Fantastic views, Scotland really is beautiful and amazing place to wild camp, I am still a virgin wild camper, but nearly there... Thanks for sharing this..
my five year old son and i just got back yesterday from climbing the Suilven. we managed to get as far as the saddle, however the next stage was more dangerous, for the both of us as we'r both scared of heights, this was my first climb in over 20 years so it felt like my first. when we arrived at our top, my sons reaction was the words from him, beautiful, fantastic, amazing. just what i was looking for from him, i was speechless. lol shattered. one more thing, thanks David for the video, hope there's more to come.
Epic video David and brought back so many memories for me as I did that walk back in the mid/late seventies. Watching your video felt like I was right behind you all the way, really enjoyed watching this, blue skies....bonus!! Thank you for sharing.
Great to see your video, I met you on the way down in the morning. So you did make it to Stac Pollaidh. What a place to have to yourself for the night! I will have to camp it myself sometime. I flew off it, had dreamed of it for years. I filmed it (vid on you tube) but the light was not great that day. Have fun in those hills. All the best!
+Seb Rider I wasn't sure who you were, till I watched your video, as I met a lot of people that weekend. Wow, what a way to do Suilven, I had no idea you were carrying a paraglider! I'd have stayed and filmed you if I'd known. Well done, I look forward to more from you like that.
What an inspirational video, and a climb I'm hoping to do in 2021 with my 14 year old son....Is there a 'better' time to do it? Don't really want to be food for the midges.....
Great stuff Dave. Do you actually speak English at all ? (just kidding mate). Have done many nights wild camping over more than 40 years of hiking and they are high amongst the real special moments of my life....Thanks heaps.
