Assassin's Creed Nexus VR: Gameplay Overview | Meta Quest 2 & Meta Quest 3 

This game could put the quest2/3 in high demand and put VR gaming on the map big time if it turns out as good as it looks. I'm very excited for this.

It would be interesting to see how this game folds as we can ACTUALLY play like an Assassin

I will support this. I REALLY hope Ubisoft becomes something like Capcom is for Sony and PSVR, but for Quest. It looks like they've figured out a way to use much of the gameplay from ps3's era Assassin's games. I'd love Black Flag or any of the older games too, but if they want to keep using this formula, I'm buying it.

Honestly those accessibility features sounds really good- they should be a staple for all VR exploration games imo

This looks really, really, really, really promising. A big thumbs up to the team developing this. As someone who hasn't been particularly excited by the VR releases the last couple of years, this looks like a no-brainer insta-buy on day one.

This game has the potential to change the VR landscape entirely. I cannot wait to see how it plays!!!

I love that you guys included a hidden blade for Kassandra as anyone (whose played the quests of Korfu, I think) (edit) with what happened to her broken spear.

Do not expect the same number of VR sales as other ports (PS5,PC) VR is ever growing but still considered niche, and you are doing the Lords work for breathing new life into this fascinating way of playing games - VR. It could have more blood and gore in the fighting but is still awesome

Looks great, I got a Meta Quest 2 for my birthday and I got so excited I was gonna be able to play this

I love this creative director, he knows what was cool about assassins creed and made sure the feeling was in this game, this is the assassins creed I am most excited to play!

The assassin hood "beak" at the top of the screen could be a neat comfort option.

Now we can experience the Animus as Desmond did.

I know he'll probably never read this but anyway, I'll say it, to the guy talking in the video and all of the team responsible for it. You've made an incredible game, one of the best VR games to date, regardless of platform, up there with HL Alyx or Lone Echo. I thank you first of all for not being afraid to let those of us who don't suffer from VR sicknes to enjoy the game as it should be enjoyed, with fast movement, running, climbing to high places, being able to do a leap of faith all the way to the hay and not with a black screen as I was afraid would happen, etc. Everything works as you would expect an AC game to work. There's also tons of accessibility options for those not so lucky, which is great, but the exprience is still pure and 100% AC for those who can handle it. And the game is fantastic, playing this in VR is just next-level if you're an AC fan. Again, congratulations!

I played many Assassin's Creed PC games before 2014, and I had a lot of feelings when I revisited the VR version 10 years later. The dizzy feeling when standing at a high place and the feeling of weightlessness when falling are so real. The feeling of using both hands together during parkour and wielding the hidden blade and weapons is exciting. The scene is grand, but there is little interaction with NPCs and a lack of side tasks, resulting in a single gameplay. Overall, it is an excellent VR work! ! !

I really do hope the expand upon Nexus instead of it being a one and done deal. Maybe we can get other assassins like Arno or Edward. Hell even new ones. It’ll be cool and has so much potential. VR is the closest to the Animus we have, for now 😂 This showcase MAKES ME MORE HYPED!!! As if I’m note hyped already 😂 also love they have all these features for those who aren’t 100% comfortable in VR. From flatscreen to being there, can really show how daunting it is.

The combat looks very good. I feel like this game will gives me a lot of motion sickness but I am looking forward to it. The game overall looks very promising.

Love to see all the comfort features to deal with motion sickness. One way to deal with it and have the most immersion is to stop on a rooftop every 10 min. or so and take a 2 min. break where you pick a high focal point miles away and focus your gaze there for 2 minutes. This will settle down any nausea that may start to come on. I did this with Horizon Call of the Mountain and it was very effective.

Looks really promising. Shame it's a Quest exclusive. PCVR and PSVR2 players no doubt would have picked this up. I know i would have.

Well ya got me, i had a ton of doubt when i first heard of this, and up until this video there was still an inkling there, but seeing this I feel like this may actually end up one of the best vr games of the year, looking forward to picking it up

I wish there was a option for a little more gore like blood to be enabled, I always like that feel of feeling ruthless with my kills. other then that Amazing work Ubisoft

Can’t wait for Connor, also idk if it’s just me but doesn’t the Connor gameplay’s FOV look a bit higher than the others? Not complaining though it looks AWESOME!! Can’t wait to do badass combat like in ACIII

Assassin's Creed's setting and gameplay are MEANT for VR, AND it could allow for a return to form for the series as VR games are plenty entertaining whilst still being slow and methodical. In my personal case, that's only exciting horizon for the franchise.

Meta Quest is definitely the place to play VR games. PSVR2 was my first headset and blew my socks off, but the lack of exclusive AAA games is unfortunate. I’ll have to switch to Meta and sell the Sony VR

It would be *AWESOME* if we got different outfits to unlock. Even if it's just 2 for each character. Like Connor having Shay's outfit and his Wolfskin DLC outfit, and Ezio having Altair's and old Ezios, and etc. Customisation would definitely be a neat feature in the second one (should the rumors be true) ESPECIALLY if it's true that AC Black Flag era is getting put into VR. Ship battles in VR with Connors outfit on Edward would be sick

The option to choose between manual and automated parkour is great and something future games should implement

The accessibilty features look super interesting! I am happy that you put a lot of thought into that.

This game is exactly what i hoped it would be. The problem with vr that i have is that when you are doing melee combat, it's a long of swinging and doesn’t feel as cool or smooth as normal gaming combat, but they've made it really intuitive so you will hopefully really feel like a proper sword fighter. The parkour is also really intuitive and looks fun and smooth. Can't wait to play!

Oooo I can already tell we're gonna get some crazy kill montages or some sick parkour videos. Can't wait for this

This genuinely looks fantastic. As a VR junkie I've been praying for a full-length AAA VR game for a long time. Regardless of the gameplay quality or how it runs on the Quest 2, I'm excited to play Nexus when it comes out.
