Just gotta say- we already know that Asta has a TON of star symbolism associated with him- a black hole forms once a star has died- people may call it plot armor and extremely controversial- but it has DEFINITELY been foreshadowed that if Asta were to die (which is possible) the world be a very different place. As I was hearing about the potential directions Tabata could take the story, I felt a little uncomfortable with the fact that none of the things Asta has are really his own- and up to this point it HAS to be intentional. The swords he uses aren’t originally his, the devil that could’ve been his- he refused- and he doesn’t even have his own grimoire- which is wildd- we don’t even know his origin- at this point bro should just visit the Diamond kingdom and see if a grimoire will fly to him. Asta’s definitely got a power up incoming it’s just a matter of what Tabata chooses to do. Let him cook.
Yuno's grimoir originally was Lumiere's . Some books get passed down to the next generation though I think it was just to make Asta and Yuno look unique from each other. The grimoir chose Asta and he made the equality contract with Liebe. Without Asta's Anti-Magic was always a energy that needed to be refined and evolved
No, it's not. It's a different grimoire. There is more than one four leaf grimoire. We see Lumiere's grimoire turned to stone with him and when he gets reincarnated he still has it in his possession and uses it in the fight with the word soul devil, while Yuno is still using his own. It's also a completely different magic type. Like when Licht got reincarnated, he didn't use a grimoire at all he just swung his swords around. You didn't see him use a grimoire at any point because his grimoire isn't his anymore. It's Asta's. Not to mention Lumiere's grimoire is golden, and Yuno's is green.

I think Asta having sword magic is a great theory, especially when you consider that when Rhya used his copy magic on Asta, he could only pull a sword out, not the anti magic. Also, people use that as a reason why other mages can't use anti magic, but in this scenario he copies Asta's magic, which is the sword, not Liebe's anti magic. I believe if Rhya were to touch Dante or Zenon's grimoire he would get body or bone magic, not gravity or spatial, which strengthens this point IMO.
@@Drakuma35 that doesn't at all mean that they can't now be Asta's. In fact, licht says "they don't belong to me anymore" when Asta tries to give it back to him, which implies that they now belong to somebody else. That somebody else is clearly Asta.
An issue i see with this theory. Nacht mentioned you need something linking the devil to the physical world. For Asta his grimoire and devil arm were symbols of that. Also, Liebe is already contracted so its doubtful the contract can be broken. Unless the user of the contract dies. All in all its a good theory
@@darkjester374 lucius isnt the final big bad imo. I think its Riyu or possibly someone not fully revealed. I definitely sense a twist coming that was hinted at all along. Could be the wizard from Hage village. But its unlikely it will be Lucius. What if its a archangel or a God that helped lucius get astaroth magic in order to use him as a pawn to exterminate devils and the mortal races.. we thought eye midnight sun was the bad but it was licht.. but licht was patry.. we thought it was patry but it was zagris.. we thought it was zagris but it was megicula.. we thought it was over but can see the connection that arc never ended it just keeps evolving proving theirs a puppet master who is using everyone without having to reveal their existence. Astaroth could be the real bad. Riyu could be asraroth and he could've lied about why he cant use magic. And going off the pattern we thought it was spade kingdom but it was the triad we thought it was the triad but it was lucius so i suspect history will repeat and reveal lucius to be a puppet. Astaroth is Riyu in my opinion. And its possibly angels are conspiring to exterminate all other races without having to commit the act themselves.
Asta training with Licht sounds an awesome idea! I think he will be able to learn more about the demon destroyer sword and be able to finally go into a persons soul at will and through that training he will learn how to truly defeat/kill Lucius and at the same time save Julius. Those swords did originally believe to him so it would make sense that he would know how to use them the best and we never said him use the demon slayer sword and for all we know that has hidden abilities that even asta and liebe didn’t know about. Also do you think you can make a video to all the biblical references that we are getting in this final arc? Asta needs his very own sword. Calling it now while Noelle is still fighting her mom she will make a trident and she can expand to grow in size similar to asta’s black divider. Also how messed would it be if acier had the purified megicula as her devil? And remember that can actually happen remember beelzbub and the magic paladin sister lily had? Spatial magic! 17:26 honestly if this can happen I believe this will actually be how he meets Licht again and trains with him, remember Norse mythology dwarfs and elves are connected after all. Do you think that Lucius can create more then just paladins?
