It’s amazing that the statues have returned, they say the lord works in mysterious ways…..a pump organ gets donated, Nick and Michael learn how to reassemble it, the statues return , who knows what will arrive next? Lovely to see everyone busy with all the work going on👍🏼🙋🏼♀️
So nice to see Rick back and feeling well. It’s wonderful that the hospital contacted you and returned the artifacts that used to be at the convent. Hopefully they can find their forever homes in a special place in the convent.

@@cathyblackhall5237I agree. They’re perfect for the chapel to fill the empty alcoves , from where the probably originated. They are stunning❤ Should be put some wheel on that “altar” it looks like it fits with the platform the organ is on. Would be wonderful for seminars and cultural evenings and music events . Since the chapel isnt consecrated anymore , it can be used for so many things. And can be a real asset to the whole town❤ They can still hold weddings there also if the want to.
Oh my goodness, how amazing and wonderful for those items to be offered back to the convent. And into your hands for safekeeping. My heart is full of thanksgiving for them to be where they were originally meant to be. Billy and Gwen - I think you’re turning a derelict old convent into a Palace. This place is going to be such an asset to the entire Community! They are probably already grateful for how it’s improved and cared for.👏 So nice the religious ✝️ artifacts were offsite while the building was unoccupied. Take your time, Billy, and eventually you’ll know where you want them placed. No rush. Inside and out, excellent work from everyone. Do hope 2nd floor fireplace 🔥 is kept (if safe). Be great with a couple chairs in front for a cozy reading/relaxing spot. Full and satisfying day once again. Will love seeing Kitchen cabinet work tomorrow 👍
I know some people don't enjoy the slow motion shots, but I LOVE seeing everything tossed out the window into the truck! You can see that they NEVER come close to hitting the windows 😅
As long as they don’t put flowers or other out of place things in the fire place . That’s so ridiculous to see😂 But I trust Billy have much better taste that that . There even are electric inserts that look real these days. It would be better if it was in the middle of the room as they could have used the fireplace spirit s and mantle that came with the library. But I’m sure they’ll find a way. Billy always does😊🎉

Yes Rick, you DO have a fantastic smile. I like the way Simon so kindly explains about things in such a way that he takes into account that there may be people who don't know about the details of things, which Billy has stated that most people know or have done. For example, assembling the the kitchen cabinets, which I have never done.

Happy to see Rick's smiling face back on the project! He has been missed. While Simon and Yannis are wonderful additions, they are not replacements. Yannis is so relentless! Make the young guy do all of the hard, heavy work and the more mature fellows clean up and help with the reconstruction. Between cathedrals, hospitals, and the residents of Ernie the history of the convent is coming back to life through your thoughtful care and creative ingenuity. Everyday is exciting waiting for The Pethericks new videos. I am 6-7 hours behind you on the southern coast of the US, but each new video brings more insight into the reconstruction and renewed nature of this amazing place. I hope that I can come and visit one day when it's all done.

I love this channel. What a wonderful group of hard workers making a beautiful abandoned convent come back to life. The return of the artifacts was wonderful to see. Also, how lovely to see Rick back. Everyone is outstanding and special kudos to Billy for leading the way.

What a treasure! Don't know if anyone mentioned it and I don't know what the books are but, some of the old hymnals and books are impossible to find - at least here in the US. These are irreplaceable so please wrap them and put in a warm, dry place or the mold will take over. Wonderful to see some of the older fashion statues. St. Joseph was always my favorite and you have a very old version. Thanks for sharing and being open to these things.
Hi Billy, I thought that the artefacts that you collected from the hospital are incredible. They have been well looked after and it is wonderful to have them back at the convent. They will look fabulous in the chapel when the ceiling has been restored by Michael. So much going on at the moment it is wonderful to see everything progressing so well. It is wonderful having Rick where he belongs as part of the team working alongside Mic and Yannis and feeling well again. Seeing the cabinets come together under Simon's and Billy's hands brings such excitement to the anticipation of their reveal!! I'm happy for Billy and Gwendolyn to see such progress. You must glue the ikea stuff together. It makes it 5 times stronger and longer lasting, and more comfortable to live with. because they get loose over time, Its best to have a confident joint. It would only take a small amount of titebond 3, and you will have worthy cabinets.
I’d extend the library on the upper floor by demolishing one more set of rooms. Then you could make the fireplace into a true feature instead of it being tucked into the corner, plus the added space would give the option to have a seating area/lounge on that floor as well!
What can l say. I got emotional upon seeing those statues returning home forevermore. Doesn’t matter where Billy decides to place these objects, because Billy always knocks the ball out of the park‼️ He knows where they will belong. And seeing Rick again was so special and made me smile. He is and always has been part of this amazing project‼️
