A video demonstrating how to put the wolf looms together is needed for those ordering from Overseas. Our looms have to be put together from scratch as we receive 2 boxes of sticks and boards.
with the heddles, I need to know HOW to line them up and thread them so that they come out even so I can thread one width for all or three or fourwidths for several areas of different colors.....does that make any sense??? I am STUCK right now with the heddles on one side threaded and not on the other side......need to get this DONE so I can proceed.....
Hi Robert, if it is possible, you should check your local yarn shop to see if they have a weaving instructor who can help you figure that and other weaving tips out. Thank you for watching!
Hi Liz! Here is a link to our manual that comes with our Double Back Beams! www.schachtspindle.com/pdfs/DBB%20WOLF%20ASSEMBLY.pdf We do not have a video for installing these at the moment.
You have changed how you package the heddles. Curious as if it makes a difference if the red tipped ends are down (or up) when putting the heddle bars back into the frame/shaft?
It does make a difference because the eyes will be oriented differently. For right-handed threading, place red end of heddles at top. For left-handed threading, place red end of heddles at bottom.
If you don't want to use the treadle aid for a particular project, you can leave the treadle aid tie-ups dangling. If you do want to use them, they're installed just like the Texsolv treadle tie-ups. After you tie up the treadles, install one treadle aid tie-up per treadle.
My Wolf Pup arrived in pieces. The assembly instructions said the wooden parts had a removable label on them to identify each part. Not one piece had a sticker on and 3 items were missing. I emailed Schacht but have never received a reply.
Hi Anne! I'm so sorry to hear this, I'd love to help. Please send us an email at info@schachtspindle.com and Cindy can help get you the parts you're missing and walk you through assembly.
