GamerOnQuack As cool as Nagisa is and quite frankly makes me question my self as a dude. I'd beg to differ. In many armies, especially in Special forces, Takaoka's methods as cruel as they are, are not that foreign to Spec ops training. Notable example's are from Hell Week in the Philippine Scout Rangers and the US Special Forces. There is even a section that has a torture sim to make the recruit understand NOT to get captures by the enemy. And a note worth mentioning; In PH Scout Rangers at the end of the training they will be sent off to a combat zone in Mindanao to fight actual rebel/terror groups some don't even make it alive or retire because of injury. In this story however, Takaoka may take things a little too far, maybe. And due to his instability, one would wonder how he got in the JSDF in the first place. Hell, he even bothered to take revenge against junior high kids because he was butt hurt that they were mean to him.
+GamerOnQuack seems like a fun kid maybe even more fun to fight he may suck ass at hand to hand but his skills with a blade would make things fun X3 like playing Russian rolet with three bullets X3
+quinton jones haha yeah :P he actually is quite skilled at hand to hand combat though, have you seen the episode where *SPOILER* nagisa and karma fight?
quinton jones Assassins don't necessarily have to be that physically strong. Their job is show up unseen or blend in and eliminate the target and disappear. I haven't seen the second season though. :)
I feel like one thing about this is missed by a lot of people. The first time Nagisa won and fake killed him the way he did caused this guy to become completely mentally unstable, severely neurotic and so hyper fixated that he walked away from his whole life for the CHANCE at fighting a young boy who he wanted to murder in a supposedly fair (because he totally had no advantages) fight without Nagisa being able to do what he was trained (assassinate, not fight). Nagisa wrecked this guys mind the first time. This time? Takaoka will never be a functional human being after this because he will have such severe PTSD and neurosis that he'll probably become catatonic, or at the very least a babbling mess so derealized he wouldn't notice actually getting stabbed. Plus he doesn't seem the type that would be super responsive to someone trying to help him move past it. At this point, Nagisa destroyed this man so badly that Takaoka won't be able to be recognizable. Pretty sure Takaoka would have preferred the death than the life he's going to end up with after this. I dare say, if he's aware enough for long enough, he'll need to be watch really closely so he doesn't do what he wishes Nagisa would have done on that helipad instead. Death would have been a quick end to things. Takaoka will live being tortured by his own mind for the rest of his life after this one. Just saying :P
Not to mention that maybe even the simple smiling faces of children will haunt him as it may remind him of Nagisa. A common everyday face, one worn by students on their way to school, is the same face that haunts Takaoka forever.
Graduation album says that he began worshipping Nagisa as a god after he got released from custody, but after Nagisa spoke to him about this incident he's now considering becoming a monk.
Cheeselord Isthebest well, it's rare, but it does happen occasionally. I've made a new character and beaten much higher lvl characters by knowing the game better...
Nagisa is a fascinating character. On the one hand, he's a sweet, quiet, androgynous looking kid who just wants to put forth his best efforts. On the other hand, the kid can legit go in for the kill and talk himself through it like it's perfectly normal and natural.
@@xnortheast1106 Androgynous is an appearance, not a gender identity. Being androgynous by definition means “partly male and partly female in appearance; of indeterminate sex.” You can be androgynous and a boy.
You know it's kind of funny how Naagisa not killing him might have been worse than killing him because now Takaoka has to live the rest of his life with crippling PTSD The dude probably can't even look at toy comercials without having a mental break down every time a kid smiles on screen lmao
He asked for it, you know, he tried to kill all of nagisa's friends if it wasn't by the actual morale of the hitmen hired for this mission (you know, giving them a weak stomach ache virus instead of a extremely dangerous one by Takaoka)
This is why I love the show so much it's humorous serious and I love the way it portrays exams as battling and you can only kill it when you know the answer it's an awesome anime and I'm really sad that it's finished...
Here’s my opinion on why Nagisa didn’t become an assassin: Yes, he could’ve been one of the best assassins out there no doubt, but it wouldn’t lead to a good future.(in my opinion) He thought about becoming one at first, but then he realized that instead of using his talent to kill , he’ll use it to protect others. Just like how he protected his mother. Yes, someone would get hurt in the process, but it’s better then to kill someone that hadn’t done anything to harm him or any loved ones. My opinion-if you don’t agree with it please just ignore it :)
I agree with you. Despite being as Assassination Classroom, Koro-sensei probably would have believed he failed if any of his students became real assassins.
