Assassin's Creed Black Flag Review: Should You Buy in 2022? 

Black Flag was my first AC game and my first open world game, which having never played one I found so damn cool. Sailing at sunset across the Caribbean while your crew sings a sea shanty is a memory I'll never forget. The characters, naval combat and overall setting were just fantastic. Having played about 100 open world games since then I've become far more jaded but that first experience was something special. Would love a remaster!

Black flag imo is top 3 for me. Just so well made. The perfect pirate fantasy with amazing character development. LOVED the ship combat. Just such a sick game. And very well put together video man! Super impressed, you gained a subscriber in me!

I remember making the decision to buy and play this on PlayStation 3 because I didn't want to wait a month for the PlayStation 4 version. One of the best decisions I made. Such a great game! And honestly, Assassin’s Creed Rogue is great, too. Bought that day one on PS3 too and finished it with a smile on my face all throughout!

I still remember fighting the 2 legendary ghost ships in black flag on ps3 in 2014 last time i played it so epic im going for the 2nd playthrough on ps4 after so many many years now i love the game but i hope the graphic wont let me down lol

The older ac games are amazing

After finishing Valhalla final chapter, I decided to play Syndicate. Just finished it yesterday. I just might revisit Black Flag on the Series X.

I only got into assassin's creed a year ago and played the 2nd first and then proceeded to try the newer ones but I found the last ones after unity to be boring and to date I say to complicated, i guess it may be me but idk but I really enjoyed this game

Rogue was PS3 only so definitely needed it more

I'm thinking about reinstall this, I never finished it. And I was enjoying this and Unity too.

AC 3 was the first game to introduce naval mechanics not AC 4

Just restarted a new game on black flag also picked up the slave dlc very very cheap

Berserker darts were my sh1t go up high hit the guard on duty while everyone's asleep and let the madness start while I just watch and breserker another after he dies

I'm pretty sure in the pirate era there was no dental plan except pull em out with a rope tied to a cannon ball (old wives tale I heard) so yeah in fact my teeth are so bad right now I'm pretty sure if I went back in time to the pirate era they'd have no clue I was from a different time period all though they'd probably question why my top teeth are black and my bottom teeth are white (i'm still questioning that myself) i'm looking to have all the top ones replaced with fake ones bolted to the jawbone if my alt streaming account takes off! So yeah historically inaccurate but I do agree black flag needs a remaster especially since I've gotta get the 3rd game never finished it on 360 planning to play it on PC once i've built my new pc as for the rest of the games I own them but Never got round to it (gave up after my AC3 data got lost by microsoft on 360 and I had to start again it's big game with a fairly long story and I wanted the completionist run with all side quests hmm maybe i'll use my capture card hook up my old 360 slim if it still works and play the original) sadly never played black flag the road block put me off and I got busy with a games design course for 4 years then depression after I quit due to physical illness and multiple other factors I wont go into... so yeah it's been maany, many years from black flag and the games I need to play in the franchise have quite frankly not only got out of hand but drifted from the style i'm interested in I am not sure i'll play after origins it was the last AC I was remotely interested in before I feel it went full RPGC instead of AC The new one coming out looks promising though I heard Ubi fired the top dogs to push all the franchises back to their lanes instead of turning them all into health sponge rpgs and and fps that all play similar like the fired ones were doing... i'd like division to stay in tom clancy's vision and Assassin's Creed to still feel like it has what most people consider to be assassin like qualities like untamed parkour and stealth mechanics theres nothing wrong with the rpg elements I just feel like it drifted too far from what the franchise was meant to be! the old Ubi wouldn't of done than when they drifted too far from what made prince of persia, prince of persia they decided to give it a new title Assassin's Creed and that was very much the right decision I sort of feel like AC: Valhalla and AC: Odyessy could of been a separate franchise in the same AC universe just not with the same title attached and then given the OG fans of the old Assassin's Creed formula some new life while sticking to it's foundation of stealth and parkour with assassinations making new AC games that actually feel like AC games! to be fair I did see some of those mechanics in both Odyessy and Valhalla but they'd been toned done in favour of more rpg style combat! Honestly i'd of bought them as completely seperate titles cause if they were just in the same universe not the same franchise then I wouldn't of felt beholden to not play them until i'd finished all the prior games! which is why I played the og assassin's creed games despite not completing every prince of persia game (which is what i'm trying to do now I bought the trilogy and am having fun with SoT)

Reminds me of AC:Bloodline, by the old battles and slight different but admiring the old ac, to ac bf, which makes it more definite.

why would Black Flag need a remaster? It still looks amazing. We already get too many remasters but it seems like you want to remake the same darn games every 5 to 10 years or so?

I never cares about the graphics I have a ps5 that capped at 60 I just still have full grain but it’s not really a bother this game had everything any other creed game did not and that was the feeling of being badass

The campaign in this sucks too many tailing missions
