Before you even encounter them, release the wheel, the momentum of your ship will get you through the event. It works on legendary ships. Consider only taking down one out of the two ships.

I remember using this strategy against El Impoluto but then I died from falling, only to get so angry and defeat it the right way.

I remember when I would just kill one for the money, leave, and do it again. My favorite way to get money

i tried this on ps4 countless times, never worked, the ships never got close enough, tried pointing the gun at them, tried turning a bit to the right and left, tried coming from different angles, they never got close enough to swing over or jump, but i managed to do it the "normal" way in the end. my ship fully upgraded just make sure to brace everytime they try to hit you, and get them both close to death before killing either one.

It worked but i died from falling of the tower

When I first played the game I thought they were fire hydrants then I want to one and it said legendary ship

1st mark the legendary ship in map.... Move fast and release the wheel when the meter is 596....it automatically enter in to the battle

Funny thing is the two ships were tangled up against each other I legit waited for an hour for them to come to me and which they never did, so I just swam to them and vented my anger to them in which I was not able to do due to them being a legendary ship basically you can't swim and climb on them which wasted even more time for me, despite being a legendary ship they're the slowest.

They just keep turning away from meeeeeeee

Copypaste from my comment in Kreative's video 💙 It does work It is 1/12/19, while you aproach the ship just spam A+A and hold B to stop grabbing the wheel, already done It with this ship and the Black Lady, It has some glitches but if you're clever enough you will figure It out how to surpass them, I think the only ship you can't cheese or would not be that easy are the twin ships, you need to be lucky to get the second one close enough to board It. ~The Black Lady or "La dama negra" with the same process, the only change is the ship itself, it has an invisible barrier but you can alert the guards to fall in the water, a brute can stay on the ship even if you alert him, but you can kill him by alerting him and let him throw a grenade but you have to be right above him, he will fall by his own grenade if you angle It correctly. ~Done it with The Impoluto same process as the Prince. ~Kinda done It with The twin ships, you only can cheese one of them, you have to wait like a 9 or 8 minutes because they move sooooo slow, if the ship doesn't come near your ship retry the same process until you get It, when you finish one ship you have to face the other one normally, sadly you need quite a advanced ship to win against him and even worse, in my game the ship left was the Fearless and for some reason the other respawn but It wasnt a priority target, if that happens you only need to destroy the ship with a health bar in the objective tab, after that the other ship will vanish. I need to complete all the achievements after owning the game for too god damn long and my god even fully upgraded It is a pain in the ass beating all those ships almost 40min per ship, thank you man you made my december 💜 That's all i can give you my friends.

I've done this over and over and the ships never drift near my ship after I have left the wheel. They go right by me.

fun fact: when one of the twins dies the other one gets angry and becomes el impluoto

What if while the fearless passes by you shoot the captain with a berserk dart?

I did it !!! just the way it was displayed in the video. Had to do it several times just to get the ships on the right location. They flew right by me several times. Once I destroyed one ship it will respawn back up but I only had to destroy the other one which count, and the game will register it as both destroyed even though one ship was respawned from the dead.

I just tried this morning. I let the wheel off and then waited for quite a long time. I knew that your method won't work cause I've tried it many times. But apparently, HMS Fearless and Royal Sovereign don't always stick together. Royal Sovereign was quite far at that time so I took my wheel back and started bombarding HMS Fearless until it sank. Then I chase the other one and sank it effortlessly. lol Oh, actually HMS Fearless (or the other) will respawn infinitely if the other one don't get sunk. But it won't attack you if it's alone.

i timed the ships for me and it took 16 minutes and 42 seconds.

That Twins ships is like a motorcycle... Unrealistic

Yes so I destroyed the Royal Sovereign by getting on board and then when I went to go and fights The Fearless for some reason the Royal Sovereign respawned and I died🙄

2023 here, i couldnt get the ships to line up (pc), but when i got back on the helm they still didnt attack me, even when i shot at them multiple times they still didnt attack me, so thats pretty much a free 20k to take lmao

On mine, the ships come to my ship, but not close enough for me to board them, and then they just keep circling me at a distance too far for me to board..

It's 2020 I'm still playing this game LMAO....

Is there some trick to get the ships to float towards you Iam missing? so far I tried 14 times but they don't seem to come close enough.

How come when you destroy the royal sovereign it doesn't come back but when I do it, it respawns

Looks more painful and annoying to this than fighting them straight up front lol.. just upgrate your jackdaw to max level and afterwards it become a piece of cake

I actually didnt have to fight any of them. When i was climbing on top of one of the pillar i guess, the other ship came and knocked me on it self. After i killed everyone there i could just jumo to the other one.

I did it and for some reason the royale sovereign kept on spawning in without people on it so I just kept on destroying it getting 10000 reales everytime

I think you could actually jump on one of the ships, then it stops and jump straight to the other one for it to stop as well and then kill everyone... Might work

Every time I wanted to destroy these legendary ships i would get off the wheel just when I can see them but not when I’m close enough to be in battle and i would jump off the jackdaw and swim to the ships and then climb on the boats and kill all the guards. Once i finished killing all the guards I jump off the ships and swim back to my boat and then you go into battle but the ships do not try to move or attack you because I killed all the guards on the ships and then you can just unload on the ships and it’s 10x easier

That guard got the moves

why cant we have an option to get the ship if it has no damage or any crew left jackdaw is soo small

The HMS fearless I took on them they got much powerful naval armour and armoury guns that are impossible to take that out you need upgrade rockets to take out that thing. Why do you think they call it the legend one because unlike all the other boats it has never lost a single war against the pirates. You have to release the wheel that’s how you do it and drift towards them not take them on.

This never works for me. Ever. They just list lazily away.

Can anyone explain why I can't go very fast during the battle but the other boats can? They turn on a fucking dime and catch up to me like I'm sitting still and that's what keeps getting me killed. If someone could spell it out for me and/or send me a video WITHOUT the letting go of the wheel glitch that would be great!
