1:42:52 You can see the sudden realization in his speech as he gives it away. Washington was by no means a man who wanted power, in fact he despised holding any for that matter, so had he actually been put through this simulation he would most definitely be horrified and disgusted
@@HaloDude557 I mean the adventure George Washington was experiencing beforehand. It was like a rush. Yes became appalled after, but he felt like a godlike King. It wasn't out of his realm of imagination, otherwise it wouldn't have been thought about.
@@v.k.rt.m.6030 ok but we are talking about his reaction to the vision, not the vision itself... He didn't go on a power trip after the vision and he wasn't horrified during the vision because he hadn't foreseen the future yet...
I always figured that Connor’s native language is as natural to him as English (probably) is to the player, and that was meant to connect with us in the sense that it’s what we understand best.
I remember something back in assassin‘s creed one when Lucy was saying that most of what they were saying in their language was translated through the Animus. Perhaps this is what happened
There’s a in game explanation for that in ac1 the explanation is that the animus has a built in real time translator but sometimes depending on the degradation of the genetic memory not everything is translated. That’s why sometimes is English sometimes is another language being Italian French or whatever depending on the game
Little do you people know that this could’ve happened minus the apple of eden because way back just after we won the revolutionary war Benjamin Franklin and all the other founding fathers including president Washington met and Ben said so what should we call you George, your majesty? your greatness? But Washington said no we just got done fighting a tyrannical king and I will not be thought of as king call me Mr.President and thus our government as we know it was born but keep in mind that if Washington said yes to being called king something like this could very well have happened so the lesson here is our actions have consequences and/or reactions and with great power comes great responsibility
I figured it had to be something like that in the end to put together why we were playing in this alternate reality; but, it also kind of didn't make sense. In theory it should have been a simulation of what happens going forward from that moment where Washington and Connor are meeting with the apple if Washington chooses to keep it. So the whole part where it starts with Connor never really became Connor, and everything preceding that moment where Washington would have received the apple was completely different, just really didn't add up to me.
@@bonesawisready684 sorry I'm a year late but this is my first time watching this. I thought exactly the same thing I didn't very much like this ending. The whole "it's all a simulation" thing has been played out since before this game released. And I was genuinely curious why only Connor remembered himself. Or why Washington possessing the apple brought his mother back somehow. Overall poor conclusion for how interestingly it began
Why nobody's talking about Connor's voice whenever he realizes his mother's still alive 😭? Like poor dude he sounded so happy and hurt at the same time
Even though this was before AC 4, and I loved Black Flag, but knowing the story of Haytham Kenway, his sister Jennifer(I feel sad for that character because after Edward got her in his life while he did love her and take care of her, he didn’t train her like an Assassin, but he did train Haytham like an Assassin, and that left Jennifer disappointed and honestly Jennifer could’ve used Assassin skills)and Edward’s fate makes me sad
@@carsenmaxwell3336 Edward might've survived Birch's attack in Tyranny of King Washington, after all Haytham was part of a "secretive brotherhood" that might've been the Assassins
First Connor gets stabbed in his side by William Johnson then he gets shot multiple times by Washington and it gets death by Washington and then get shot in his stomach yet still alive I am convinced that Connor is the goaded assassin
They should make Connor's mother look older just like how they made Haytham had white hair when Connor was adult. it's weird seeing Connor look older than his mom lol
Benedict Arnold wouldn't be remembered. To a certain extent, he was punished by way of damnatio memoriae. The monument for the Battle of Saratoga has a blank niche where Benedict Arnold's name is missing from the list of victorious generals. Various other Revolutionary War monuments either omit his name or, in the case of West Point, anonymously list only his rank and date of birth.
This alternate scenario aside, Benedict Arnold was a traitor who sought only personal glory and viewed that the British would deliver him such. While suffering wounds and understandably furious with the Continental Congress as all officers were (even launching a potential coup d’etat in the Newburgh conspiracy only stopped by Washington himself), his sudden betrayal of his Commander and becoming another turncoat rightfully earned him infamy among the U.S. armed forces and history. Although I still think he should be taught in schools and analyzed in great detail as to why he deserted in the first place
The only thing I really don't like about watching GLP videos is that he never really seems to use the abilities unlocked during play. I see when they mention an optional message like "use animal abilities to kill guard", he'll just walk up and assassinate them regularly. It'd be much cooler and probably easier to fight using the wolves and his flying ability.
If the fans want more Mass Effect I am working on putting together a deal for Bioware to produce a new title with fan input. Trying to get things started so if you see this head to twitter and follow @ShadowAgent8 I will give details on the project as the community builds.
Something like this tyranny here would happen if one of nowadays weak ass (refering to their character) politicians were to possess an artefact like that. 💀
American history in General. Sure maybe Washington wasn’t a king and US is republic on paper. It doesn’t change the fact that US is empire and that Washington and other “Kings” genocided almost entire native population
The dlc looks more like an agenda to bring British audience back who were pissed about the American revolution concepts and british defaming., so ubisoft apologized with British audience with this dlc,.. But nevertheless a great story it is.
