More genius. Glass cannon builds are flashy but generally frustrating to play. Unbalanced builds push Assassin or Warrior sky-high, to the detriment of the other damage types. The most playable and enjoyable builds have high protection, balanced strength across damage types, and a strategy to survive if you do get steamrolled. This build does all that, plus simple to make. Great for people who don't want to obsess with Epic weapons at blacksmiths or endless ostraka-finding. It takes brilliance to make a build so elegant, powerful, and simple.
If you have it the Atlantis forged weapons give you an engraving that takes half of your bonuses for a certain damage type( can pick between all 3) and gives it to all damage, your main damage doesnt change AT ALL and it just adds this is most helpful for pure assassin a good assassin build at minimum with this engraving will double warrior and hunter dmg.
@dan2017gs The damage conversion does not convert the numbers in your inventory, it converts the percentages!, dude! Which means all 3 conversions are equal in strenght! Using assassin conversion with Korfu engraving and Bighorn bow, is incredibly dumb! Do your homework, man! By using the assassin conversion you will only increase warrior and hunter damage, but since you dont need hunter damage, its stupid to do that. So you use hunter conversion to increase your warrior and assassin damage. Its equal in strenght and will increase warrior and assassin damage. You convetrt the unsed hunter damage, which you dont need anyway to increase the remaining two types, that you need, when playing with the bighorn bow.
@@T7PDM I wasnt talking about this build or increasing assassin damage, the comment i replied to said that they wanted a balance and with a pure build they couldn't get that , i simply informed them that with that engraving you could buff your warrior damage up to be great still. What you just said is absolutely correct for increasing assassin damage.
Walt B. follows me for over 3 years, and he has way more knowledge than you have, he doesnt need your advice. He is doing it correctly. Proposing assassin conversion with the Korfu engraving and bighorn bow is not the correct way.
@@T7PDM I understand that, obviously not with those engravings but with a pure assassin build( what hes talking about) you arent able to do much in terms of hunter or warrior, the conversion changes that.
When this game first released I hated it for how convoluted the gear systems were in comparison to it's predecessors, your channel explaining exactly how to master those systems has made the experience so much more enjoyable :)
Jesus, mad respect for putting this together. I am always amazed when you reveal yet another amazing build or improve your already god tier setup. Thank you for continually releasing new content for this game.
Hey T7, nice to see the Pirate gear used😊👍 I am currently playing with Alexios, since I am re-playing the Legacy of the First Blade. The love story didn’t fit Kassandra when I played first time a while back, so I wanted to see how it works out with Alexios. I prefer Kassandra too, but it seems I have gotten used to Alexios after playing with him for a while. I am using “the best build of all time” I think you called it, the one with Korfu engraving and 100% chance to ignore half dmg., and it’s my overall preferred build blasting through everything and can take a few hits. Thanks for all your great builds and continued content upload 😊💪👍
finally gonna try jumping back into odyssey after a very long time. i had gotten burnt out before i got around to fully optimizing my builds, so that’s my main goal this time around, in addition to finishing my ng+ playthrough. BUT I FORGET EVERYTHING!!!! 😅 so i guess ill watch some of your most recent videos to figure out what the current META is. not sure if it’ll be enough but i figure it’s a start lol
honestly watching your videoes . I'm learning more an able to "customize" to my playstye. As many mention the Glass cannon build sare tough (for me), as don't really pay attention. eitther wway tahnks for this.
I haven’t played this game. I had option between buying this game or origins and I went with origins. However, this game has probably the best combat out of all ac games, I get why ppl would want max damage builds but having builds that one shots people kinda defeats the purpose because the animations are so well done.
after finishing Origins, and I really love it , I recommend getting Odyssey, it feels like a continuation just better and even in a similar time frame.
I know I'm way late to this video, but I have a couple questions. Does the bow glitch still work now, and is it still a good build till I can get the ISU engravings? Thanks for the video, looks awesome.
There is not much to explain about it, you get a 20% discount when reaching mercenary tier S2 and you should focus on maxing out crit chance and crit chance at full health first. The same engravings which are trash on your gear, will also not be worth upgrading, since you will never use them. The dismantling guide shows you which ones are good: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-B4mNJLKA1No.html
Hey PDM, i just bought the game, currently level 15. i followed your old video that still using blade of yumminess. is there any early build that doesn't depends on that?
It only works with Ares Madness, which is far better anyway. -> Battlecry is only good on lower levels, to protect yourself. It just gives you an additional 50% warrior damage on top of what you already have, its like two 25% engravings. Its only stacking, its no multiplier. As soon as you get to level 50 and to Atlantis, you should use Ares Madness, because it uses your assassin damage for hitting enemies.
Is there any alternative to Heitors Harpe or a way to get it if you missed it? You include it in all your videos but I don’t have it lol. I just jumped back into this game recently and I know I did the mission for it a while back but I can’t remember if I gave the quest character the sword or stupidly sold it.
@@T7PDM I take it the blacksmith is just pot luck, I actually have the swords you mentioned in the video as alternatives (classic mistake of commenting before finishing a video) so I’ll just stick with them. Thanks for the reply.
