Well this sucks. Watched this just after i installed it into my car... but glad im watching this now instead of 2 months down the road when i thought my build was finished
My AN fitting I got with the kit will not seat into the line correctly, not sure what to do, the roll pin will not go in because the fitting is too large and will not seat in at the back of the adaptor.
Any tips for tool to get the roll pin out? I broke the brand new slave I received with my order trying to remove It. I’m worried it will happen again. The only think I could find that fit was a small Allen key that I cut the bend section off so it was a very small punch.
Can this slave cylinder work with JZ applications or is it LS specific I have a ar5 and want to do the 3AN line trying to stay away from the factory slave from the solstice I hear they leak I’m not sure
So which is better....a canyon ar5 or a solstice ar5? I'm doing a ecotec powered rat rod and cant find a solstice ar5 cheap, but theres a lot of canyon ar5 around. Thanks in advance
Skylar McCuistion no major differences. 2nd gear is slightly different, shifter location is different, and output shaft is different (CV flange vs slip yoke). Most people use the Colorado for the cost unless they need the shifter location of the Solstice.
@@fabbot6562 I'm just trying to do an na le5 build maybe turbo down the road. Pick a part has a lot of canyon and Colorado but zero solstice. I'm building a custom chassis so I guess I can move it wherever I need to shifter to be. End goal is 1000 pound truck with 175-ish wheel hp. With that in mind, I'll be ok with using a truck ar5?
