A while back I'd made a theory that Asta has a magic attribute, but no magic power to activate or wield it. At least not until Anti-Magic started flowing through his body. At the time, my theory had Asta having some form of innate Copy magic, that he'd been wielding instinctively the whole time, since Asta seems to be able to COPY other people's styles and techniques so easily.
Random thought, I hope this isn't the final arc but the 2nd to last one. Hear me out. The angels come in waging war on devils & humans. Tha devils & human fight on 2 separate fronts. They manage to beat the angels & Lucius survives but a few key angels survive. then the final arc or saga is something crazy w dwarves, humans, elves, devils, spirits, anger & everything else
He’s probably on the throne too completely absorb his siblings powers, so he can permanently use his resurrection/advance healing powers. Either they will die, and will be given new bodies or they will survive, and might work with the good guy’s. Either way, it’s pretty ironic they ended up in the situation they put Yami in. It’s kind of weird how the wizard kings acting more like Yhwach than Aizen (the theory of him being evil came from him having some Aizen like moments, like him sitting on his throne, just like Aizen), he basically achieved the goal Yhwach was aiming for.

I think asta unlocking antimagi zone is his first step to unlocking back hole magic the next step would be something that allows him draw or suck all magic into his swords
I wish Asta had a bunch of swords that each had different abilities of course anti magic being the main over all magic but I wish he had a huge arsenal of swords with mad abilities

Honestly it makes sense for Asta to use Blackhole magic via anti magic properties. This is gonna sound corny as hell, but imagine Asta becoming the Wizard King who is so strong because nothing can really pose a threat to him. Why? Blackhole anti magic, not only does it nullify all magic abilities but also saps mana from everyone.
As many holes as Yami punched in Dante, he should be all you need to repair bodies. It's not like he didn't have blood or bones when he regenerated with body magic alone.
Lol, and the Deku VS Asta Deathbattle just came out today. Deku lost it anyways, and it seems like Deku won't ever be able to reach Asta's level unless he gets some broken powers even crazier than Stars and Stripes by the end of the manga due to the Quirk Singularity theory. RIP Deku though, I wanted to see him on Deathbattle (and win) for years. But since the outcome is accurate, I'm not complaining. For Deathbattle, the only thing worse than my preferred character losing is if the outcome is totally wrong. Which it isn't in this case, so that's good
Maybe the wizard king traveled through time and transformed like Yami massacred all his clan, and since Yami was accused, he left their village and got to the clover kingdom.

Anti-Compound Magic, Asta will be able to control his magic to be able to combine both anti-magic and magic to be together for a combination attack. Furthermore, he will be able to allow what spells can be placed on him, for example Yuno star magic teleportation spell and not allow spells that he doesn't want to be placed on him. Anti-Creation Magic, Asta will be able to manipulate his anti-mana without any physical weapon to assist him with his anti-magic he will be able to utilize his anti-magic in thin air like Yuno and Party. Anti-Curse/Seal magic, Asta will probably be able to curse or seal the user to not be able to use magic again. Anti-Forbidden Magic, Asta will be able to use more demonic wed magic to enhance his anti-magic even more than before. Anti-Healing Magic, In the clover no matter what type of magic you have you can still heal yourself, for example, fire magic healing fire magic. Asta will be able to heal himself with his anti-magic but for others, it will do the opposite like destroying their life force. Anti-Magic Attributes, Asta might be able to manipulate his magic to feel like fire, ice, electric or something else. Anti-Magic Techniques, Asta might finally learn ruin or mana-method from Zora, Magna and the heart queen similarly. Anti-Reinforcement Magic, Asta will able to enhance his anti-magic body more sufficiently than before this could help to increase the devil's duration transformation, ok it looks like asta learnt this but, what he did was he, basically skips an important part what all mage Bn t for his case he went straight to devil union just like spirit dive doesn't last long like Yuno own. Anti-Restraining Magic, is similar to curse/seal but a weaker version of them since, it is anti-magic it will not only block the user's magic but any magic item they are carrying will be deactivated too. Anti-Trap Magic, Asta might be able to trap his enemy like how Zora dose his own. Anti-Weakening Magic Asta could weaken their magic spells which could be good support for his alliance. Communication Magic umm asta can one for the sake of it.

