i dont think its 4th wall break. 4th wall is when he talk to player or realize its just a game. "Protagonist of your own story" can be said to anyone who are in a great journey
Context here where he is from (Hi3rd) he designed games and loved tv shows he basically an anime and robot nerd so this is forth wall breaking technically but it’s just that he know we are text book definition of anime protagonist
Welt being well aware of who the main character is in all this is always kinda funny. IIRC there's a voiceline where he regrets that having a protagonist on board will prevent him from being the cool hero guy.
Ima be honest when I heard Kafka’s with the Trailblazer I felt 2 things 1. Awkwardness when Kafka was talking 2. A sense of relief and happiness I mostly felt number 1
