Even if he didnt insult shaykh Rabee and other ulama, it doesnt mean he is free from hizbiyyah (sitting with the innovators that are warned against by the ulama). You all can see and testify it yourselves. No need to defend a person, its the truth that we should and must defend with knowledge and sincerity. May Allah guide this ummah to the aqidah of the Salafu Salih. Ameen.
Wow.. this is the problem with the Salafi Doctrine. They turn on each other like rabid dogs. The most extreme, turn on the lesser extremists for not being extremist enough, only causing the movement to become more and more extreme . Alhamdulillah for not allowing to become enamored and swayed by the Salafi movement . Alhamdulillah for keeping me on Haqq, and for showing me the proper way to follow the Salaf, and by extension the prophet peace be upon him. Alhamdulillah for keeping me away from this movement that only divides and hurts the ummah. Praise be to Allah. I'm so happy that as a revert, I didn't follow the path many other reverts chose. Praise be to the one true God for saving me from this self destructive movement.

It could be that either you’ve personally attached yourself with people such as assim, or that your teachers could’ve been caught out in an err, which they were stubborn on not retracting. The point is - this harshness your seeing is the only way to preserve the deen. The salaf don’t get attached to a person, but only the truth they speak and the actions they omit. By the way, 90% percent of the times, people who are caught out in err’s are privately advised - how long? Some could be from months or some could be for years. We only see the outcome of when they’re called out.

Muqbil and Sh. Al-Fawzan refuted him. Br. Al-Romani is salafi too but he takes from Sh. Salih al-Fawzan and other senior scholars.

SubhanAllah, more and more people are becoming less and less people that we should be listening to. My question is, is there anyone we can listen to who speaks in the English language ? I love reading these subtitles but when I'm working I like to listen to something at least and I don't understand the Arabic language.
Listen even in Arabic. It gets your ears used to it and little by little, you’ll start understanding. That’s what I do, works for me alhamdulillah. Knowing and learning Arabic is a necessity for seeking knowledge in Islam. We shouln’t depend on middle men translating for us. The real stuff in Islam is all in Arabic.
Assim al hakeem is not a scholar but da'ee. He said this himself. I follow this channel and the major scholars of saudi including shaikh rebee may all preserve him. I think we are making issues out of nothing. Surely I could be sitting in a gathering and not know the brother sitting next to me is a sufi or a rafidah. We owe the benefit of the doubt to sheikh assim. I seriously worry for my salafis as they are creating issues with everyone. sheikh assim himself is a salafi so why are we criticising him like he is an innovator.
We muslims need to do our own independant researches regarding these scholars on all sides . Or else we will be lost in trusting the testimonies. I only saw a Sheikh asking others to not listen to other sheikhs. I dnt think such an individual is fair and just who barrs people from listening all sides. Doesn't who he is , such a person is no Prophet . . I dnt know how much of these scholars are honest and how much of them are functioning as paid scholars from the kingdom. Coz anyone glorifying the kingdom should know that Saudi Arabia is not an islamic Caliphate . It's a country known for befriending NATO and US . Very well known..politics cannot be excluded from what is happening onnthe ground . Heck we know how Saudi King is friend with Israel. . The world is lot more complex than people following correct aqeedah and manhaj. Those who have correct aqeedah are befriending Zionist while those who have wrong aqeeda have good actions . Take Saudi and Iran for example . Aqeedah without action is meaningless if you dnt act on islam , believing in it is meaningless. You have to act on the practise in order to be a muslim . A muslim with correct aqeedah needs to prove himself through his just actions and even though I respect Saudi for having pure tawheed their actions somehow opposite . . All newcomers like me need to be carefull and dnt blindly follow a Sheikh on correct aqeedah . It is possible that a person's aqeedah is correct but his actions are worse than non muslims. And it is possible for a non muslims aqeedah to be terrible yet his actions good. .. .we cannot isolate people based on aqeedah alone . .we have to isolate them on actions as well . Or else we will be pulled apart from all of the contrary opinions.
