Actually, Cats, can, and will, open doors, for their own benefit, and should be able to "hold" (at least the bigger cats) the lantern in their mouths... i wish they will release a ln WildShape DLC, where you can keep the wildshape, and some merchants will hqve speak with animals, and use animals and an information and dellivery network, and yes, that includes cats.

I still remember watching several 'unintended clever use of game mechanics' being fixed though (preventing spellstealing boneshield in naxxramas so that mages couldn't solo the military quarter for eg) time and time again.

When I was a kid we had this mystery where occasionally whoever was first to get up in the morning would find the front door wide open. After a few weeks we solved it: the door handle was very high up so Dad had tied a rope to the handle so the youngest kids could open it by themselves. Then our cat figured out how to use and let themselves in or out when no humans were around that she could "ask". Larian should patch in pet accessible door handles! 😂

Cool attention to detail with the rapport spores. The myconids scatter them onto people they wish to speak to, what they do is allow telepathic communication since myconids can’t speak verbally, so it makes sense that they can speak with you even as a cat.

Makes me wonder if Larian will include some more Wild Shape friendly options in their next patch. Like non-broken cutscenes and maybe even things like you actually doing your animal sound when giving a speech and everyone who is present cheering. I just imagine a small house cat going "Meow" and Auntie Ethel responding with "You can count on me, petal"

True. I should start using mods for these types of videos for sure. I also like knowing that any of the probles/bugs I encounter can't be related to a mod though.

The Gauntlet of Shar door can actually be unlocked by picking up and storing a small Gilded Chest, then clicking on it

@@ProxyGateTactician I'm not completely sure, I'll try to grab the UUID next time I see it unlock something. But ever since Hotfix 17, clicking on locked doors/chests has sometimes teleported a small Gilded Chest from my Camp Chest to my inventory and unlocked the locked thing I clicked on, as if the Gilded Chest was the rightful key, and that door is one of the ones it works on.

I only had access to 1 giant strength potion in act 1, but tbh that would have been smart. There's the 1 near auntie ethel in the grove. I actually was glad I saved it though because I couldn't carry the explosive barrels to destroy the Dryder without that elixir on me. they would have been too heavy. The smokepowder ones I could carry just fine, but other ones were too heavy

I would absolutely love if they can implement some type of cat ending or fix all that stuff you ran into as a cat to make it possible. That would be amazing and legendary.
