This theme was used only twice in the entire game, two of the most important events 1-Edward stealing the Jackdaw, and finally becoming a pirate captain. 2-Edward chasing down and killing the most badass villain of the game and his main adversary, Captain Bartholomew Roberts.

I'm not a book guy, but has anyone read the book? 10/10 fucking worth it even for a non book reader. Gave me a deeper respect from this game even after I hit 100%
it's because it was actually a good game. Unity and Syndicate were nowhere near as good. I initially didn't like the game, but I've revisited it and now truly appreciate what a good game it actually is. Hopefully the next AC is as open world as black flag.
TRIMC95 I think he meant "good" as in "successful" which in that case he's right. Also in actual history, Roberts was one of the most successful pirates and went against the grain like others in that he never got drunk, dressed with class, and was a great leader.

this is a HUGE EXAMPLE on how a good THRILL THEME can enhance an experience. Stealing the jackdaw wouldnt feel as badass without those beautiful drums!

One of the best missions of the game. I feel awesome sailing away from the Treasure fleet and going through the storm with that amazing music in the background, especially when 1:26 starts :D
ironmaiden93ofangmar Agreed. There's nothing like escaping from your enemies in a ridiculously awesome manner that would make Jack Sparrow himself tip his hat to you.
At first my game always crashed at this part where you had to escape the storm, fortunately it happened when this music played so it wasn't too boring doing the same part 10 times xD
"Waterspout!" Me: Turns towards the waterspout. Ade: What are you doing?! Me: This! Proceeds to crank wheel and use the Waterspout to slingshot further. I honestly don't know if it does anything but it looks cool as hell.
Man that mission was epic first save the captured pirates in stealth mode then take a brig & jumps into a strom while this epic theme play in which you never heard before .
Kevin Hertel Edward is a shitty assassin. He's an amazing character, but a shit assassin. His only motives are money, he doesnt really cares about the creed.
This is not true, at the beginning he wasn't Assassin yes but in the end he eventually becomes a Master Assassin like Ezio. And remember that also Ezio, the best in my opinion, at the beginning didn't know what were his true motives to fight. When you start with character that is already assassin this is boring. For example Aveline was boring to me

i was fighting a spanish fleet consisting of 3 frigates,2 brigs and a few schooners in the middle of a storm.i was kicking ass and this music started playing fuckin' epic
To be honest the jackdaw is the perfect ship to have its a brig and compared to other ships they all have disadvantages man o wars can be destroyed by using around shot at a distance while they only use mortars and heavy shot at close range while, frigates have limited heavy shot and mortar rounds, brigs will use chain shot to slow you down and ram you while schooners are fast but have a short health bar.The reason is that Edwards ship is a combination of all these ships because of the elite plans and various weapons mortars, swivel guns,fire barrels, Ram, heavy shot, chain shot, and round shot.
Assassin's Creed III didn't make me care about what was happening or anyone it happened to. Black Flag, on the other hand, made me remember why I loved the series in the first place.
stuck jackdaw was most funny to play(hear me out before you hate) with stock or some little upgrades you put an effort into battle against one ship,making it realistic at some point,for example i enjoyed the most trying to sink 29 lvl frigate,the battle took 5 minutes with my manovuer and picking chance to open fire
