As a Dutchman I can say that he is 200% right. The worst thing is is that our govt actively supports all of it. People worry about petty issues such as 'pronouns' and 'not offending' or 'indirectly offending' others while forgetting about the real issues. They feel that having a 'victim' identity gives their life a purpose and right to make trouble on the streets. Wokeness tears our society (and much else of the West) apart. Luckily not everyone goes along with it.

In 2005, Israeli forces withdrew entirely from Gaza, leaving the Palestinians to govern their own state. And what happened? Hamas grew stronger, siphoning funds and material aid from the UN. They brought in engineers from Iran to manufacture weapons and started launching rockets into Israel. Instead of building up infrastructure and bettering the lives of the people, Palestinian authorities allowed it become one giant terrorist base for Hamas with the purpose of eradicating Israel. I don't see how Palestine becoming a UN member will change things. Hamas is too deeply embedded into Palestinian leadership.