Licht's handling of the swords always implied a greater usage when fighting Asta and Yuno. The swords sole purpose is to use energy in other ways imagineable

Besides Asta's DS chooses what it wants to cut and Ichikas facial expression insinuates that she held back and he only gets cut due to the sharpness not potency/force of her blade
Very interesting theory, Conrad wanted to use Anti-Magic yet he it would have cancelled out his other magics. Lucius is someone who'd see this as too much of a wildcard. I think Lucius' clones were already more than enough against Yuno. Even if they couldn't use time magic at the moment that didn't stop the enemies from attacking. We've seen in the latest chapters how Yuno was jumped by two clones at once, he was not going to get out of their and still exhausting himself with amping/nerfing the whole capital. I feel like Ryu should have posed more of a threat to Lucius because he also doesn't have magic. He is aware that about Lucius' actions yet Lucius doesn't know about Ryu who is the highest figure in the land of the sun. I find it funny how Asta basically comes in clean and unscaved while Yuno is at the brink of exhaustion. I see Lucius like the Night king of GoT. When he falls all clones, paladins and fodder angels will dissolve.

Like Langris' expectional spacial magic, Leoile's compass magic David's enhancing cubes Mimosa's healing Maybe there's a surprise too or they could restore Yuno's magic so Neverland stands. Asta's Anti-Magic should only be exclusive to the Black Bulls and them alone.

Even though Asta and Yuno had fair share in intense battle they were always members of two different magic knight brigades and wanted to see future comrades as family. They could never share a merit because their competition defines the series narrative. The Black Bulls didn't consider going to the capital because the almighty Yuno of the praised golden dawn is the answer to the current crisis. Yes, Asta is dear to them yet Nacht (their smartest strategists) bet again everything on him. Now Asta has to prove that he was worth all the trouble. Yuno with Asta's Anti-Magic would destroy everything that connects him to the Bulls. He is not obligated to do so as his mere provocation alone gave Yuno fire again. Mimosa has already made a speech at people to look at Yuno's resistance. Yuno truly leading the golden dawn to a success is something he should feel responsible too. He should also have had his own adventure separate from Asta.
I think Conrad didn't fear about his magic getting cancelled he just fear about the mysterious nature of anti magic and he didn't want to risc it and used with his other magic type because he wouldn't even think about steeling the anti magic power if he believes that it would cancel his magic types
I like The Idea, but I doubt it, Black clover just entered the ultra jump, which is monthly, if we are generous and say that this arc has only 5 chapters, that is 5 months, and we say that the Next arc has around 20 chapters, so it would be around 3 years for the series to end, which is a long time in my opinion, if Black clover was to ultra jump it would be in the last chapters From the last arc, that is, this one, of course, unless Black clover returns to the weekly jump when this arc is over, which I very much doubt.
Some sort of desert wandering arc in the underworld for Asta would be really cool, a bit like Ban did in nanatzu no taizai. It could be done in many different ways, either Asta being alone in it, or alone but looking for Liebe who would be somewhere in the underworld, or maybe Asta and Liebe being in a kind of permanent Devil Union, with a similar style as true devil union aka ragged clothes and armor, to survive in the underworld I think Lucius banishing Asta (and Liebe) to the underworld would be a good trial for Asta because he always live for his friends, with his friends, and a big part of his strength and determination comes from them, so putting him alone in a world he knows nothing of would develop his character the only problem to this kind of arc is the power scale, because rn asta and liebe are way stronger than even the supreme devils so ye...
ive been saying for years that astas magic type is sword magic, with liebe being in the grimore making it anti sword magic at the time, but the grimore chose asta right? that means his soul is linked to it like any other, meaning his magic would have to be sword magic, i mean just look how naturally he pulled the sword out of it in the first fight scene. he wasnt able to do anything with sword magic until that point, as the sword are "sealed" in the grimore as he inherited that part of sealing magic from his mother.
Broku you make the best Black Clover theories. Whenever I listen to theory's I always have this feeling that what they say doesn't make sense, like whenever I read 'This is definitely Asta's dad confirmed' theories. But dang whenever you bring up Tabatas influences that feeling goes away and I'm like that makes sense. Only problem I see is the whole timing of everything. Unless Valhalla or the dwarf land is like a hyperbolic time chamber. I don't see why Lucius would waste more time with his plans. His already half destroyed the Clover Capital. Wait to destroy the world would require alot of Mana, I guess he could spend time draining Mana from mana points, probably by the demon skull for the symbolism. Or could he do it another way?
