Join us for a walk in Assos, Kefalonia (Cephalonia) Greece.
Come with us as we take a walk through the beautiful and charming village of Assos, admiring the traditional architecture, peaceful landscape and pebbled beaches which make up the natural beauty of Assos. We stroll around the narrow alleyways looking at the colourful houses with pink and white flowers, lovely paths and old churches. Assos is a popular day trip for visitors to Kefalonia, lots of people enjoy a lunch in one of the many little tavernas perched on the quayside overlooking the bay.
Assos (Άσος) is a village on the west coast of the island of Kefalonia (Cephalonia) Greece. Assos is located 36 km north of Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia. The village of Assos is built on a small peninsula and is overlooked by the ruins of a 16th century Venetian castle.

A wonderful hidden place in Kefalonia. I've been there a couple of times and I will go again! For those loving scenic walks, don't miss climbing to the Venetian Castle. Relatively easy climb and the view is magnificent. Thanks for the great video.

@@lolyurr4826 fiskardo is our favourite place on the island great for food and celeb spotting Sami and Agia Effimia are worth visits we love argostoli the capital at night lovely vibe, a must is the melissani cave, castle of Saint George for a wander round the ruins if only to stop and have the best desserts at kastro cafe next to it, also our fav place to eat is kelari taverna high above Skala resort in old skala the views are amazing…. Enjoy

Kefalonia is famous for its local wine varieties“Robola”, “Mavrodafni” and Kefalonian Moschato. “Robola”, specifically, is one of the three best wine varieties in Greece

Αν υπάρχει δήμαρχος σέ αυτό τό κουκλιστικο χωριό , ή κοινοτάρχης , νά τού κάνω μία παρατήρηση ! Ο χώρος τού Ηρώου , θά μπορούσε νά ήταν πιο περιποιημένος , με λίγα λουλούδια σέ παρτέρια στις γωνίες , τό λιγότερο πού θά μπορούσε νά κάνει !!! Τόσο τουρισμό δέχεται η Άσσος !!!