It’s an interesting theory but I see one problem with it. How would Asta be able to utilize dark magic if he has no mana to manipulate it, unless Sukihiro and Ichika were to fight using their dark magic in conjunction with Asta and his antimagic (By way of his Demon Dweller) which while playing into the idea of “fighting as a team” seems like it would require the kind of synergy that Asta and Sukihiro showed in their fight with Dante, but Asta and Ichika have no such synergy Add to that fact that Lucius and the Paladins might not be all that effected by dark magic in its base form since it seems like they’re light based (perhaps its just an aesthetic thing with Lucius) Also there is no in story way for Asta to achieve any form of “real” magic, the only way he could would be with his Demon Dweller sword (as mentioned above) While I don’t think Asta will just magically gain a magic type I do believe that he could achieve an evolution to antimagic that isn’t an actual magic type
I believe it was stated that Light magic's weakness is dark magic, so Yami and everyone that uses dark magic has an upperhand against light magic. Time magic's weakness is light magic. Every magic is weak against anti-magic. Also, you are right about everything. The problem is that Asta's body can not retain magic, due to a mutation, which the Witch Queen has stated. It was also stated by the Wizard King that Asta is the only one that can use his anti-magic weapons and powers because he does not have a drop of magic. If he gained magic, he would be drained of all his magic if he just picked up those weapons.
asta’s anti-magic is probably going to be purified and be turned into pure magic (9r something kinda like that) and he’ll finally have magic for the first time and use it to win. OR, the magic doesnt work and this theory stays up. i dont remember if anti-magic is immune to purification. . .
Lucious already tried to purify Liebe, but couldn't. Liebe has anti-magic, which stops the purification. Anti-magic drains and destroys magic spells. Also being devil-possessed, Lucious could not turn Asta or destroy him like he would with his soul magic. He has already stated this.
This makes sense that Lucius couldn’t see a future where he’d lose once Asta was removed. A black hole also curves time so you could see your past and future warping around you. With that, Lucius might not see his future because of Asta black holing his magic.

This makes the most sense to me, as I don't see how he's supposed to gain Black hole magic otherwise. The reasons in the video seem like a reach to me, but this seems much more likely imo. I was leaning towards ki acting like Haki does in One Piece, where more powerful Haki users can defeat and overpower even the strongest devil fruit abilities
Theory- Asta is short for Astoroth, the Devil of time by Black Clover lore. We have yet to see that particular Devil but have seen the other high ranked ones. What if we haven’t seen Astoroth because Lucias only has control of the Time magic once held by that devil. Lucias has Soul Magic which we’ve seen can alter whole personalities and bestow power to others. What if Lucias, due to his family’s connections with making contracts with devils, was able to completely change or alter Astoroth’s personality therefore controlling or taking away the time magic held within. Then by either splitting apart the personality, creates Liebe from the process, the husk leftover from the time devil’s original body. Then, maybe unable to destroy the personality/soul from Astoroth, Lucia’s trapped or hid the soul away for when he maybe needed that soul again. The likeness of Asta and Liebe in this manga just doesn’t seem like a coincidence with them both having the same “morher” and us as the readers not knowing the identity of the father, if the father isn’t some high ranked Devil himself, maybe Astoroth himself. Maybe Astoroth is the process to not be completely controlled by Lucia’s split himself apart into a human and a devil. This is a Shonen manga, usually the coincidences are not ever what they seem.
yami - Black hole, ichika- black star i think astas might be called “Black clover” unironically lol it might be a gigantic clover shaped area of effect where all magic is completely null and also drains all magic from the users within the area
When you see astas first encounter with julius, you can see that when he holds astas sword, the sword was absorbing his magic could that be a hint at antimagics property to absord magic rather than negating magic. What if anti magic doesnt erase magical power but it actually absorbs them at such high rates that it looks like it is being erased? What do you guys think?

