Thanks for the vid @Fizhy. I didn't know Juno storyline ended. That was literally the entire plot-driven for the game franchise & Ubisoft expanded it to other lore and into a spiral of confusion. Ubisoft should've made this storyline into the game, giving the Juno arc an ending within the game franchise. Ending Juno arc as a comic book tie-in is just lazy writing, production & money. Then WTF is AC Origins & AC Oddysey are for then..? A honeydicking of the expanded lore of the AC universe. The main point I played the franchise was to get a closure ending of Juno's arc. Not some intro new characters, new 'threats', new locations & all-related-Pieces of Eden 'historical' events. Jeez Ubisoft.

We need to revolt just like star wars hardcore fans did with disney n Lucasfilm..we need to do it guys..so ubisoft thinks back wat they did n fix it

Whats worse is that by doing this it just confirms they are going to keep making games like Odyssey which practically does not have anything to do with the original game's modern day story line.

Ubisoft has no fucking idea what they are doing now. I'm sure of that at this point...I had hope that they would get their shit together with Origins and any follow ups...then BOOM, FUCKING ODYSSEY.

That being said, 'SEGA & Sonic Team' seemed to have a lot of unofficial involvements in the Asssassin's Creed project, at least their 'unofficial staff' (think the classic series Mission: Impossible crew). They're also involved in the Xeno series (e.g. Xenogears), Stargate series (SG≈SeGa), and even My Little Pony.

Rodrick Hatton Ubisoft wants to try new mechanic's and refresh the series,the old assassins creed games are great but the combat is way too easy,as soon as you kill someone,you can instantly go into instant kill chain combos which means there's no challenge,the modern day story aspect got abandoned due to fans wanting a whole new different assassins creed game,that's why origins is much different.

Origins is shit aswell, enemies just keep backing up forever. The main problem however is the STORY!

@tangbein, except Ubisoft and their story writers didn't truly listen from the game's fanbase... They completely ignored what the fanbase wanted and needed all along from their games... If Ubisoft actually truly cared, and truly listened to their fanbase, they would've thought of a better way to have brought Desmond back earlier on in the game series, instead of just reincarnating himself as "the reader"; because, let's face it, killing off one of your main heroes like they decided on in AC3 is a horrible decision for any series in mass media. Also, even if they still wanted him dead but wanted to have a proper way of Juno's story arc ending in justice in the game series, they would've found a better way by listening to the fans for imput, and actually have had Juno's story end in the games... There wouldn't need to be any use for any graphic novels or comic books, because video games visually can tell a story better, if implemented correctly. Those were two points listed out on what all Assassin's Creed fans kept wanting to see earlier on, espically since Ubisoft kept dragging out the series with video game after video game...Ubisoft, however, as you can expect by this point, didn't listen... They disconnected themselves completely from what their fans actually wanted, and they milked the series to what they, themselves (being the developers) actually wanted instead... And what Ubisoft was proven only to have cared about was making a quick buck, since they figured all the fans would purchase and download nearly anything with the title of "Assassin's Creed"... It's not listing to your fanbase in the end, it's unlovingly disconnecting yourself from your fanbase, and indirectly and symbolically spitting into the faces of your fans. It's the worst thing any series in any form of mass media can do to their fanbase. It shows a cooperation's respect of quantity over quality, instead of respecting quality over quantity. To Ubisoft, they don't care on what the fans want. All they care is making money instead of making quality games with quality storylines and quality gameplay. That's it in a nutshell.

If desmond wouldnt have sacrifised himself he wouldve destroyed the world, by sacrifising himslrf he saved the world + saved juno in the process, minervas was saying that he could save the world or start the world all iver again, have all 7billion people killed and only them survive, desmond chose to save earth

Yes and no. Desmond did save the world from the flare but also released Juno, who was killed by humans as Minerva stated. But Desmond delayed the destruction of the world and Layla is now the one to either stop it again or alter time/history so these extinction​ level events don't happen again.

