I love the game but the really bad thing it brought to us is, now everyone watches Vikings and think they are experts now when they actualy know shit about old norse culture. Truth is, if you do not study the language (old norse, both forms) in addition to proto-germanic AND read all the eddas and study germanic and nordic historie, you know nothing.

IKR, hopefully Ubisoft will realize their mistake and add 1 hand swords in an update. And NO, I’m not holding my breath in anticipation. But we can dream right? And a Claymore is a Scottish 2 handed sword, fyi.

Small thing I noticed running a poison build. If you have the Grit perk what happens is poison ticks trigger grit meaning each slap you get you see your HP get back up a bit. have been running that helps a lot with bosses that block but do take some poison build up perks as bosses resist more

Best Dual shield combo in my eyes is the Morrigans Guard and the Sarcophagus Shield. Then every pary can trigger fire or poison aoe.

Honestly, I am not a fan of these situational perks. These become less useful when fighting 1 on 1 bosses. I, much rather have perks that are not situational. So for example, I prefer: > Increases X stat by X amount and it raises the more targets you hit (last a long time) or surround you. This way it's always useful. And to be honest, I find the perks in AC:Odyssey much more fun than these boring perks. I just got a rune that gave a boring dodge stat at NIGHT! Why the hell handicaps me to play at night, I don't even like the nighttime. So that rune was sold ASAP. My request to Ubisoft is, make more PLAYER POWER type perks and stop with those situational perks. Hope someone can share this type of feedback with Ubisoft. Not too late to change/ patch things and prevent this boring stuff from creeping into DLC.

Thoroughly agree. So many of these perks are virtually worthless. A stacking buff that reaches 10 stacks, but stacks only last 2 seconds? That's barely enough time to finish a heavy finisher and attack again. If the enemy is any distance away from you, those stacks are gone. If you get hit once, those stacks are gone. If you parry, those stacks are gone. If you hit a blocking target, those stacks are gone. All these "when surrounded by 3 or more enemies" are virtually worthless as well, as the most significant time you'll be surrounded by many enemies is a raid. Outside of that, most enemies patrol in groups of 3 *at most*. This is a perk that is specifically for when failing - that is, when you succeed (killing enemies), this perk goes away. Don't even get me started on the major runes. Those are a huge disappointment... and you can't even inspect them to find out how their effects trigger and what bonuses they provide? Yikes.

Because an RPG should have fun, player power perks and yes OMG major runes are soooo BORING and don't feel MAJOR at all. I got a major rune that gave dodge at NIGHT. First, you gave me a boring stat increase and then you handicap me to nighttime! Major runes should have a fun, MAJOR player power increase. Example: Major rune of Thor: You attacks are now charged with lighting, each strike has a chance to ignite a bolt of thunder at your target dealing heavy damage as elemental (thunder) damage. That's a cool major rune. Also, Excalibur was a letdown LOTS of work for a meh perk. Just a silly blind. I would prefer a high damage perk for all that work. Hope someone can share this type of feedback with Ubisoft. Not too late to change/ patch things and prevent this boring stuff from creeping into DLC.

@@BetterTagsWereTaken And ooh ya also, what you said, about the perk duration, I 100% agree. 2 sec is nothing. Me, as a normal player I was NEVER able to build or maintain 10 stacks. There are so many things that can ruin that VERY short stack window. Stackable perks should have at least 6 or 8 sec duration, so most players can work with it. I was dual-wielding the attack on hit axe and the speed on hit axe. But ya 2-sec window is just way too punishing.

You can equip your lieutenant for your long boat with armor and they will receive the armor set bonus as well as weapon bonuses.

Usually I would try and do all the side stuff first in an AC game, or most of it. But since in this game you get thor's stuff and Odin's weapon at the end (main story and order kills) I've decided I'll do that so I've actually got content to use them on. Instead of getting them and all that's left is running around killing people for no reason.

Spartan bow from the store costs 100 ubisoft points but Increases crit chance by 30 for 2.5 seconds when dodging its op for dodge and hit build. Also wear -weight runes on armor so u can dodge more. I can dodge 8 times ez then attack someone to regain stamina

Hopefully Ubisoft will make an update soon that allows us to change gear appearances to the way there where before upgrading them. I want the origianl raven gear back 😔

How do you get weapon perks to show you exact numbers? I think my game just shows like increased crit, not a value. Thanks.

*possible location spoiler* Does anyone know if you can ever bring the armor/weapons from Vinland back to England? Personally I find them to be a really unique set and (despite them not having set bonuses) I would love to wear them around England.

Raptor i have a problem with one of the bossfight its against the lowest ranked witch i startet it when i had power level 15 and died 5 times after that i could not start it again so i leveled and did other thing i am now power level 310 but still i am not able to start the fight to u have a solution which could help?
