I dont understand people who ship minthara and ascendant astarion bcuz I 100% believe the whole "Ascension" Schtick is over the second he tries to pull anything on minthara like she would fold him in a matter of seconds
You need to romance her first before attempting to romance astarion. The trick is to have Astarion bite the drow in moonrise and never rest until you beat thorn because you can’t romance minthara unless you’ve defeated thorn. I know it’s complicated
@@KodaPaul Very much complicated. Especially in act 1 and 2 i agressively long rest a lot, in order to not miss any cutscenes that only happen at night at camp :D
Too bad she accuses you of cheating regardless. Had to put the game down after trying everything, waiting for patches, trying again. I don't know when I'll come back to the game honestly. Its not just the Minthara bug that irks me, rather it was the straw that broke the camel's back.
Same thing happened to me. The whole romance line with her is broken and really unsatisfactory. After getting so far into the game and dealing with all the little things that irked me, her accusing me of cheating on her killed that run for me. So I started a new one using mods. The stuff with her is still broken though sadly.
same. i sent a report bug to larian. they responded that they are aware of minthara’s romance being buggy and are working on fixing it. i feel like theyre gonna do something about it next patch, it just came late off their list so thats why it wasnt in the recent patch patience, my fellow minthara simps. Yup. Act 2 she won't say a word any cutscene and I've explored all of them. Excluded from all Act 2 cutscenes. Putting down the game until this is addressed
@@Jenna-in4brHalsin is the only one Shadowheart and Astarion are saying okay to if you want to be poly. Otherwise, there aren't other poly relationships, sadly.
As someone who struggles with jealousy in polyamory, I can attest that Minthara is wrong, and she is "delicate" for not wanting to share you (as am I).
Buddy, if you’re struggling with it … it’s probably not for you. What you’re basically saying is “every fiber of my being is telling me it’s wrong but I try to convince myself it’s right”.
What? You admit that your feelings tell you you don't want to share and you just brush them away saying that you are wrong AND Minthara is wrong on the subject? Man, this is really screwed. That's totally not how human psyche and sexuality work.
Thing is, Minthara never consented to engaging in polyamory. Besides, having boundaries doesn't make you fragile or insecure, those are just words that gaslighters usually use to manipulate you into an often one-sided or toxic relationship.
