Honestly drifter, I love these styles of videos. An honest review, a good grading system, and funny clips throughout. Gives me Habie147 vibes and I love it. Hope to see more of these videos!
Your presentation of this game review is extremely satisfying . I finally get to match the voice to an actual person. You go in depth with what you felt was right and wrong with the game, but still made comments that lead people to find their own path with liking the game. The combat is an issue for me as well, but as a first time vr version of the series it was done well. Hopefully they take all players comments and make an even better sequel. It’s been 1 month, but yes it is AMAZING, for me atleast theres barely any bugs and the realism inside of here WHILE INSIDE A quest 3 STAND-ALONE HEADSET IS INSANE, its not a huge map but enough to have tons of fun :D
I think it adds to the immersion, because if Ezio a master assassin who has been using the throwing knives since he was young missed, it would feel pretty weird

So same price, and AAA games here are all 89.99$ BEFORE tax. around 104$ after tax (AC Shadows, Spiderman 2, So on). AC nexus is definitely fairly priced for the work put into it compared to other titles

I do agree with you and know you in no way called the game bad but I didn’t expect much from the combat anyway. I mostly stealth my way through the game except like you noted boss fights but they’re pretty rare. I most enjoy being creative with the stealth trying tricks and using ranged weapons as melee assassination weapons. You called the ai stupid on multiple occasions but it is the same in almost all assassins creed games and ac games aren’t very well known for there combat. I would have liked the combat to be different and wonder how they might be able to incorporate finishers into the game as that would be sick
I loved that. The dude on the left that turns and looks, like he's about to say "Well, damn, that was uncalled for". It's just hilarious how casual he turns to look after that dude got seriously split down the cranium.
I wish the game was set up more like the first couple of games with freeroam open world with loading zones like Asgard's wrath 2. I hated getting taken out of the world and having to select a mission. Also if you have more than one save, it kept taking me to the mission the 2nd save was at.

I feel like fun should be like 40% cuz i played nomad for years before moving to pcvr and that has 0% on Aesthetics and immersion. never the less great video
I appreciate the review, and i agree the combat is far from good. The reason i love this game tho is i just love AC so being in the world and being some of my fav assassins just feels great, and i just love the hidden blades and the way you activate them. I had alot of fun with this game, and hope the sequel improves on combat and ai
@@DownloadableContent fair enough, it’s possible they just re use the mechanics and make a new story with new assassins or whatever, but I hope they do upgrade atleast the combat . By the way, they started making a sequel before nexus even released
Hey, I know it’s not the game in the video, but do you know how to make sheath framework for B&S behave correctly? I saw your recent video, and it worked fine with no clipping for you, but for me there’s a ton of wobble and clipping.
Honestly the combat is passable looking at the fight clips you used it’s just seems like you were to close alot of ai in vr fight games tend to lose their minds when your to close not only that but ur just kind flaling your arms around
The basic interaction of touching surfaces with your hands, weapons etc feels really bad to me in this game and since this is ubisoft and not some indie dev i dont believe that they have an excuse to not have this basic aspect down. Boneworks and bonelab feel far better and their developers are no where near as massive as ubisoft. It really kills the immersion for me. Youre hands slide all over and get stuck in objects and theres no haptic feedback for touching (not grabbing) a surface or object like there is in half life alyx.
This is the worst game I ever bought. It can't even load a save file. I took a video and posted it on RU-vid case you don't believe it. It's totally trash
I skipped this one because the combat looks bad af. A tripple A dev team that cant program a physical combat system? Hell no! Typical Ubisoft only cares about how it looks not how it plays/feels They should have paid fonzie for the Battle Talent code. But Ubisoft stopped caring about what players want after Unity anyway so.. HARD SKIP (for me)
actually can’t stand this game there is no freedom how it is played unlike any other vr game every kill feels scripted and animated like it was a regular game you can’t grab someone stab them in the back and then just drag them away you stab them and then they die you let go then they become a texture which is not interactable unless you grab it combat is so unbelievably easy hits a put in slow motion so you can literally fall asleep and wake up before they even swing parkour feels weightless and goofy i seriously can’t find a thing i like about this game