I remember back then sword magic being Asta magic circling around. The devil binding ritual though, that is so on point. It's not something that is talked much about, and not something that "make sense" in the current narrative. Fit for a plot twist, but still connect to the narrative, better even by connecting every loose plot. Though I am much more in to Liebe taking the story, cause he seemed to be just a chibi partner for the mc that have ended his story. It would make the parallel fit to Yuno, cause, like you said, he might be the lost twin. Meaning Liebe, is the one that have Sword Magic. Asta I think have 'void' or 'singularity' magic, the core of a Black Hole, similar to yours, but I feel like there's need to be a distinction to gravity magic's spell. And as I just learn by Kurzgesagt (lol), naked singularity is unstable as it could spew random things that is in the future. This is far stretch, but this could explain the reason why Asta can manipulate his swords and add special things to them however he wants. Though to play save on the narrative, I believe Tabata will settle on Void magic. A magicless mana with magicless type fit for any grimoire to choose, an empty vessel (also so it doesn't sound too powerful). Could explain why Asta is not permanently affected by weg, and similar to his mother's magic which is to put things in and out of object. Like how Asta can store his sword and her mother's absorption thingy.
It’s a perfect theory. Black Hole Magic is like the perfect Union Between his parallels with Yami and Yuno and his mothers! She absorbed life! I had a theory he’d get Ryu’s eye because Anti-Magic wouldn’t be affected but now I prefer this Sword x Black Hole, although I’m not sold on swords.

Can a theory about black hole magic be turned into a episode about what spells this kind of magic can have? I'm suggesting this because I don't associate Yuno's "Conjunction" spell with natural stars, so it seems interesting to show theatrical unusual black hole spells.
The possibility of these being true makes me happy that Tabata transferred over to GIGA. I want him to have as much time as possible to execute this final arc perfectly
I see where you’re going but with it moving mags idk, though if we get 100 pages or so every 3 months we could get one last large arc. It would be cool if when asta gets liebe back he also takes all of Lucius’s devils (fights all of them at once and wins) and becomes the dopest wizard king of all time.
While I agree that Lucius will probably win this round, I think there’s a big difference between Asta lending the power of anti magic to “cloak” other magical attributes and someone stealing anti-magic completely to use it as their own magical attribute. I don’t think there’s anything in the story this far that confirms that’s possible, I actually think it’s the opposite (Conrad, Vetto, Julius who even shares a body with Lucius himself). An innate magical power would be interesting, but I think it directly contradicts statements from characters that have used their own magic to understand Asta’s composition (witch queen when saying a mutation stopped him from developing mana). Interesting to see whether your theory comes true based on what you said though

I'm a bit surprised asta was willing to cut lucius. I mean sure we know this isn't julius but i think in the next chapters the battle will be so intense. Asta true devil union Yuno saint stage lucius using bone,body,blood,time,and lucifero's gravity magic but then yuno makes a opening for asta to deliver the final attack. But in the end he can't do it. Lucius changes to julius and he tells asta that to prove he is the wizard king he must kill him then BOOM!!!!!!!!!! 4th sword demon slasher katana dimension slash equinox + zetten that's how i see the final battle going down for Asta Yuno and Lucius/Julius
Actually someone did mention the demon dweller sword did provide folks power based on how lictch gave them light magic and asta is doing the same. But i want to know more abt dwarves they introduced. They talked abt witches, elves but not abt dwarves?

I like the dwarf theory of Asta deep diving into himself like Ichigo does and Mana being represented by Licht and Anti-Energy being represented by Liebe and like how Ichigo does when losing his Soul Reaper powers he turns to fullbring. Asta learns more about Life-Energy from a dwarf (also Yuno might be there and get another attribute cuz haha funny). Asta turning to Life-Energy (fullbring) after losing his Mana (Licht/quincy) because of his mother, losing Anti-Energy (Soul Reaper/Liebe) from getting purified after the TDU/DU timer is over. Also the other spirits may show up (I hope) Astas father is a dwarf. He is shorter than his mother (Lichita being 158cm and Asta 155cm). Gives more reason to bring in the dwarves and more credability to the black hole magic and sword magic.