I use to think Asta had some kind of magic that he couldn't tap into earlier in the series as well. In a world where every single person has magic, it's more than odd that just soley one person does not. I feel like we will see him and Liebe somehow activate their latent magical ability through this ki training, though I doubt it will be Black Hole. Or maybe it will be like Haki in One Piece. Where more Haki trumps powerful devil fruit abilities. Ki could act the same against magic, especially coupled with anti magic
@Hay Hay I think that's what a lot of people are forgetting. If he gets a power up it will involve anti magic... If you refer back to the julius panel when he picked up astas sword, it was literally absorbing his magic making him weaker and Julius confirmed then that only Asta can use anti magic since he literally does not have magic lol
Yamin was jack as a kid however with his limited training in ki and not yet having access to a grimmore there no way he beats his entire family of highly trained ki&mana weilding family members on his own(under normal situation). Him leaving because HE believed some might falsely blame him 🤔
This black hole magic you speak of may be more likely to happen as a combination of something from Asta and Yuno, similar to what the first wizard King and the leader of the elves Did in the Dark Castle. So I'm thinking he'll probably have some type of anti- Magic Mana Zone and yuno will have some new star Magic that will work great as a combination with his rival to form something similar to your idea of gravity or black hole Magic
I like this better than the reasons stated in the video. I don't see Asta doing it alone, or as someone else has said, maybe he'll get a scroll and use Black Hole magic that way. Feel like Yami developing BH magic makes more sense. Or the Gravity magic user.

When you were talking about why you like the idea of astas black hole magic, it makes sense as julius/ lucius has a sun on his forehead and as black holes love to absorb stars. Maybe asta will either kill lucius or absorb him or his magic in some way and obtain it for himself
I just noticed that the siblings' magic which are Body, bone, blood and soul magic could create a vessel and their demons which are space, gravity, curse and time magic, when fused could create a God in the flesh. Damn lucius

Asta's body can not gain magic, due to a genetic mutation. Stated by the Witch Queen. Also, he would not be able to use anti-magic, since it would drain him of his magic. If anything, it will be ki and the anti-magic, that will probably do that. Ki can be used by everyone.
all im saying is that if yuno has star magic, and asta gets gravity anything, he could collapse a star spell into an anti magic blackhole. Even if he gets a sword with the ability to manipulate magic

Liebe has no magic but he has strong emotions only to ward revenge lucifero so he got anti magic but poor asta , even now asta has no his own magic ,but yuno has two magic haha poor asta ,he became definition of poor, regrettable
At least Asta has Ki, of course everyone has that, but do not use it or know how to use it. Asta loses Liebe, he would have to rely on ki to win every fight.
I think Asta and yuno will work together in a final fight yuno will use his star magic to make a star large enough and Asta will collapse it with his antimagic to create the ultimate team work black hole. Giving you a nice team work ending victory for both of them against their former idol.
I like the Black Hole Magic theory a lot, I wonder if it could go in that direction, or maybe it could even be called Nihility Magic or something like that since it would most likely negate the strongest magic types without much effort. Personally, I like the name Nihility Magic, but Black Hole Magic makes more sense considering the connections with stars and the 3 magic types mentioned in the video. Can't wait to see where Asta will go now, great video once again!

These theories get crazier and crazier by the day lol. I get it though, content creators need something to create lol The whole essence of astas character is he has NO MAGIC. Him “unlocking some hidden new OP magic” would turn this show into some generic “weakling unlocks secret op power and becomes the strongest” generic anime and I personally don’t see the creator going down that route. Like cmon now the whole show is based off the fact that ONLY he can wield anti magic BECAUSE he possesses NO MAGIC. Hear me out I might be crazy… but what if he just utilizes anti magic… in a new way… instead of some stupidly op magic? What if anti magic zetten, works like advanced armament haki, and by inserting his anti magic directly into the person (like he did when disintegrating the bamboo) he can cancel Lucius’s paladins forms ? Seems more where they’re going with this not some insane “OP NEW MAGIC ASTA” let’s relax.
And remember the elves were able to cast a protective light over certain people and Asta may be able to do that with his anti magic considering this is very Naruto story like.
Bro the "black clover is just like a Naruto" jokes aren't funny nor are they accurate when actually think about it for more than a second Yami is nothing like itachi, circumstances are completely different since we've spent 300+ chapters with him before learning this information. He'd never do something like that and couldn't without someone or something interfering cuz no 13 year old in bc is killing a clan of trained warriors. He didn't even have a grimoire/scroll yet Ichika is only vaguely like Sasuke. Similar personality but different goals. She's not out for revenge from what we know and she's not a traitor like Sasuke. Beyond all that tho, Naruto wasn't the first work to have a character kill their entire family. Naruto is popular but it's not the source of inspiration for everything
Not gonna lie, I'd be a little upset if Asta suddenly started using Black Hole magic. I understand the connections, but it's a reach to me. Just doesn't really make sense. Feel like Yami or gravity magic guy would make a ton more sense to somehow develop their magic into Black Hole magic, seeing as to how both are strongly tied to it. Anti magic has no connections to it and Asta having a sword that belongs to someone else shouldn't make a difference. The sword contains no magic, the grimoire does.

