 360 and a PC. That 360 is dusting right now of course. But the only difference between PC and XBOX 360 while I was still using the XBOX 360 was that the XBOX 360 had lower resolution and FPS. I'm not sure where is the difference beyond performance?
***** That's why there is no difference. Except for me, because I prefer 1080p and 60 fps which the new consoles probably will have with the remastered. But I suck at patience so I got it at the desired video output earlier. :D
Assassins Creed fans that have been here since Day 01: AC2 is the best AC game! New Assassins Creed fans: AC 4 Black Flag is the best AC game! Glad to have been here since the beginning
2023 , and i still remember how amazed i was when i watched it for the first time in my highschool informatic class . 13 years and it is always the best trailer video .
3:00 took me ages to know why ezio shoot him instead of hidden blade.. I now understand that antagonist will only bark or tell their plans if he/she thinks they won or got the advantages. XD
This is my absolute childhood it raised me and I think this might be the last time I return to it going into highschool for the first time I look back and I know it was worth it also I would like to say I don’t know if anyone is ever going to read this but I hope you all had an amazing time with this as I did now I’m going to boot up my old Xbox 360 and play all of three ezio games one last time so goodbye “Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end” Requiescat in pace,
This is definitely one of the best E3 trailers, I love how it felt like you were playing it and he wasn't doing anything eccentric or using mechanics that were removed
