It is the second major installment in the Assassin's Creed series, a sequel to 2007's Assassin's Creed. The game was first released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in November 2009, and was later made available on Microsoft Windows in March 2010 and OS X in October 2010. Several minor game-related features could be redeemed on Uplay and three downloadable expansion packs were released on Xbox Live.

In AC II, while racing Federico, you can actually get to the finish line by directly scaling the church walls. When you do that, Ezio mutters, "I almost feel bad about this."

I just went through it again, and if we could get a full remake with the controls of the newer games, as well as an engine upgrade (so yeah, full remake) it would be a lot better. I forgot just how many annoying bugs and quirks there were.

They've all been good and had to adapt with the times. You forget people were very tired of Ezio as a character and begged Ubisoft to move on. Stagnancy isn't always good in gaming, even the most traditional franchises had to try new things.

@@drinmaliqi3221 Being an Assassin has always been a combination of *stealth* and *combat.* The difference is that, in the older games, combat used to be slower, more limited and (honestly) less fun, while stealth allowed for one-hit kills, so the latter often seemed like a better option.

That'd be remake and they should start with the first one on a scale like odyssey but with rpg elements that don't go beyond unity's extent (talking combat and customization)

I vividly remember when this came out: we were all coming from the original AC so hyped up yet disappointed for the many issues that game had. All we strongly desired for was a new and much improved AC, bigger, deeper, something that would express the true potential of these incredible new mechanics at its fullest and Ubisoft delivered, BIG TIME. Best Assassin's Creed EVER MADE BY FAR. Requiescat in pace.

Completed this gem on my potato laptop in medium settings at around 30-40 fps, I swear I really felt like I was back in my childhood. Sometimes low fps aren’t truly bad. I’ve never played the 2 earlier. All others yes I’ve played them.

Back in my Grade 3 days I had so much good times playing this game like i learn so much history and this were i knew Lorenze de medici and even the pazzi but one thing that ezio gives me something is that he always mind me that i should try to visit florence and venice,Forli and monteriggioni.But after that thing i had good times on this game i really the old days enjoying playing this kind of games because the more you get old the more you lost enjoy playing games

I recently bought ps plus premium for my PS5. I've played batman Arkham origins, ac freedom cry, and now I'm playing GOW3 remastered. As soon as I'm done with GOW3 I'm definitely getting the Ezio collection

"May it never change and may it never change us". Anytime I played, how much the story changes, I always remembered this. I would try to also listen to the advice may it never change us, anytime I wanted to kill someone badly. I'd still try to do it quickly. This scene on the top of the roof. Is Assassins creed for me.

Assassins Creed 2 graphically has aged remarkably well (as long as you don't count the cutscenes). this is one of those games from the times before Ubisoft became greedy at all costs.

I agree, The Ezio Collection is not available on PC sadly but the framerate on PS5 was more stable than some newer games that came out years after those 3 games

@@M19Ozone tbh i dont really know why it needs to be available on pc, the main purpose of it just seemed to be having the game at a higher resolution on newer consoles (mostly for ps4 players who previously had no way to play these games on that console). On pc you can already turn up the resolution and graphical settings
