IMO, the best OST of an AC game, because Jesper Kyd in this one, manages to give a sense of maturity to the tracks, showing his growing experience and maybe learned lessons from past AC OSTs. It also feels that it composed giving a goodbye to AC saga.
The game wasn't my favourite of the series, the gameplay felt a bit repetitive and the bombs and the dens weren't such interesting additions, but man, the soundtrack and the atmosphere of Istanbul were incredible. I remember climbing the Galata tower and looking at the cityscape at sunset.
Istanbul is a beautiful city. I remember when I was there, at the Sultanamet district between the Hagia Sophia and where the Blue Mosque now stands. The mosque hadn’t been built yet when the game takes place, but I was astonished to see that the two pillars which had been in Sultanamet were the same ones which appear in the Hippodrome in-game - the one with Egyptian writing and the one the Janissaries would challenge each other to climb. They’re still there.
@@FreemanicParacusia I'm living in the Istanbul and i can confirm :) b Buildings are really looks like it's originals. But i find a fail, which is, I'm at sequence 6. My friend told me there is Maiden's Tower in the game too. But that tower made in 1720's lol. Little details. P.S: The orange fog made me angry so i disabled it, now i'm better.
I played this game in December 2014/January 2015 and I like it but I didn't appreciate it as much as AC2 and Brotherhood. I'm about to finish this game once again and all I have is superlatives now, I don't know what changed. I maybe like it even more than Brotherhood now. I love the connection between Altair and Ezio. Puzzles are amazing. City is interesting, bombs are fun, whole economy and law system is even better than than AC2 and Bro. Maybe just main story is not that awesome but it's still very solid.
This music always hits different after experiencing each of Altair's flashbacks... Feels like they intentionally added an extra layer of sadness, I love it!
As a Greek this music gives me goosebumps.. So much history.. So many people died for their empires. So many brave men in history lost in the centuries
Fellow turk here, an istanbulian if you will 😅 it gets me melancholic when i tour around the old city, to think so many men died for this place and to see how they're butchering history now, it makes me wish things were different, that we could see the real value of things and respect the heritages instead of fighting over who owns it. Don't know about greece but i get doubly sad when i consider istanbul's future. At least i can imagine how it was in its glory with this wonderfull music, peace.
@@bekirkl4658 Nice to hear that. In reality we have nothing to do with all those things. They belong to the past. Its just that everyone view the history on their own side. Its pointless to fight. I wish you a nice year my friend!
who are the 8 idiots who dont like this beautiful piece of music? anyone listening to this in lockdown to relax and remain calm in this overwhelming time?
I remember the first time I used my Turtle Beach headset on my PS3 to play this game this song was playing, and it blew my mind In retrospect those headphones were overpriced bass boosted trash, but to my teenage self who was used to crappy CRT TV speakers, this was mindblowing.
"That is not a legal move." "A European variant. It is called Castling." "Interesting. But not exactly fair when you play by different rules than your opponent." "You may think differently...once you become Sultan."
This song is so sad because it represents the death of an Empire. The setting of the western sun and the rise of the east. From that moment Europe would never again have a foothold in the east and the Romans officially die out
Dear Jesper Kyd. When I publish Kuroko's Knife series and when I make a game or film, I will hire you for work and give your pay how much you want. You are BEST ❤💐
And i got this game back again!...EVEN IF IT'S ON NINTENDO SWITCH And i'd never got to finish that challenge or had a good defend against the city when i cost too much trouble in there and the templars be taking it back and i have to kill them again to retake the city back lol! Yeah like I said fun game AND HEY ISN'T THERE ANOTHER ASSASSIN'S CREED GAME COMING OUT THIS YEAR?(2023)
Polish Friend Oh, you said "to that music from a/the game". Correct way of saying it would be "Bu müzik bir oyundan geliyor". P.S. It's a line said repeatedly in the game.