Make one of the low level builds Level 22: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4pNUK9hTH6A.html Level 12: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-J5NAAmqeSWo.html
Hey T7 big fan of your work. I am stuvk between using this build or your level 55 build (which I am currently using) . Which is better in your opinion, when to switch to this?
@@T7PDM ah so no reason to switch. You think it is viable to finish game with the 55 build orndoes it get too weak. Thank you for the lightning fast answer to an old video, much appreciated!
Hello, i love your work i watched 4 videos in a row and this one just clicks for me lol, i'm lvl 50 and finished the game, i did a mess lol i want to follow your guide, i equiped all ur gear without the engravings but my warrior damage is still fixed at 14k , am i doing something wrong?
Would you consider doing a build for the pilgrims set? I know it's a pretty useless set, terrible engravings. But I have one built, and it's still incredibly useful. It can one-shot any mercenary, even on nightmare difficulty. And with permanent invisibility, it won't be hard. And raiding fortresses or anything of the sort becomes infinitely easier. And it still does one million damage with a charged heavy attack. So it isn't completely useless if you get yourself into a fight. if you have an entire horde after you, just go behind a wall and disappear. I know you tend to only make builds that are effective, but I think this would be a fun enough build to at least consider. It's also not completely useless in a fight as said before, so it's at least mildly effective. And before you're all like "that's a terrible idea" give it a go, raid a fortress with the invisibility ability and see how much fun you might have. I wouldn't recommend it for general use, but being able to sneak or disappear at any time is a very useful utility. I would have a second build slot to change to whenever you need raw damage and survivability
Its not useful at all, all it does is reducing your damage, You can use Shadow of Nyx perfectly without it, even though there is totally no reason to ever use that ability. The Pilgrim set is pure trash. I dont have fun running around hiding in bushes at all.
So with the second version I can just keep spamming Ares madness and be invincible too? That sounds good to me as I do like that ability but my current setup is all warrior damage and don't have a setup like this so the damage isn't crazy off it but still good. Only level 68 at the moment but should still be strong
@@SubaruWRC1996 Watch this video how to use the bighorn bow, all the errors are shown in the second part of the video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6dTHx3fWAvY.html&pp=gAQBiAQB Of course you have to make the build exactly as shown, use the Korfu engraving, the same weapons, the same engravings, abilities and masteries. Dont attempt to make a level 99 build on level 10, there are videos for low level builds. The bighorn bow does not give you a million damage, if your build sucks, it will still suck, since doubling no damage means you still get no damage.
You will be missing the 10% crit chance then, you would have to engrave 10% crit chance on arms, instead of 100% crit damage. So you lose 100% crit damage.
4000 hours, there is no real annoying enemy. The Minotaur and Cerberos can be challenging if you dont use a good build. Cultist guards are annoying because of their large shields that block normal arrows.
Weapons have good damage per second. But why does the number go from green to red if damage per second weapon numbers are higher in white numbers? Which is better? Green hunter numbers at the bottom of the screen or having the most damage per second on each weapon? In the white numbers.
The red and green numbers indicate the change when you switch an item. Your damage is not only calculated by DPS. Your DPS is actually completely unimportant since every weapon has the same DPS at the same level, the other stats on your item is what really matters. The game calculates the damage as follows: DPS * base damage * weapon damage * critical damage * armor penetration * abilites * DPS is the value on the weapon * base damage is your warrior / hunter / assassin damage amount * weapon damage is damage with swords / daggers, etc * etc....
* The numbers on your inventory screen, are NOT to be mixed with the weapons DPS value, the values shown at the bottom of the inventory are: DPS * weapon damage * base damage. DPS is a factor in this, but not the only one. * The bighorn bow adds its DPS to your left melee weapon, instead of your hunter damage, but you dont need your hunter damage, because the bighorn uses your warrior damage when shooting arrows. * The DPS value shown on the items themselves are EXACTLY the same for any weapon of the same rarity and level. A level 99 epic blunt will have the same value as a level 99 epic sword. By using the same stats in your build you will even get the same damage numbers in your inventory screen. Check this video for reference: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-okgbNrkjzlk.html
Does this build work wihh lower lvls like 55-60? I've watched the latest build video for lvl 55 and made it but I hate that I get one shot randomly from anything and just die, it can be very frustrating to play at times.
Make this build and upgrade your weapons to level 55, play as shown in the video, then you dont die: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qp8Ve6YGWKI.html
Followed the Lv 22 guide to the letter ,very glass cannon style. I died constantly, and the damage was no where near what was indicated on video, hope this one is better. thanks for the vid by the way
Not a helpful reply T7 , glitches ?, Followed the build guide with identical engravings , obtained all at lv 27, yes you mentioned the big horn bow influencing dmg . Skills bound to numbers on keyboard and used on targets,, less dmg than yours ,please no more reply's .
Yes you can, but it will reduce your damage to 50% of what is shown and your range will be none existent. Daggers are the weakest weapon in the game, with half the damage per hit than any other weapon type.
