Train Driver Academy
Pre Employment Training (PET) Course
Module 4 - Out of Course and Degraded Working
Section 6 - Assistance to Failed Trains
During assistance, the failed train driver must "ordinarily" place 3x detonators 300m to the front or rear of their train. In this video the failed train driver has positioned 3x detonators 300m in rear of their train.
The assisting train has picked the failed train driver up and they are about to explode two of the three detonators (I didn't get my camera out quick enough!).
The failed train driver now accompanies the assisting driver to the rear of their train. The assisting driver is responsible for coupling the units together.
