Ubisoft, needs to take a break for a few years and give the Assassin's Creed series a much-needed reboot. Focus on new mechanics, animations, and a fresh storyline. We need a game that feels like a true evolution of the series
Breaks don't earn revenue. This isn't about what's morally right for the company or gamers. Investors and executives don't care about community or quality. They see x financial input and expect x output. That's the real game. More time is spent into marketing how to make a game sell well than just making a game that's good. A game that appeals to a broad audience will always outsell a game that's made to appeal to a niche audience. That's been their direction for over a decade now. Its been the direction for 90% of AAA studios because this is just what happens when any company gets too big and gets to capitalise.
@@Yespapiii their stocks have tanked recently, probably a lot to do with this, micro transactions etc, but it’s very telling that it’s happened now with the controversy of this game happening
The game looks fine, but I think it’s mainly affected by the fact Ubisoft never does anything that different from other games in the series. Along with absurd pricing and also after a year or so you can get the entire deluxe edition from anywhere from $20-30.
At this point i just dont give a damn anymore, ill just play it and give my own opinion, tired of all people hating even tho no one played it yet. I was a hayer myself but bro im done
Ye, its not like odyssey, valhalla and star wars outlaws were mid at best, shadows will be next gen (released right after early ps4 looking star wars outlaws)

@@rondelek7153 its actually not the same price but price is irrelevant in Ubisoft games they usually make big promotions, and yes was suposed to be a DLC that dont chance nothing the game still's good
So, they were sued, the stock price has fallen, so why they're still showing this kind of trailer? As i expected, they're making people do this so they buy again at cheap price.
Ubisoft needs to stop showing their Ubisoft logo in their games and instead start to promote their dev teams much more with their logos to make sure people stop talking about Ubisoft and concentrate on specific dev teams instead.
Ubisoft should make stand alone games, shoehorning every game into the Assassin´s Creed name and lore actually hinders them from making better games or innovating the formula. How can this be related to the Vikings, Greeks, Egyptians, and Medieval Conspiracies... Also the whole "present" aspect of AC is very bad and just takes you out of the actual game that you care about.
I agree with this completely i think it could free up story writing while utilizing tech from assassins creed could make for some pretty good games (so long as they stay away from modern agendas) but I also think that a modern assassins creed or at least think a late 20 early 21 century game would could be but that because I liked what the did with Desmond and kinda wanted a game where he was the assassin you played as
Aside from the flip looking a little awkward, it looks pretty good. Really intersted to see how the weather system works. My only concern is it'll be absolutely riddled with bugs on launch.
Im buying this game just to check out the stunning nature and if it has seasonal change as you come back in different timeframe, the place change to different season then that will be a bonus as it offer realism and wont be boring. Secondly the combat moves looks sophisticated and non repetitive to allow more diversity and replayable value. Hope to see it in November after i finish my Wukong Blackmyth
Meh not interested in this PS4 game. A bunch of CGI cutscenes trying to mask the jank and trick us into thinking it’s not going to be like Outlaws. I’m good bro I’ll save my $130 and spend it on games like Crimson Desert AND Phantom Blade Zero. $130 for 1 bad game or same amount of money for 2 badass games.
Not only ubisoft, but the majority of modern games suffer the same sick. They are totally generics. The same gameplay, physics, conversation, scenario interaction as like you had in ps2 age games. but in the past you paid around 50$, today you pay over 100$.

They’re late. AC series died a long time ago. We already got this game since the PS4/PC. it was called Ghost of Tsushima. This is now a wanna be. Unfortunate that they are trying to catch up. They to really sell it with a good story and amazing gameplay. But then again this is Ubisoft we’re talking about.

@@jondombiGOT was a beta, this is the real thing. Furthermore Valhalla sold more than any other AC game so the series is far from dead. Also GOT took from AC
graphic is okay but the combat a bit meh. they should adopt combat mechanics like in Ghost in Tsushima or Sekiro. It don't need to be souls like but must be fluid and beautiful. the game language should use Japanese language as default not english.
My top 3 games this generation for graphics world and fun factor are demon souls, ac valhalla and kena on ps5, this is by far my most wanted game of a decade and looks like the true evolution to black flag for environmental effects, I rate games be graphical art style and replay factor and generally fun to play as those top my list as my most play time spent over the few years Iv had them....

Everyone hating on Ubisoft for being political but if you don’t care about politics why can’t you just enjoy this game? Yeah, maybe a japaneese samurai would have been more authentic but i’m not letting this take the fun out of it and so should anyone else. Yasuke is a man of honor as he is depicted in theese trailers and as I see it in this setting the other samurais are all corrupted (and we know this actually happened). Maybe the only way to save a contry that is full of curruption is with the help of an outsider. And why is this wrong? Stop complaining for not getting the story YOU think is better and enjoy this because who knows? Maybe it’s a damn fun game. And about the movements of the characters… there are still 2 months untill launch. I know it’s Ubi but have a little faith. All I want is to enjoy a game (an AC especially) and that’s all. And as I see, this game is really going somewhere. Everyone is comparing it with GOT. THE EVENTS IN GOT HAPPENED 300 YEARS EARLYER!!! Just because this one is in Japan too doesn’t mean it tryes to copy GOT. You asked for this for years and when you finally get it you are complaining. Yeah, we get it… maybe there are things that are not historically accurate but hey, guess what… IT’S A GAME, A WORK OF FICTION!!! doesn’t seem bad to me at all its different and i like Japanese culture people gonna complain either way i feel they would be more pressed if they keep making the same game like madden so hey I’m buying its a different experience and story.
