That evil looking thing that Basim sees at the end is likely one of the visions or part of the visions which lead him to becoming Loki, or rather Loki taking over Basim’s mind.

Brotherhood is still my favorite so i'm glad this one is going back to the roots. Also i got teary eyed hearing the main theme/ Ezio's theme. It's always so good to hear it.

It seems interesting to see Basin 15 years ago before Valhalla and I believe that there going to be unique storyline 😄 also during the Ubisoft forward, they have announced 3 other assassin’s creed games. With that said, there was some mine trap bombs during Revolations with Ezio's timeline.

Actually Ezio's family was there in Valhalla. It came during the end Credits. Such a legendary song. Always gives me goosebumps.

Ubisoft just did a breakdown of the trailer & one of the devs said that the creature at the end is called a Djinn. According to Google, it's a certain type of spirit in Islam, similar to an angel. The devs said this Djinn will be present in every memory corridor (the cutscene that plays when you kill main targets in AC games). I think this is Loki. In the same way that Odin was present with Eivor in most memory corridor scenes in Valhalla, Loki will be present with Basim. The same way that Eivor interpreted all the Isu stuff as Norse mythology, Basim might do the same with Arabian mythology, at least until Loki takes over.

8:12 you’re right and pretty spot on when sayin all the new tech fits that era as Baghdad,Iraq was the sole Center for knowledge, Mathematics(it was the birthplace of Algebra and Algorithms), Science as well… everyone around the world would travel to Baghdad to seek knowledge! In AC Valhalla during a chat with Eivor, Basim mentioned that he studied at Darul Hikma (House Of Wisdom) which was the greatest university in the world back then that lies in ancient Baghdad! To see how it was and visit it is giving a great hype! Let's go!

Really hopeful it will be like the older games. Don't get me wrong, I love open world rpgs, but I feel like they don't really fit for AC, though Origins was pretty good at being an open world RPG while still being an Assassin's Creed game and unfortunately didn't get the same feeling from Odyssey and Valhalla. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this game at least, but don't know how to feel about the other stuff they announced.

When that classic AC music kicked in at the end I got the goosies.

Very much gives off AC1 vibes. They actually do have Ezio's Family in AC Valhalla but it was used in the credits which are optional.

The voice of the female assassin narrating, is done by Shohreh Aghdashloo. She also voiced the role of the enforcer lady in Arcane.

Reminds me of AC: Revelations. Maybe we get more of a AC: Unity gameplay with AC: Origins open world elements😄

You can revisit the older Assassins' Creed games, starting from Assassins' Creed 1. They were among the best AC games. And they have Admiral Sha'la Raan from Mass Effect series as voice actor in this game. Her voice is really unique!

The white robes will always be favourite Assassin outfit so happy it’s back, imagine if we get to wear Altairs’s outfit later on when it becomes a reward to get.

Personally, I'm a fan of the earlier Assassin's Creed games. I still think AC2 and Black Flag are two of the best games in the franchise. I enjoy many of the current AC games and sincerely hope the franchise can catch lightning in a bottle like it did in the past.

It is interesting to know that Assassins, or the correct pronunciation of Hashashins, have existed in history and have Iranian roots. Their roots go back to the time of Hassan Sabah in Alamut Castle in Qazvin province in Iran. And Ubisoft has publicly stolen history from Iran and never announced it anywhere, I hope it will announce the facts in this game.

Ezio's Family, I believe, is in the official soundtrack for Valhalla. It's called "Ezio's Family - Ascending to Valhalla". It's a really nice version of the song, in my opinion

Vahalla wasn't a game that grabbed me, maybe it was timing on my part, but I just never could get into it like the others, this does look like it's going in a new direction game and play wise si I'll be keeping an eye out for a gameplay trailer, the world does look wonderful though, here's hoping it lived up to the hype.

Hopefully it's nothing like Odyssey like as much as enjoyed the world I just couldn't stand the lacklustre combat and dialogue along with the lack of Hidden One elements. This though looks amazing and seems like a total overhaul of the series.

They did say that this was going back to the AC form and I hope so cause these last few AC games are not assassins creed

It looks like it could be one of the best Assassin’s Creed game ever. Basim was a really strong character in Valhalla. I can’t wait for this game to come out and go back in time to this era.

This is Basim before Valhalla. I can't wait and i'm excited for this because it's gonna go back to original classic AC games

(SPOILERS FOR AC VALHALLA!!!!) The thing at the end of the trailer is what corrupts Basim. We first meet Basim in AC Valhalla and it turns out in the end that he is ``evil`` cause he has been corrupted by Loki (or loki has taken over his mind), and this game takes place 20 years before valhalla`s story, so this is most likely going to tell us what happend to him. Basim probably thinks its a djin that tries to attack him witch is his cultures version of a demon, but in this case its loki. (sorry for my bad english).

Certainly looks very impressive. The more modern AC suits my style. I put so many hours in Odyssey. Some days it would just be exploring and fighting with the ship or going all over a certain area. I really like to just live in the world and progress when I want. I have Origins running right now but haven't been playing as I don't run the gaming PC much in the summer heat. I'm sure I'll watch playthroughs of this game and decide.
