I hope Mirage is the much needed return to AC's roots. Baghdad looks absolutely phenomenal, and that Ubisoft took their time to build a city with a degree of historical accuracy (game liberties aside) bodes well. Fingers crossed it's a return to form for the franchise.
( I grew up with Assassins Creed) I agree, this is a game that actually FOCUS on what an Assassins Game should be.. it looks great. The Nostalgia is real for me, I am a fan of the Older games
Assassins Creed isn’t just about Historical Accuracy. Assassin’s Creed is about Assassins and how they navigate through their time periods. The lore of Assassins Creed is very appealing which you should consider checking out when you’ve the time. Also Parkour is another mechanic people are thrilled about. Parkour is one of the things that makes The Assassin’s Creed franchise unique from other games and you can trust me with that because I’ve been a gamer for over 20 years and I am 25 right now.
Baghdad setting reminds me of the Damascus and Jerusalem areas in AC1 which reminds me of Altair who is the GOAT (greatest of all time) Assassin…so I’m excited for it. Also love how authentic they are trying to be with the Muslims call to Prayer (Adhan) and the scientific discoveries…considering it was indeed a golden age of Islamic Civilzation in the 9th century. Hope the story is good as well
I liked Odyssey and Valhalla, buuuutttttt, they were not assassin's creed games. Here is hoping the new one's return to the roots and stop pushing Hard Combat to draw in PVP money.
