​​​@@grimoireprime it's not completely different though, it is still part of the Asshimar line since the Asshimar proved to be a very capable aerial and atmospheric use mobile suit which is why the Federation developed the Anksha which uses parts from the Jegan to make it more cheaper to produce and more capable than the regular Asshimar that only uses a burst beam rifle since the Jegan is a much more modular and high performance platform and with the addition of the Asshimar's transformation capabilities and you get a cheap to produce battle proven mobile suit that could outmatch transformable MS like the delta or zeta in atmospheric battles, it's just sad that in the anime it gets wrecked a lot which is poor representation imo, then again the attack on Torrington did prove that even if the Federation does get new and better mobile suits they still can't do sh1t against a zeon remnant army that uses antiques from way back the one year war, I guess the federation just have plenty of bad pilots

@@bryfunkenstein true I guess that is one factor to consider, that byarlant pilot was cracked af tho and he was using a custom version of a mobile suit from the gryps war, its equally as outdated as the remnants suits the only improvement was its flight capabilities but it still had the same arsenal from when Jerid first piloted it, a built in beam guns which were low output but fast firing, and two beam sabers then the pilot just put on free bird on his stereo on blast and even went up against a geara zulu(an ms that was adopted during CCA something years newer than the byarlant) and won

Technology my friend. As it progressed and got better, it got smaller. Like what happened to our computers. Before we need to move a large memory bank that can only hold a few megabits of data now we have phone size banks that can hold terrabits of data.

You find the donut adorable. Then look at the acguy and bearguys. Those are adorable.

You’ll notice this with a lot of titans ace units/experimental MS for the titans. They just couldn’t decide on anything till it was too late lol

I’d consider it limited production. My theory is that the Asshimar was to complex to mass produced and with the titans loosing support shortly after we saw a flight group of them, they probably lost the ability to fund it since the federation was pulling out support
