Aston Park Fisheries Butts Lake Match Fishing May 2020 

For my 1st match since the ban on match fishing was lifted post lockdown, I head back to Aston Park Fisheries to fish a socially distanced match with the Yorkshire Bandit Angling Club.
This should have been our 3rd match of the 2020/21 season that was scheduled to be fished on Normans Lake at Pool Bridge Farm, Crockey Hill York, however due to the owners not allowing keepnets at this time, (maybe didn't realise the guidance had changed earlier in the week), the venue was changed at short notice and we got booked onto Butts Lake at Aston Park Fisheries.
The preceding days temperatures had been in the mid 20's and it was forecast for more of the same. How would we fare? Watch on to find out...