These are nice builds for people who are level 99 hand have access to all those weapons. Really doesn't do any good for those of us are only level 25 and don't have access to any of those weapons yet. Would be nice to see some strong low level builds too to help out some of us who are struggling in the game to do any decent damage.
@@T7PDM Ok. Thank you. I will check it out. I just get really easily confused with all the stats on the weapons and armor, so I have trouble finding good combos to do decent damage to enemies at or even sometimes below the level I am.
You can buy the Talon dagger from the store and use the legendary 10% crit chance engraving on Heitors harpe or another perfect epic sword that has warrior damage, damage with swords and critical damage.
It is better to use armor penetration on level 55 when you dont have upgraded your damage with swords, but once you have fully upgraded it to 30% it is better.
I want to play on my pc with the frame rate update, but I started my save on Xbox and have almost 200 hours in it ,is there any way to transfer my data to pc?
@@T7PDM ph sweet, but I have all my items and progress on console but I only get around 30 fps and I know I would get better fps on pc but I don’t want to lose my progress so I was wondering if there was a way to transfer the progress to pc
What is the time stamp? There are multiple glowing yellow weapons in this video. There is an ability called ares madness that has you pull out Leonidas full unbroken spear which is glowing yellow. Character will also glow. You can aquire it in the Atlantis dlc. There is an ability called Blessing of Kronos that gives you isu power which is glowing yellow extension to whatever weapon you are using for 15 seconds. Its also from the Atlantis dlc.
The bighorn bow is a glitched item and the only one of its kind. Use your free credits to get it. If you spend them on some other trash, just buy it, or you will regret it forever.
You are watching a high level build. You can google the location of legendary items, there is no need to show them. Some legendary items are free club items that are added to your inventory when you start the game. Just connect your ubisoft club. You should start with the level 10 build: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0VGvpmWSfWI.html
This game is all about getting the correct engravinsg on your items, dude. It already has crit chance on every item where you need it so the players dont have to collect the Ostrakas for it. And it doesnt have any rubbish stats like 90% of the rest. If want to know more about which sets are good, watch the legendary set comparison: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--VsRjbUOFA8.html
XP farming is extremely stupid and a waste of time. You will get way more by just focusing on the right stuff while playing the game. Check this viudeo: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fIk6DrwPPFY.html
There are atleast 6 builds for level 50, just check the low level build playlist. Its linked on the channel page and would be top results on google. There is also a free build included: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ORgkc1WB4mE.html
You can use a perfect epic sword with warrior damage, critical damage and damage with swords and engrave the 10% crit chance engraving from the Talon dagger, which is a Helix store item. It will give you the same stats as copycat.
Theoretically at any time after unlocking the mastery abilities from level 50 onwards, but you wont have the engravings maxed out and you will be lacking crit chance and crit damage. You can of course make some of the lower level builds, there are plenty of guides for it, but they require you to collect more stuff: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4pNUK9hTH6A.html
It wont appear in the shop. You can only get it with Olympian gifts and the chance for that is less than 0.5%. If you rely on the Olympian gifts it will take you 2 years to get it. If you want to use it while you are still playing, you should buy it. If you have atleast 75 credits it may be worth to wait for a sale.
In general the Nemean lion set is better than the Pirate set, you can also use it instead. Especially on lower levels it is recommended to use the Nemean Lion set, to increase your crit chance, like in the level 55 build: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ORgkc1WB4mE.html
Lie to Heitor to keep the sword as it was said in the video, dude. Watching the full video and not fast scrubbing helps not to miss important information.
You need the sword for the 10% crit chance. You can use another perfect sword, and engrave 10% crit chance on your arms, but you will lose 100% crit damage. But you get armor penetration additionally., so its not too bad.
Coming to this late, but I just can't get the math to work? If I remove the 10% crit chance I have on the gloves, and put the 100% extra crit damage at full health, I am at a 40% 90% crit chance. I have watched this video over and over and I just can't make the math come out like this video say it will. I HAVE To put a 10% critical chance engraving on the gloves to get 100% crit chance. Edit: Huh, my variation of this build seems to have a higher base crit damage (320%), but slightly lower At-Full-Health crit damage (460 instead of 475). Keep in mind tho that I use zero store items, not even the bighorn bow, so my base damage for hunter and warrior damage is significantly lower (50% lower) than yours. I just don't like using store items, period. I use Eros' bow instead.
You get 200 free helix credits after completing Megaris. If you already spend them on something else, you have to get more. The item is doubling your warrior damage and quadruples your hunter damage, its absolutely worth the investment. More than any other item or set.
@@T7PDM for some reason I had 450 so I got a ship design and a thing for the front I forgot about the bow again … I played before and did the same thing but I had to restart
Ummm you should be a bit more specific my guy, I just started a while back and im in level 22 so this is not useful for me i feel. Anyways keep up the good work
The build was made with the easiest collectible gear in the game, there is no grind to get all the items. Thats why it is the lazy build. Collect engrave and dominate.