Lucius has too much magic power he still hasn't even tapped into yet ! Asta not negating any magic that overwhelms his own so it's still going to be a battle ! It's like 4 supreme devils power rolled all in one !
I want to see ASTA use other demon dweller sword ability similar to licht the "eon" thing that blast zagred , pair it with anti magic he can obliterate Lucius clones, also the demon slasher death thrust...giving him more option and fire power plus his zetten.
The other twin actually survive and has a family and everything… That theory was actually close to the one I had but then the yunos Elfen twin was revealed to had survived and had a Familly and everything…
Sword magic makes the most sense. I still think licht's Grimoire would've chosen asta if liebe wasn't sealed inside it, he just wouldn't be able to use anti magic and if he was born with mana he would be just like licht in contrast to yuno's wind from tetia.
I could get behind a reveal of Asta's intended attribute, but I really want to maintain the (current) fact that he doesn't have any inherent power/ability. If it becomes canon that he has indeed had an active yet hidden magic the entire time, it would severely undermine so many of the narrative themes. Black Clover is largely an "Un-Chosen One" story, foiled by Yuno's emphasized "Chosen One" story. Asta's heritage *needs* to be unremarkable, and he *needs* to be a step behind. Proclaiming "never giving up is my magic" is only powerful because he's telling himself that he's remarkable just for the fact that he exists. He's just saying "fuck it, if I don't have magic then I'll make one up for myself." Literally faking it until he makes it. I could maybe get behind pure coincidence that he was supposed to have sword magic and Liebe comes in and says "I can help with that," but if it's revealed he has been utilizing any other sort of magic the entire time then the whole story falls apart.
Lucia’s has time magic and if he gets it back he could destroy asta by say renwinding time. Maybe even before he lost magic. Then he uses anti magic to ruin the spell and he gets his magical attribute and mana? This could also show how much effort asta put in as I believe he would have way more mana. As anti magic is a lot more finicky and limited compared with mana.
Astas magic attribute is probably similar to his mother probably dimension magic. His mother's magic attribute is spatial magic but it also looks like magican magic attribute. Or something similar to key magic like his wizard king father in the movie. But I wish he get creation magic or manifestation magic or atom magic.
I think it'd be better if Asta was just revealed the be a Devil hybrid. Then only powers he needs would be his absurd strength and ki. You don't need sword magic since swordsmanship and ki go hand in hand. I mean just look at Rurouni Kenshin or all the absurd stuff Zoro can do in One Piece.
Video topic idea or just a theory but it would be dope to get a paladin asta theory video. Lucius loses and dies but before he dies he steals liebe from asta creates a new body himself into an asta clone then bestows purified liebe . Then swap his consciousness with soul magic now the final boss is paladin asta Lucius . Because ain’t no way we gone not see purified devil asta unless it’s evil to fit the narrative. Which leave asta back magicless but possibly still have all his physicals stats but liebe not sealed to the grimoire so asta without liebe should be able to use lichts magic while still being capable of his physicals stats.
Licht is such an important character that it's hard not to Foget him. I mean I am still wondering why are his 3 swords called the Demon Swords. Did Licht help the Time when Devils roam aroundthe Mortal realm and Sealed away with some mysterious power.
now black hole magic has some sense to it and works, call it singularity magic, and asta is the singular breaking point in the world leading into hungry jokers time line.
I always thought Asta would lose his anti magi/ gain his real magic toward the end and would have to start from 0 learning he to use while yuno gets to be wizard king before asta
Tbh, i feel like Lucius will just revive Licita. It would make sense to mess not with Asta, but his brother, Liebe. Therefore creating a Mental block for Devil Union to be used, significantly nerfing Asta. Love the videos btw, keep up the work! ❤

I have a few related and unrelated theories to a few different things that can happen tbh. Ik this video probably goes into the same theories made by the video, but I came to these conclusions using a few different things.
