Assassin's Creed Origins in 4K - BEST Open World Graphics 2017 

I spent 30 minutes watching 3 woman make clay on this game, so much detail

I just love visiting ancient temples in this game you can see how old the temples are. These ancient ruins are so old that even Bayek calls it ancient, that's just so amazing to me.

World in this game is much more alive than ac odessey. Everyone in odessey seems depressed af.

The architecture is done to perfection - the temples, the statues. I'm so impressed! The work that they have put into this is absolutely amazing, it looks stunning - and the 4K definitely helps... wow.

Man saves your life from a croc you repay him by firing a flaming arrow at his boat.

I've played all AC games and completed them, this is the best AC in my opinion. It has a very high replay value. It is just so beautiful!

This game is amazing and made me eat my words. The game looks great in 4k, but it plays great, even the combat is better than I thought it would be. I have to say up until this, Zelda Breath of the Wild was the best open world I'd played in. But AC Origins is better just in how diverse and organic the open world is. One of the biggest disappointments in ZBOTW was the inability to swim underwater. In this game, not only can you swim under water, you can fight under water. The world is alive, everything interacts with everything else, animals don't just attack you, they attack everything. I fell in love with this game and it beat out Shadow of War for a game that can keep me coming back. Shadow of War got boring and stale for both me and my friends, but this game gives you so much more to do, where Shadow of War gives you scripted things to do over and over, it's the same gameplay that you really can't divert from. For me, AC Origins is the best game I've played in some times. I got it on my PC running a GTX 1080, I may get it again on the Xbox One X once it's delivered as well.

Such a shame this game was terribly underrated. Probably because of Ubisoft's reputation. I'm sure this could have won GOTY if people ignored it's a Ubisoft game.

Honestly, this is the most realistic open world I have ever seen in any game. Even more immersive than Red Dead Redemption, Witcher 3 or Horizon Zero Dawn. Ubisoft crafted a true masterpiece without realizing it!

I've played every AC since its release in 2007. I'm about 15 hours into AC Origins and the dev team did not disappoint. I play on the Xone S and it looks great but after seeing this...shit man I think its time to upgrade. Great vid Massive🐫

One cool moment I had in the game was when I was hopping from building to building in Alexandria and then jump down into a courtyard where there were kids sitting on the ground and a teacher in front of them teaching and writing things on a board, and in another corner of the courtyard, a similar scene except with adults. ALSO a must do in the game that just amazed me when I did it is to travel from the south port of Alexandria by boat, traveling down the Nile (or in this case, upstream of the Nile) towards Memphis, but you have to depart just before the sun begins to set. Then you travel at boost speed, arriving in Memphis at night and then traveling westward through the upper stream/canal of Memphis. The scenery you see of the Nile at sunset and then the misty canals of Memphis at night are simply stunning and worth the journey.

The hawk ally is a nice touch. I know Far Cry Primal did that and it was a, shall we say, "lore friendly" way to give you a better view of the land and your enemies while still maintaining your immersion. Great video Massive!

This was such a beautiful game. And a pure joy to play, too. I didn't particularly enjoy Unity or Syndicate so I was kind of out in the cold for a few years between Black Flag and Origins. Rogue was alright but Ubisoft almost lost me on Assassin's Creed there for awhile. Then this came along. WELCOME BACK TO ME!!!

I played this game in medium graphics but still was awestruck when i saw the desert for first time and pyramids. . the game changer was desert hallucinations. .iliterally got goosebumps

In therms of an open world, of a live place, of a technologycal masterpiece, I think AC origin even surpasses Witcher 3. But in therms of story telling, of an true RPG that really embraces you and make you care about each character, Witcher 3 still unreachable!!

I was never a fan of AC games, only played Unity and Syndicate. But when I bought and played Origins, I was blown by its world and gameplay. It has now become one of my fave games of all time.

I honestly think people like this game over odysses and Valhalla simply because the world of ancient Egypt is so breathtakingly beautiful and we all have the image of Egypt ingrained in our heads from history. And ubisoft REALLY made you feel like you were there. I dont think as many people are drawn to ancient greece and Europe. There are not enough memorable landmarks such as the nile river, the pyramids of giza, the great sphinx. I like ancient greece I think the world was beautiful as well. But alot of the same assests were ported over from origins and if you played both games, it didnt feel so fresh which is why I think people were not as impressed with odysses copy and paste like gameplay. Sure we can go into alot of other things that they changed for the better or worse, but its the immersion of world and when we first saw origins, and explored what we had a small imagination of in our minds, it really brought that imagination to life.

For those of you that don't know, that music is from Peter O'Toole's finest film "Lawrence Of Arabia". Well done, well done.

