Was thinking of doing something similar to this on our channel; breaking down the mechanics of KI Bone with Woolie and I. Now, after watching Max's version, I realize how pointless it would be.
It's 2021, and you are looking for a Killer Instinct tutorial. You don't want a by the numbers tutorial, you want something with some jazz, some life, some ENERGY! You notice Max dropped an Assist Me for Killer Instinct. You watch it. You are now a better player than before. Thank you Max!
Just installed ki yet again. Honestly if Microsoft releases a sequel as good as this, they will have a truly viable fgc series. I mean '16 is legendary already
Really good tutorial video. I never played Killer Instinct before, but this definitely got me ready to try it out. Great detailing on the combo structure without it being confusing and everything else. Can't wait till the next one.
This is when I first started watching Max in college. Benny was a huge part of me continuing to watch. He's so cute and unforgettable. I suffered from some pretty severe depression and am still thankful I survived college. Watching Max's streams all night might've saved my life. Benny is a massive part of that. I still call Sabrewolf Benny. Thank you for everything you've done for me and others. Being a dog, I know you'll never know how important you are. I also know my experience is not unique. You've saved many lives. I now work in foster care helping children without a stable home. Without you, I wouldn't be here. Thank you Benny. It's difficult to put into words how much you've influenced my life. I genuinely love you. Thank you thank thank you
I'm glad to see Doom in another game's Assist Me. Assist Me just wouldn't be the same without Doom. Even though I doubt I'll be getting an Xbone, or this game... I look forward to the content you'll make for it.
Thanks Max. I thought I knew all about KI being an old school player. Love the new mechanics, you explained them really well. Can't wait for the next episode dood! Keep up the fantastic work!
Thanks Max this really helped me understand what I was seeing in all these combos. I've never been into fighting games that much. I've only casually played them so I appreciate the help understanding. Enjoy the tournament dood!
Very well explained and easy to follow. I've had alot of people suggest the game to me, but when it comes to looking at fighting games these days, it's way to intimidating and complicated for me. But you explained it in a way simpler manner then everyone else whose tried to explain it to me. I greatly appreciate this video, thank you for the upload
I have good childhood memories from playing this game with my friends back in the 90's on Super Nintendo. I picked it up on Steam yesterday and must say this version is in the top 5 fighting games of all times.
That was really awesome! Great job covering the basics of the new KI. Can't wait for the next video :) It's crazy how the game's mechanics are simple and easy to grasp while having a crazy amount of depth!
when you see the "next layer" of complexity (shadow moves, shadow counters and counter breakers) you head will explode! A KI tournament must be the hypest thing to see
Amazing video. I'm so excited for this game, yet I had been having trouble fully understanding and following the combo system. This video explains perfectly all the information I was missing. And on top of that, it's a new Assist Me! episode. :D The story is PERFECT. It fits so seamlessly into the Assist Me! universe while bringing in KI universe stuff like Ultratech. I'm excited to see where this goes.
This was just awesomely funny and highly informative! Great job! I'm not new to this Ultra amazing franchise but relearning as if I walked in the arcade playing this game over 15 years ago.
i like how you told us step by step how to do a combo instead of just told us a bunch of moves beginners won't understand like in some of the other assist mes nice job max i find the assist me series very interesting and helpful
While I won't be getting an Xbone anytime soon, I admit this was a pretty damn good video. The skits were a little long, but I love the content. You explained the mechanics of the game, while getting straight to the point, without having to rely on humor or cheesy jokes to keep people interested. The video was also well made. Good work Miles, and I'll be sure to check out the rest of your channel, because I like what I'm seeing so far.
Very informative thanks alot!! Im an novice to intermidiate KI player. I want to spend 16 hours a day 7 days a week to molding myself into a advanced KI combohead. Double Ultras are my goal. Keep making great vids!!!!
Had this in my Steam Library for quite some time, played it for a while, enjoyed it, but always felt that my enjoyment was missing in fighting games due to my approach with them. I'm super casual when it comes to fighting games and I've always wished I had some degree of proficiency with them to maybe attempt multiplayer. Seeing this video has me motivated to derive a lot more value from the game so thank you so much for putting these things up!
Another amazing tutorial, Max. Incredible editing too! Too bad I can't afford an Xbox One to get this game, the videos only make me wanna play it even more.