1.) Asta has 2 magic attributes&anti magic. Between a star-adjacent magic (black hole magic) and sword magic. These make sense because of the attractive qualities that anti magic has, as well as the fact that he regularly changes the construction of his sword. Anti magic from what we’ve seen is an overlaying ability, that combines with magic to create an anti-magic magic. This is because it comes from anti energy and not mana. It’s still similar to mana tho. 2.) asta and yuno will have to find the dwarves together I think. They have been to every kind of grand magic region. By what we’ve seen, it’s likely that a grand magic region always has an element that goes along with it. The witches forest would be plant/earth based magic. Sea bed temple is water magic. Volcano is fire magic. The only thing that holds this theory back is that the demon skeleton doesn’t have an element tied to it, but it’s likely that it does, but just hasn’t been stated. I think the dwarves live in the wind grand magic legion (or lightning but idk y or how that one would go with their stories) and live in the sky which would be y they’ve never been seen. Living in the sky on a cloud maybe would give them the ability to travel virtually anywhere as well, which would explain how they made it to the land of the sun. Here, asta will train with the dwarves, or at least learn something there, and yuno will grow stronger with his wind abilities specifically. 3.) asta will probably find an even better form of purification for liebe over Lucious’. I don’t see asta being the wizard king with an ability that many have mistaken for evil forms of magic. Like how damnatio persecuted him for connection to devils, and he was seen as a demon to the civilians against the ancient demon. It’s very well possible that he will learn the true form of purification through a devil bonding ritual. If he gets it taken by Lucious, maybe he can take it back in another one on their next meeting. 4.) Asta and Yuno will be the first ever joint wizard kings. I just don’t see tabata making one of them give up their dream even if it’s for the other. I think that if they don’t become joint wizard kings, then one will die in the final battle. I don’t see yuno becoming king of the spade kingdom either. He’s grown up in the clover kingdom the whole time, and he’s also grown as a peasant his whole life too. Even if he was a royal the whole time, there’s no way he’ll accept it. 5.) Dorothy will be a major player in the final saga still. Her story is highly unlikely to be over after she just became the witch queen. She will likely be the reason that they have a chance at a counter offensive imo. Her ability is so versatile, and after training in the witches forest, she likely will learn a new application that will allow them to get close without being detected. 6.) the spirits will all fight together. The water dragon spirit, fire spirit salamander, and belle the wind spirit, and maybe another spirit from the land of the dwarves. If they meet another wielder of a base element there, they may have some kind of earth spirit. All of these users will either use, or learn saint stage spirit dive, and they will be the main fighting force along with Asta.
There is some real competition betwwen you and ABD in terms of predictions. Mainly cus they also make predictions left and right, and have been insanely close to being correct (like correct next to some small details). Also as a physics major i just gotta say, black holes aren't dead stars but are born as a product of stars either colliding or dying so they aren't dead stars but are born from the process where stars die
I've been saying Asta should lose to Lucius one more time for a while now. Just because it raises the stakes and makes the situation more dire. I felt like Lucius hasn't really established his level of threat or shown is true power to the world yet. I know people don't like to hear it but whats more exciting? Asta just storming the Palace and beating Lucius? or Asta failing, losing his magic, and then having to fight without Anti-Magic while Lucius has enslaved the world and achieved Godhood? The latter is easily the more tense and dramatic scenario.
That's a good point but as far as it is Asta's arriveal with the gang was to install hope. They were about to loose and yet things have been going against Lucius'will already. It's not going to be a complete stomp but more of a overall final fight with different places. He himself has to take action now. About stakes well I don't if Mimosa was aware or just chose to ignore it but William, Jack and Mereolenoa are in a really tough spot right now
Captains are losing to lucius clones and his underlings. If asta takes an L how would he recover to fight again.... it doesn't make sense. The situation is already dire with so many lives lost. How many crimson lion members gave up their life for mereoleona???. Asta won't lose again if he does him coming back and winning is bad writing
Lucius activates the ritual, asta and liebe drop out of union, liebe is bound, asta without antimagic is touched by lucius, he used his soul magic to mend his true magic type and brainwashing him. astas magic destroys lucius and has to face off with yuno and the black bulls with liebe, yuno finally beats asta and returns him to normal, then yuno and asta will have a final fight with yunos wind and star vs astas magic and liebes antimagic to determine the wizard king, asta wins and yuno because the king of spade. the end.
Tbh I wouldn't like the idea of Asta having his own magic power. I think the point of his story is that despite having no magic, he'll be able to defeat Lucius who said that Asta is a "flaw" because of being born magic-less. The thought of a being who is known to be the greatest wizard king who also possesses one of if not the most powerful magic being defeated by someone who had no magic and eventually worked his way up in order to become wizard king is a more powerful message. Like Asta always says: "Not giving up is my magic!"
