Never again will we get a game as good as this, just sitting on top of a roof like the absolute chad looking down on these fellas like we know what we're about to do.
I don't think they are man. When you already know exactly where all the guards are and how they will behave.. sure. In real life this is how you get caught. Stealthy=being cautious
I’m about a quarter way through the game and most of my time spent has just been me fighting with Arno over where he goes, one time he just didn’t want to go through a window and eventually some rooftop snipers saw him and shot him till he died
The fact there’s no more gameplay like this in these games is such a horrendous crime Edit: Unity, imo, has aged like fine wine. It’s most certainly one of my favorites in terms of parkour, assassinations, gameplay, combat, everything. Story is a little lackluster for me, but otherwise it’s so good.
But even now unity has issues, It's not optimized enough. it really hurts me to say it since this game has a very special place in my heart because of it's vibe and vusuals
I always seen this game got bad/mediocre reviews I guess cus of bugs and stuff like that but I always admired how fluid the movement and just how fun the parkour looks.
The game is fantastic when it works, but that’s the catch. When it works. I play it on PS5, it runs smoothly, very little bugs, but sometimes the climbing or enemy AI is a little buggy, but I can even manage to get into multiplayer missions with other people. When it works, the game is a masterpiece, else if a little unrefined.
It looks flashy and the vibes and style is immaculate. But unfortunately the movement plays like shit. Its too situational and contextual. No movement in the game has a set trejectory, the game just do as it pleases and you have to deal with the consequences. The only time the parkour feels remotely good is when it somehow doesn't glitch out and you play around the parkour systems. Parkour was way easier in the first few games where it did exactly what you told it exactly when you did it. But still there is something special with unity. No other game make you feel like when you play unity.
@@pieprincess5778 to a certain extent yes,and i said that you have to play around the system wich means the same as what you said "you just gotta know how to play" but that doesn't make it a good system. and the problem still stands. everything is contextual and that is not good when you want a consistent movement system. that is why i prefer ac 1 through revelations parkour system more. it did exactly what you asked of it, nothing more nothing less.
Man. They could drop this game in plenty 2024 and it would pass easily as next gen. I mean that thing is 10 fkin years old and look like a ps5 game man. People shat on unity are the reason the franchise changed for real. Everything was going really good. Even syndicate is a beauty to watch
Well, it had many bugs and was unplayable at launch. Not to mention the basic story and dull characters. I mean, for it being in Paris, Arno could have at least had a French accent. They also removed the whistle which was a staple gameplay element. Gameplay wise, the game is fantastic. The reason they changed it was to get more sales. Syndicate didn't sell as well due to series fatigue so they made it an rpg to cater to new fans
I didn't like Unity's parkour system before because it often prevented me from doing the moves I wanted (for example, I wanted to jump on a rope, but the system made me swing over the rope and jump to the roof or any other place to stay. ), until I played Origins, I found that the parkour system of Unity was not that unbearable, at least I could still feel some fun on it. In Origins, I just push L3 and I run ,it makes me bored.
@@CAMOLO.The parkour, whilst it looks good can be inaccurate and unreliable and won't allow for more precise movements. Sometimes your back eject can be done over large distances like you are flying, other times not so much. Sometimes I wanna jump into the beam instead of swing on it but the game does it all for you and fails
@@GatoPatataGameplays yeah, but it's beacuse it's talking about the creed of the assassins, when you want to say the plural form of 'assassin' is only with an 's'
I don’t remember exactly how long time it took. But is sure as hell took me hours at least. It’s always hard to do videos on Unity because of all the random bugs that can come up at anytime.
I actually couldnt put any music on the vid i was talking about cause it sounded terrible.Gonna have to figure that out in the future So i am uploading normally and will be out in a few hours.
It honestly sucks the bugs overshadowed how perfect this game was. I recently bought it months ago during a sale and I had tons of fun replaying the game. The game offers so much and it was a much polished version of the Kenway Saga AC games, most especially when it came to the movement. Freerunning and parkour was incredible and satisfying although often times you’ll see yourself fighting with the controls. Story wasn’t great but it wasn’t bad, the Dead Kings DLC was top notch. Overall, I would consider this as one of the best AC games I had played.
It is true that you can’t invite your friends anymore and play with them. But you can still play with random people online, or at least that’s my experience.
the parkour so good, but the stealth was shit and the perks were garbage too. i would take parjour from unity and add it to syndicate and u get a perfect assassins creed game
Imo AC 1 and Unity are the ones that make make the most out of the role Assassins actually play in this world, and how they act, think and execute plans. They're the ones where I felt the highest immersion and the biggest desire to "roleplay", meaning to simply play missions as perfectly and lore accurate as possible.
Ngl these vids be raw as hell but some of y’all take the authenticity out of it. Like in mind, I have to take my tik bc I Don’t know where everyone exactly is and where the objective is located…I have to use caution. Y’all make it look like y’all played the mission/did the location multiple times and now have the soldier’s positions memorized.
Some may not agree, but Unity was peak Assassin's Creed. The combat was diverse enough. The parkour was fluid with its up and down system. Stealth was a large and well rewarded focus while still providing the means to take different routes. And the history was on point. Crazy how Ubisoft managed to downgrade with every single title after that. With the exception of Origins.
that the worst assassin creed in the series 25g update for bug consider ubisolf was a french company that a shame it was so bad they gave free dlc on ps4
@matheus.bonfim i caught up that you were talking abt the ones that came before i like how the games tells us that there exist but dont like how they appear as holograms in like 15th century or sum.
