r2c123 Yes you can, you more or less make a new game, with some recycled assets (same/similar story, reused audio files, etc, plus recycled assets from other AC games). This game is old, it needs updates in level design, side missions, combat, stealth, AI, world design, pretty much everything honestly. It needs to be rebuilt from the ground up. Why not do that to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the series?

While it's not that much of an improvement, it still looks pretty good and I'm excited to play it again. I'm also glad to see they actually took into consideration some stuff that was said, for example the roofs being too bright at night, it looks much better now.

Don't think it is that big of an improvement, for sure it looks better, especially ACII, it benefits a lot from the remaster, lighting, slightly better shadows and textures along with better draw distance as well and other stuff (and of course the upgrade from 720p to 1080p). Brotherhood and Revelations, while they look slightly better, it's not as noticeable, and it also looks like the improvement is bigger because the comparison is between PS3 and PS4, if you played on PC at max settings the difference wouldn't be that much, I just think they could've done a bit better, especially considering they targeted 30fps instead of 60, but that's just my opinion. Don't get me wrong though - I'm not hating, quite the opposite, I'm actually happy and excited it's coming on PS4 and I've pre-ordered it : ^)

+William Rowe Absolutely, without a doubt this trilogy is one of the best I have ever played. Loved the story, the gameplay (and still do even though some people might say it has aged a bit) and everything really. If you can you should totally get it, for me the best games in the series, even though Black Flag is also pretty good :)

Yeah it gave the city that unique feel that we're used to but kinda also made it look blurry and washed out. I don't know how I feel about it but I suppose we'll have to wait until we play the Ezio Collection.

It's called Depth of Field. Intentionally blurring the background a bit looks nicer. Clarity isn't always superior.

Cobra Gaming AC2 and Revelations are my favorites. I enjoyed Black Flag alot and loved Syndicate. AC1 was ok and I hated AC Brotherhood and AC3 with a passion. I did love Multiplayer on Brotherhood though, was ranked 37 of the world.

I hate that game. Terrible gameplay and terrible story. Bad mechanics. Bad game design. Terrible story telling with so much exposition. It's just ridiculously bad. I'm actually surprised it gets as much love as it does by certain people.

With all the money that you are going to make from the Ezio Remaster collection, can you please consider using it to "remake" the actual Ezio Collection, and maybe even remake Assassin's Creed 1. As in update the games graphics, parkour and fighting mechanics, enemy a.i. , with the newest latest and greatest Anvil engine? A lot of people really still care about the earlier Assassin's Creed games. Come on Ubisoft you are sitting at the end of the rainbow on a pot of gold here, and you don't even know it.

Why is everyone here still disapointed about how it looks? It looks great tbh. You have to keep in mind that these are 3 remastered open world games. So you could expect it to look not as good as you're fucking cod remastered.

GhastlyCloud 775 Tbh it wouldn't be. If you haven't played the ezio trilogy this is the best you can get. You get all the bonus content for only 50 bucks. If you would buy that now it would cost you 60. So it's a good thinkg. And i play everything ac so yeah i already pre orderd it. Because it is ezio and i replay the ezio collection at least once each year.

ThePaypay88 yea what's your point here? the geometry is identical and the textures are identical just at a higher resolution which means it looks like the pc version. the reason you think it looks better is because they changed the lighting model and they are comparing sub hd images to hd images...of course it will look better. I didn't say they made zero improvement but they haven't done much. they took the pc version, spruced up a couple things and that's it. it's still going to be the same clunky game... why waste your money? omg the lighting is better and they extended draw distances! I'm telling you pc on max settings is the same as this. the reason it looks different is because of the LIGHTING It's amazing what a change in lighting to real time can do. it can make a game look alot better. still.....I own these games already. why buy them again just for slightly better visuals? why? it's the same game with the same animations, static meshes, world and character model geometry....waste of money just play the old one again even if you don't own them they cost like $5 for console used or the same on g2a

d0x360 Its not really a waste of money, in my eyes. I own all the games, I dont own any of the DLC for the Ezio Games, and the amount of PS3 exclusive DLC they made is now available on both consoles. My 360 is dying, meaning the only Ezio game I can play without the hassle of setting my half dead 360 up, is 2, due to backwards compatibility. And not only that, when 2 is played on a HD screen, it looks VERY aged. This up in overall resoloution and texture resoloution (which have a higher fidelity than the PC'S texture resoloutions) make for a better expirence. Add that, with Brotherhood and Revelations, which are on par with 2 IMO, with all their DLCS (and not much improvement, albeit) for £30- £40. That's a great deal, I think.

Chris ZT too subtle for my taste. i have a PS4 and i hates how ubisoft waste their oppotunity to actually upgrade the graphic to whole new level. if i install sweetfx i bet i'd have the same look as this so-called 'remastered'. look at return to arkham or COD4 remastered for example. these 2 games actually set a standard for 'remastered' i may buy return to arkham even though i have PC version already because it was great improvement.but i won't buy this game again on my PS4.

Ezio's robe actually looks better and more detailed. And render distance has improved a lot. I still hate the fact that all textures in Assassin's Creed 2 on PC render properly on distance of 2 in game meters.

From watching the video, the main takeaway is it's the same game code with the same assets. The only difference is to a handful of textures and shaders. Not so much "remastered" as "ported"/"recompiled".

Assassin's Creed 2 looks absolutely stunning, can't believe the PS3 version looked that bad, I remember it looking way better.

I know its still 30 but is the FRAMERATE improved? Very poor job on ps3 runs at like 20 lol

Looks mostly like different saturation, some improved textures, and sharpening in the older games, Revelations didn't look all that different to me. That said I loved those games and if you've never played them I'd jump on it.

There is a big difference in the Assassin's Creed II, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, but Assassin's Creed Revelations has not changed much, and the fact that I see Modern Warfare Remastered much better

It depends entirely whether or not you have played them all or not and if you've played them Thoroughly. Same reason most people won't rebuy Skyrim.

จิรายุทธ พ่อค้า really? Return to Arkham wasn't that good of a remaster at all IMO . Plus this is 60$ for 3 games + Dlc. Only thing that confuses me is why their releasing same day as Watch Dogs 2.

Tony Marini and you call this 'good'? return to arkham offer same lighting quality and texture as arkham knight. rain effect on batman suit. very high texture upgrade which is very sharp. i still feel bad about how it doesn't change gameplay core to arkham knight level but the graphic are actually better by a miles in Asylum. this so-called remastered is as good as PC when you turn max setting and put some colorful sweetfx on it. go look for some vids and tell me it doens't look like 'remastered' version.

Halokiller38 people who don't rebuy skyrim is their own choice. i already have it for free on PC since i bought legendary edition on steam long ago. and i'm glad i have it because the possibility from mod have been expanded thanks to 64 bit engine and stable mod is coming.

When are we going to get on the PS4 (on disc) - Assassin's Creed - Assassin's Creed III - Assassin's Creed III: Liberation Maybe Ubisoft could make another collection on disc for PS4 and call it Assassin’s Creed The Kenway Collection and have: - Assassin's Creed III - Assassin's Creed III: Liberation - Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag - Assassin's Creed: Rogue That would only leave - Assassin's Creed left for remastering on the PS4.

Basically just this,if they added something new to this game we would buy,but it's the same old history,Ubisoft should make prince of persia games again,loved these.
