I think it's fine. In my early days with Unity, I used to watch the "Messy Coder," and he did this as well. Reputation was never in question. I think it would be cool to explore other assets more in depth that maybe aren't paid as well as ones that are.

Nothing is impossible. You could make use of this in a 2D game if you want. But you would of course have to adapt it to the constraints of the design you are trying to achieve. For example, moving an object around in 3D space makes no sense in 2D space. But if you merely have a 2D handle to move around two axis, that is the same as a moving it around in 3D space while excluding your movement in one axis. If that makes sense.

@@LeafBranchGames Might be able to get away with using a mic isolation shield around it or foam, even just adjusting your gain down abit and maybe putting in a noise gate could help if you want to start there before spending money