I used to watch these 4k HDR videos, now i can easily play any of these games on my on rig and i can easily say its 100% worth it to play in 4k HDR at 100+ fps

I’m so late to comment but this is honestly the best AC out of all of them. The details , the map is massive with so much interesting places to explore especially the tombs are awesome. The combat is so refreshing and fun and challenging. No ever game can do Egypt better than Ubisoft. I’m one of the biggest AC fans ever man. This game had me in awe almost the whole time. I enjoyed this game so damn much I tried avoiding the main quests sometimes because I just wanted to defog Egypt and explore

I was amazed by the graphic fidelity of Uncharted 4, Horizon Zero Dawn and Final Fantasy XV. And now, i can say that this game surpasses all of them. Not only because of the quality. Because of how alive the whole world of Assasins Creed Origins is. I play on a 4k Samsung tv (not HDR) with a ps4 pro.

Older AC games always had a kind of 'graininess' for lack of a better word, they seem to have finally gotten rid of that, it looks so sharp even on my lower end pc.

I'm watching this video on my Macbook pro, and playing this game on PS4. The difference is really night & day.

I love this game but I just don’t understand the point of them adding some the areas of the map such as the desert areas on the outskirts of the map. There is literally nothing to do out there. Just a whole lot of space with no unknown location and no missions. I love this game but I feel like they could’ve done utilized some areas of the map more .

I love this game as well. I had lost faith in the Assassin's Creed franchise after the London one. This game surprised me, and I could not wait to go back and play it.

Ubisoft just bombed the open world gaming genre with this. Except the god awful combat ACO is a work of art.

After Senu, i don't want to use Eagle Vision again in any future AC. Senu is just awesome and the freedom of flying over cities and objectives is better than any eagle vision system they'll come up with. So that's something that AC Origins might've made it a challange for any future AC game.

Love open world games, especially RPGs. There were a couple of good ones for some years now tho. Horizon Zero Dawn, Skyrim, Witcher 3, Watch Dogs 2 (TALKING about the city of San Francisco), Assassins Creed Origins, Black Flag (could have been bigger and better), Syndicate. Legend of Zelda, GTA 5 ( the reason why open world games are now a must for many developers). And more!

ACO is EASILY the BEST Assassins Greed game period. Playing this game at 4K/60FPS is a massively better experience than any past Assassins Greed game by a mile (most folks frame of ref is at 1080p/30fps so consider this when you hear others say "X" is The Best Assassins Greed game...) Speaking of which... If you want to play ACO at 4K/60FPS you're going to need a pretty powerful rig.. For example, my PC has the following specs: I7-8700K (4.8GHZ OC'D) EVGA GTX FTW3 1080Ti (2025MHZ) Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR4 RAM 3600MHZ 1TB Samsung EVO Pro SSD EVGA 850W G2 Gold Rated PSU I can play ACO at 4K/60FPS for sure BUT not with ALL graphics MAXED out. Regardless, even though some things need to be changed from say "Very High" to "High" or from "Ultra" to "Very High" the game still looks and plays amazingly well with the above described specs. This idea that you have to run everything on "Ultra" is utterly absurd as the game and games in general still generally look really nice on the Very High or High presents, etc.. From the looks of it the guy who posted this video likely has a setup very similar to mine but probably running MAX graphics for everything. This is why you see the dropped frames. He needs to drop the graphics settings a bit to get a solid 60FPS and doing so really doesn't dramatically change how the game looks in the least. Again, were not talking going from "Ultra" to "Low" or even "Medium" just from "Very High" to "High" on some things. I

i just hope the next AC is in japan or china it would be so nice to be like a ninja with samurais and very cool weapons

AC origins saved this franchise from being too receptive and boring. AC Origins is ground breaking in terms of open world design. Mind blowing just mind blowing! Awesome work Ubisoft; take notes Bethesda with regards to how you should restore your fan following.

I own a regular Ps4 and just bought a 4K TV and I feel like a lot of the graphics are garbage now which I didn't feel on my old HD TV. I now get a transparent distortion surrounding my character, I see trees flickering like crazy! It is driving me nuts!

I think it looks so good because the main two colors u see are the yellowish/tan and blue. Two good contrary colors where everywhere u go u see them.

one thing assassins creed never fixes is it's game pacing. it always starts strong and then you're just rinse and repeating over and over.

Ghost Recon Wildlands also deserves some attention cuz has an epic openworld map

The game is so much better because ubisoft was so impressed by the witcher 3 "which they should be" that they were inspired to make a better game for themselves and borrowed some of the story telling and game mechanics from the witcher "which is awesome".

I have played all Assassin's Creed games since the first one (I think I missed Rogue because Unity was coming). I play in HD, not in 4K yet so I don't know if some of the issues I mention only apply to HD but I doubt it. This ACO game is great, really but it still has some bugs here & there, the NPC ending discussions & transitions can sometime feel a bit weird and not as polished as some games we have seen lately so hopefully they fix this. The bow system could be improved: I personally prefer the HZD bow system where it fires when you release the R2 button.. Also they could add rumble with bow like in HZD, BotW... As said, I still love the game !