Azrael Wolfsblood | Desmond refused to Reboot the entire civilization, making his goal more or less aligned with the Computer Generated Persona known as Juno. Minerva declared the entire civilization is just too corrupted, plus she is not willing to let Juno. Meanwhile there is someone who just say, "Let it go… Let it go…" And it bound to end in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

The modern day story was always just used to support the main story of each game. It was pretty clear early on. If you are interested in the story of the past assassin then get the game. They just want to keep the modern day simple so that newcomers dont need to know previous games.

Imagine after 10 years of Marvel movies, they decide to do Infinity War through a comic? That’s exactly what Ubisoft did with Assassin’s Creed. After 10 years of games, they decided to end the biggest and most anticipated antagonist of the series within a comic. What a missed opportunity. Look how successful Infinity War is as a film. Imagine the ultimate Assassin’s Creed game that made us finish Juno.

Juno originally planned to possess a human body. So maybe she possessed Charlotte and tricked the assassins into thinking she had been killed.

@@ForsakenAngel11 they should have done this mmorpg style. have a main assassin's creed game playstyle and have teams of assassin's and templars working together to deal with the ISU threat for example templars play closer to being fighters and overall based on combat while assassin's are specced towards stealth with advantages and disadvantages between both for example templars are stronger thus they have stronger grabs, able to throw assassins farther to help them reach higher areas while assassins are able to assassinate and infiltration so the assassins play similarly to unity and syndicate (without the hud to tell you when to parry, dodge, and time your attacks) while templars play similarly to assassins creed origins. stupid idea but it at least doesn't retcon important parts of the story, makes juno a threat that makes both sides that were at eachother's throat work together, and if they wanted to milk it make a full expansion dlc for within the game so they can add single player animus explorations for different eras and give players skills depending on the type of memories being synchronized.

jman3081 They dropped the Eve thing with AC3 already. Juno told Desmond and Clay that Eve needs to be found. All she wanted was to save the world and be freed. Eve was supposed to guide Desmond to the finale in some way. The only thing that makes sense is that the Amulet Key was coded with Eves DNA. She locked the chamber during the human rebellion as she found out that Juno was slumbering in the indestructable walls. Why else would this world saving machine be locked away so well, or why are there no details about the amulet.

Then all of sudden she gets her body in the comic books and gets killed off by a hidden blade in the comics. That's so stupid. Because I think real assassins creed fans expected to gather enough POE and have a big finale finally killing juno. When you go back to the truth of adam and eve escaping that's all you really learn. But we still have questions. Where is eden? That sage in unity talked about a city. I want to have part in these stories and not just juno gets a body and gets stabbed. That's lazy writing

Yeah. It was always clear that the present day sequences were just there to support the Animus idea. The main story and 90% of the content of each game were still set in the past. Now Ubisoft decided they take the complex stuff out of the modern day so newcomers wont feel like missing out.

About Eden. The AC2 Truth video had a huge mountain in the background which looked like Kilimanjaro. So it might be in Africa. It fits with the theories that humans come from there. Kilimanjaro is also a spot on Altairs map. "Find Eve. In Eden." Half of the story to save the world has been dropped and replaced with the Amulet. I really think that the Amulet was coded by Eve with her own DNA. Maybe it was there all along until it was retrieved in the 18th century. It is very odd that we dont know anything about the Amulet Key. But no, Ubisoft abandoned explanations and went on. AC is just a milked money machine since Desmond died. For me personally, I see AC Rogue as the ending of the franchise. Every other game just teases future stories that wont come to a conclusion.

Bob Pickleson, That'll do nothing. There will always be people with one of these ideologies in heart and thus the Assassin Brotherhood and the Templar Order will be reborn and continue their war. The Creed will unite Assassins, while the Understanding will always unite Templars together. It is impossible to destroy either faction, the only way out - peace between them.

Actually there was almost no alliance. Juno has just recruited people from both Assassins and Templars. Berg found out that some in the Order are with Juno, he found out that same traitors are in the Brotherhood. Understanding that Assassins and Templars won't be able to defeat Juno on their own, he offered a temporarial alliance.