I have to agree, especially since he looks up to koro sensei and just like him he wanted to use that deadly power to protect and help instead of hurting
bro this is anime do u remember when patrick and spongebob got stuck in sandys tree dome during winter when patrick attempted to open the door he took his breath in and instantly gained a 10 pack and muscles his finishing move "open sesame" couldnt open the door
That's only because Fairy tail lives on that trope. Bleach did it, One Piece does it, Naruto does it, etc. Fairy Tail just took it to the extreme, Nakama power for life and all that.
I love the way,how this scene was made. It's mostly light and dark with a little colors. I love AC,but as an artist I couldn't not to appreciate visuals in this scene 😍
Peanut Kao I think it's because Nagisa sort of has this whole new aura about him, like he's a lot mo4e calm and collected and even has a smirk this time. Other times he was a lot more desperate and you could tell
Anne Jasmine hold the damn phone. I just realized. He fell for the exact same fucking set up. TAKAOKA YOU DUMBASS. What happened the last time he approached you with a calm smile and a knife! That’s right: you got owned. Why the hell are you letting him do that
@Divinidad You can stab someone in the heart and he is 100% dead but the body can still function up to 5 seconds after the stab so those 5 seconds are a window in which you could be killed. A instakill move is a move with a 100% chance to kill but the other person's brain is still active for up to 5 seconds. Thats what I believe he means.
While I loved the series (and manga), here's an unpopular opinion; this kind of move would not work on any professional. Before the screeching starts; professional fighters (especially ones like what Takaoka is supposed to be), do not look at the knife. They look at the entire body all at once specifically because they know this kind of maneuvring can be used. One of the basic-tier ways to use a knife, after all, is to swipe a hand at your target's face to force them to blink and strike while distracted. An actual fighter would not have allowed Nagisa to get up but, even if they had, they woudn't have let Nagisa move forward in that way. An opening is an opening and they get trained to reflexively break the enemy with as little effort as possible. In an actual fight, the moment Nagisa let go of the knife, he'd have found a boot in his chest before getting taken down. So, for the love of whatever you hold dear; never try to pull this off in a fight; if you let go of your weapon, your enemy will not stand there and wait for the clap which, truth be told, would not even make them flinch in any way that can be taken advantage of -if you're in a fight, put your non-dominant side's leg forward, hunch your back, raise your hands, use your center of mass to unbalance the enemy if you can and, here's the important part, keep hitting until they stop moving. Rant, over.
Just as a reminder, the condition that allowed this to work was bone-chilling Fear. Without Fear, the fight goes exactly as you described, less some Takaoka gloating due to instability. But the situation changes when Takaoka is irrationally, traumatically afraid of Nagisa, specifically. He was focused on the knife not because it would be the rational, proper way to handle a fight, as a trained fighter, but because he was deathly afraid that the knife would be in his vitals in short order. The method doesn't work without Takaoka being traumatized by the image of Nagisa with a knife. It also doesn't work on anyone that isn't Takaoka, because only Takaoka has the mental pre-reqs needed.
@@thertsgamer3066 That's the thing though; a trained fighter reacts to fear (and pain) differently than you or I. The 'rational' part of the brain does not really entail into the whole thing, it's all reactive. The brain goes "Threat! PUNCH IT AND KEEP PUNCHING UNTIL IT STOPS". Takaoka might have been traumatized by Nagisa, but the reaction wouldn't have been 'let him walk towards me', but 'ATTACK! KILL! DESTROY! BREAK!'. There's a difference between an average person like you or I and someone who's trained their lives to fight and kill. In which 'area' Nagisa would have been very, very much inexperienced compared to Takaoka. But, primarily, I wanted to point out; don't EVER let your weapon drop in a fight, and never stop attacking in a fight, assume your enemy won't break in fear and that they will not stop hitting you until you are dead. Treat a fight as a life-or-death situation and avoid overly flashy movements, no flourishing or trash-talk. Head in the game and hope you make it out.
Nickolas Ganadakis I feel like it works here is that Nagisa is going against someone who is literally going through a severe mental break down (If I remember correctly he literally hasn’t slept at all since his break ) otherwise this is completely and totally useless.
This was the first time a scene in an anime left me truly speechless. After watching this scene I had to sit quietly for a few minutes, then all I could say afterward was "...damn."
