Assembling 12x20 Arrow Carport from Lowes 

Thanks for showing how it's done (especially the beer-chugging!) My daughter and I are looking to do it ourselves and I wasn't sure if I'd be up to the task, but I think we're gonna do it after seeing you handle it alone. I appreciate your time and effort to share the build.

It’s so much easier to assemble them on the ground and pick them up in one piece. You only have to worry about getting each side in the bottom and you are not up on a ladder driving those screws.

Built one for a friend yesterday. The self tappers were horrible. Some were bent outta the bag and a lot of the heads kept burning off

String level on top pieces before adding screws and it would have been perfect

Why not build the higher frames on the ground and then lift them in to place so you don't have to climb on/off ladder? Husband is looking at the 14H model for our RV

I ran machines for Arrow. In the shop we had to hold a sixteenth. Out in the field they went with somewhere in the area of the two holes.

I am waiting on lowes delivery for this. I think I am going to assemble the walls and rafters before installing to the rails, though. Watching all that up and down the ladder made me tired.

A little wind and this goes bye bye…. No attachment to the ground?? Where i live there’s a lot of wind. I’m already thinking how am I going to secure this to dirt ground. Maybe create a cement base with brackets.

The anchors have been mentioned previously, you didn’t include the tape for the top panels which helps with leaking.

I have been looking into a car port to keep my lawn stuff under. What did you think about the fit and finish of the kit you got? Are you going to secure it to the ground? Also- lowkey upset that you didn't end the video by putting the boat under the car port 🤣
