Really the most important portfolios would be the foreign minister and the defence minister ...these two ministers must learn to be on the right side of history besides being able to coordinate with the new PM. Gaza conflicts put Singapore 🇸🇬 in the spotlight whether it is standing for righteousness, equality, humanity, honesty and with compassion. The hypocrisy of the powerful must be clearly shown not to be supported ...but being a small country ..the stand should be neutrality...rather than to continued shouting..Rule based order when there is none , only double standards rules .. An arrogant defence minister will go no where for a small country ...and must be prudent enough to know that the new world order is emerging or is already here to be accepted by far sighted leaders .
