Just finished assembling my beautiful Jane, 16 shaft, 50cm. (Had to take a few days off in the middle of putting her together). She is absolutely beautiful, and I can't wait to get a warp on her. Thanks again for the excellent assembly vid!! ❤❤ Note: For others putting together their harnesses, all of my plastic side panels had very sharp burrs on their bottom ends, one even cut my finger, and also another slight burr along one edge. I had to sand them down and buff them. Was surprised as I love Louet products, always very high quality. This was perhaps poor quality control at the plastic molding step, or maybe just on that particular production run.
Thank you for such a detailed video. It worked great at assembling my new Jane 16 shaft, 70 cm. I do have a question though. When I level my harnesses, the 8 in the back hit the black grommets when I set them to the specified height. Has anybody else seen this? What did you do about it?
Hi, it's now 8 months since this video was made, and I'm still seeing pictured the loom stand without knobs in the two online shops I've been considering buying the loom from. Is it not out yet, or have they not updated their photos?
I just did exactly what you did installing the loom on the stand - but I think it's backwards if you plan on moving the warp beam/cloth beam to the stand. Don't the open holes in the stand need to be on the same side as the ratchet/pawls of the warp/cloth beams?
