I'm an Arsenal fan and I was absolutely gutted the day we sacked Unai Emery as I was a big fan of him even before he joined our club. I must admit I hated the fact that he was returning to the premier league and join Villa because I knew he would make them a dangerous team. People will laugh at his English but little do they even realise what a genius tactician he is especially when he has the right players that Arsenal did not provide. I do hope he wins the conference league with Villa because he is the one manager that should be put alongside the likes of elite European managers such as Ancelotti, Zidane, Guardiola, Mourinho and Sir Alex Ferguson for his Europa League accomplishments which isn't easy to replicate by any manager!

Unai has been great so far! Yeah we are losing a few here and there but home form in the Prem been much better. Tactically we needed him. Right formation and he is good at adapting..quality manager.

I think Emery wants to prove to everyone in Premier League,that he is a very good coach and he will do his best to get Aston Villa to top 4....for sure....To do that,he will have to compromise other competitions.After match against Legia Warsaw he realized that Conference overall is not easy and very long competition and his priorities will be savinghis best players (no injuries) to get to CL next season with Aston Villa...that's what I feel🤔⚽🏆

Neutral here. Don't know why Ollie Watkins isn't the automatic England No.2 striker behind Harry Kane. Callum Wilson will be 32 in next year's Euros, and Ivan Toney (even if back to match fitness) has little experience of playing against teams that park the bus in front of goal, and might not be suited to it.
