getting ready to hit the sack, took an ambien and started watching this video. the ambien started kicking in during the scene with jean in your kitchen and doom saying 'lazah feengahs....' in a sexually inappropriate manner. usually when it kicks in, thats my que for bed time. but watching that scene gave me an instant of clarity. an epiphany, if you will. you should turn this into a comic/strategy guide. every month, some new character shows up at your house, has an adventure with you and doom and then on the next page, BAM! you gotta a list of special moves, combos and the situations that gives your character the advantage. so like, issue #1 would be a phoenix issue. you her and doom save the world (along with a little help from ammy) and feeling greatful for all of phoenix's help, you decide to show her how to unlock her full potential - that's where we get her character guide. for real bro, you print that shit up and i'll buy every issue the day they drop.

O_O Sucks to be Max and Doom at this point. ^^; Another fantastic episode, Max. While I'm in the camp that sees Phoenix as "too cheap", it is nice to see a how-to video on her qualities. Also, the "movie clips" were funny as hell and evidence towards the case of Marvel Studios getting back their properties from Sony and Fox. As for the Nic Cage issue... You're on your own. ;P

Man... Dark Phoenix was such a minor headache when compared to all the stuff Doom did in the comics... heck Doom even managed to steal the powers from Galactus in The Secret War saga! The version of Doctor Doom from UMVC3 is severely nerfed compared to the "real" deal.

If you're going to continue about using Phoenix in part two, I think it would be noteworthy to discuss the defensive properties of her Phoenix Rage hyper combo. It's totally invincible on start-up, and if all hits of the projectile connect, she becomes invincible for the duration of the animation. She can also cancel all of her moves into it, including her teleports. This means that, as long as she has meter, she can make virtually anything safe.

Now I know who to add to my team ;) lol The women playing Phoenix is so BEAUTIFUl ! I wanna see "Dante Assist Me" Episode in the future. Keep up the good work Nicolas Cage 'Max'

max, correction on the phoenix overdrive in DP mode. there is alot more hitstun for combo starting, AND has frame advantage vs the regular phoenix variant btw thank you sooo much for the phoenix assist me! ive been waiting for the haters to hate... just a bit more :)

I WAS gonna say that Capcom should just put Max as himself for the next MvC installment, but I forgot, he's already in the game as Ghost Rider^^;;. I gotta say, the actress playing Jean really is a pro :). Tess was awesome, but the actress who played Jill, I think Doom pretty summed up what was memorable about her-v-;;. On the bright side, she did inspire Max's audience to ask for Assist Me's featuring team Darkstalkers. Good thing you didn't put her name at the end Max. She'd have a male harem!

Dark pheonix is the reason why I use rocket raccoon as a third team mate, his level 2 or level 3 x factor combined with tunnel rat H (Heavy teleport) is super useful in dodgeing top tierd offense and if you dig out of the teleport below your opponent in lvl2 or lvl3 x factor mode you can throw your opponent to the floor and pull of a Level 3 Hyper combo for near less than 1 million points of damage followed with an OTG combo to. RR's H teleport in x factor is very good for survival.

2:46 is the best scream I have ever heard.

up+forward, hold down+forward in the air, then press either lp+mp or mp+hp to do the air dash. practice doing it lower and lower to the ground until you figure out the lowest possible height you can do the air dash. not every character can do one due to not everyone having an 8-way air dash, so you can only practice this with certain characters. My suggestion is to practice it with magneto.
