Durge, if you wake up, it's because of a few reasons: They like you somewhat, they don't hate you enough to actually kill you, it's not your turn to be killed.
I imagine he'd take his beauty sleep, then pester everyone after he woke up, just like this. He only needs four hours, so after the long rest's 8 he has 0 patience for any mortal's grogginess lol.
If so, he and Gale are probably sharing some "Beauty Sleep" life-hacks or smth. Imagine them having those spa masks or smth with cucumber cuts on their eyes and they are laying in the hot spring. Maybe Shadowheart would join them, but casting fog or blindness. While Wyll, Karlach and Lae'zel would choose mud-baths. Or it would've been Wyll just watching Karlach and Lae'zel wrestling in the dirt. The OTHER option if we think about Karlachs issue with Hot temperatures would've been a frozen water. Lae'zel would probably join her in that water both eating the ice while poor Wyll was dragged with for company.
@@gwenethp511 Hence OP said meditation. :) And since elves get the same benefits from 4 hours meditation as other races from 8 hours of sleep... I would think it's adequate to describe it as "rest". Resting isn't the same as sleep. When I sit down to read a book I am resting, too, despite being awake for example.
@@gwenethp511as far as I know, elves can sleep, they just choose not to cuz dreams are unpredictable, and they don't wanna be unconscious for 8 hours. But if they wanted to, they could fall asleep. Idk about vampires, I'd imagine it's based on race
@@DM-nw5lu elves still have to rest for 8 hours to take a full long rest. But they only have to be in a trance for 4 of those hours, whereas everyone else has to spend 6 of those hours sleeping.
