Thank you! You may want to be aware that you skipped a complete step. Attaching the X-Axis Motor. Also, you do link to purchase opportunities. Could you link also to PDF instructions? It took both videos, another 3rd party video, and the printed instructions, to cover all the bases.
The parts for each step are laid out center screen, so stopping at such points to see what's required was sufficient in my case. The one goof I made was in securing the cables to the moving parts at a slightly wrong point so that the Y axis motor cable became partially unseated when I moved the gantry away from the limit switches to watch it home. The Y axis moved but with only one phase connected, it sounded like it was grinding rocks. OOPS!
@@CesarDiaz-wq2lb looks like is a later model 20w, I have printed one but would be nice to know if they were available as they look small thin and neat 👍
@@ORTUROFFICIAL thanks for the reply🤜 I'm having one other issue, if you could help identify...that is when engraving if I set auto cool on, when it stops to cool down once it resumes the motor keeps moving starts engraving but the laser stays off. The little red light on top of the laser dimms out but the axis motor continues on with the job... I'm using lasergbrl when this occurs... Do you know what my issue could be
@@ORTUROFFICIAL thanks for your help. I opened a ticket and in the end I needed to update the firmware from 1.37 to 1.40 and that fixed the auto cooling issue / laser turning on and resuming correctly after cool down period. Thanks 🙏
sorry for the issue of Dropbox, we still discuss with Dropbox about how to solve it, please download at ortur.tech/documentation/olm2/LaserMaster2.zip or we.tl/t-pBF3RmBDZ7
Don't bother checking your speakers, these idiots made a video with no sound! They could have at least added some text to tell you which side of the belt goes up. Bad first impression for the company.
I think you missed a couple of things. Thankfully it was easy enough to attach the motor behind the laser. I figured out the long skinny threaded bolt screws into the right side of the laser to keep it from wiggling back and forth. And a small cylinder machined piece of metal came in the same bag as the laser, what is it for?
Thats at 11:36 step for the side and the cylinder might be for setting your height. do you know what size the silver screw is? i need a replacement. im thinking its an M2?
