Hi, love the review but I’m reading this isn’t compatible with my iPhone? Is this true or does it simply need a lightning to usb c adaptor?

It is greatly unfortunate, that such an advanced and reputable company as A&K does not know its own product characteristics. They told me the same thing you did. I purchased AK HC2 just to find out that 1. my iPhone 13 PRO indicates that “this device is not compatible with your iPhone", 2. it does work sometimes but shuts off erratically 3. skips tracks It is not a big deal - I will return the product, but it is not really disappointment - rather astonishment, that A&K does not know what it sells! Amazing ignorance! I believe it draws too much power. Perhaps it works with iPhone 13 PRO MAX, but that is A&K job to navigate through this. Good word travels far. The bad one goes further.

iPhone connection is not discussed! There is a lot of great noise online on the subjects, practically impossible to clearly understand if this device does or does not work with iPhone

The newer AK HC2 will do it and even includes the Lightning adapter.
