[Astonishing!] Greatest Train Horn Battle & Meet!!! +VRE Passenger Cars: Ashland VA Train Day 2016

Has to be one of the greatest horn duals I have ever seen.
Two Monster CSX Manifests closed in on Ashland VA during its Annual train day, and what a treat the pair brung. First was the headlights of the oncoming NB Q416, 12,000 feet long and a nice surprise on the rear. Then it was the headlights of the SB Q409 on track 3. Meeting nose to nose at College street gave entertainment to the large crowd farther downtown, as well as the excitement of incredible dueling horns. Certainly One to remember for a long time
At 1:45, I included a video taken with my phone of both on the monsters closing in.

Oh yeah! Caught them meet at the right spot! I loved it. I've seen many of those running meets before and they sure are amazing like this one!

WOW that was a SPECTACULAR catch Carter!!! I'd probably freak out if that happened to me! That was also a perfect spot for you to railfan since you got a shot of both trains in the same shot! That is certainly a catch of the ages! Monstrous K5HL action and on top of that Q409 having those VRE cars at the end! I have to share this video! :P

+Captain Justice thanks I appreciate it. This was one of the most intense videos I think I have ever took, I didn't know which way to point the camera! Also you Probobly didn't here but at the end I said "holy shit", that pretty much describes which happened from my POV. Thanks for watching

This is really cool! A meet with 2 trains, a big lashup, some horn battles, and some rare VRE coaches?! That's so cool! I would have been surprised too if I saw that!

How about a bell battle? Horns hurt my ears but I like bells. I like to watch trains go by. I didn't know there were trainspotting videos, though. I especially like the parts where they pass through wooded areas because I love trees. I used to take pictures of trees through the train windows. Beautiful scenery. Thank "yew".