Liebe has anti-magic and gives it to Asta. Anyone saying that Asta has magic has not paid attention about the chapter of the Witch Queen telling people that Asta can not use magic at all due to his mutation, not allowing his body to absorb or retain magic.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Lucious does not know that Asta is still alive. He thinks that he is dead. You forget that Lucious can not see Asta, since Asta has anti-magic blocking Lucious from seeing him. They just know that Yami's home country has very powerful people, that can cause Lucious problems. It is one reason why he sent his Paladins there. He wants to eliminate a threat to his power. For the last time, Asta does not have any magic or anti-magic. The Witch Queen Chapter, where the Witch Queen has stated that Asta's body can not retain magic. Asta can not use magic, because of his mutation. It was also stated by the Wizard King that no one with magic can use the anti-magic swords. The anti-magic swords absorb magic. The Wizard King found that out when he handled Asta's anti-magic weapon, which was absorbing his magic. He even stated that Asta is the only one that can use those swords, because he has no magic. Liebe uses and has anti-magic and gives it to Asta for use. What Asta has is Ki, which everyone within the world can use. You just have to learn how to use it.
When I talk about Asta using anti-magic, I am taking it for granted that he is using it together with Liebe. I am not saying he's doing it on his own without Liebe, but I say "Asta" because it's quicker and easier than saying "Asta and Liebe" every time.

He is already getting an upgrade attack with ki and his anti-magic attack. Incorporating his ki and anti-magic would be the only way he could defeat Lucious. Also, expanding his area of effect of his anti-magic would be the best solution. Asta has really limited himself when using anti-magic. We saw Liebe use all the swords by making them float, but not Asta. We only saw Asta ride a sword.

Most of the time, I would have to agree. For the part about he knew about Liebe in the first chapter, I don't know. He could have had a thought about it.
Ayo..someone missing chaos magic in this whole story ? I mean the mana zone could be amazing..in fact to be able to take away the ability to control your magic in the first place as an enemy..too strong or to weak..attaching your comrades instead of your enemy's
"Most black holes form from the remnants of a large star that dies in a supernova explosion..." Asta means something related as a star, he is gaining more muscular mass, overloading himself with new attributes. Maybe he has to sacrifice himself to destroy all devils and then life will start anew.
Ya I don’t think that black hole magic is going to happen but if it does it would go you yuno and not asta. An there’s a few simple reason for that 1. One black holes are made when stars collapse and yuno is the only one with star magic. 2. He has to keep up with asta as rival character. so he needs a power up too and it would make more sense to go to him as a new way to use his star magic. But I’m guessing the most likely power up for yuno is he’s going to combine his to magic types to make something new. Like shooting star magic or cosmic wind magic. As for asta I’m guessing he’s going to get a anti-magic zone ability as well as some new offensive one to go along with it.
It won't happen because Asta can not retain a drop of mana. His mutation keeps him from retaining magic, stated by the Witch Queen. The Wizard King even stated that Asta is the only one that can wield his anti-magic weapons, because they drain the person of their mana, and Asta does not have a single drop. If anything, Asta will use Liebe's anti-magic and ki to develope something that can do the job. Could create an anti-magic zone and anti-magic ki slash.
Imagine the plot twist is current shogan is actually evil forced yami into a position to kill his family to take over the country. Even more so this would also give us a whole new ark after the angelic wizard king ark, as by the end of it he begins his own invations of the wizard kingdom
His power is probably divide among them tether than him actually giving them there own power, just a taught but it's definitely weird that he is stationary all this time.

What if Asta and Liebe are the same character which was originally the devil king but in the underworld they ganged up on him and he got split and memories got lost or stolen and when Asta completes the ki training unlocks something within the devil union mode
