Wow! I completely agree! It's so easy to be consumed by the obviousness of the modern-day problems that it really seems to drain "positive" energy which is obviously necessary for entering (consciously) realms of a higher frequency. Not only are current events frustratingly obvious, but one of the most detrimentally energy-draining experiences I'd ever had was when my brother-in-law moved into our home. The level of hatred I had for that man moved me to levels of such energy-draining emotion that my OBEs and lucid dreams completely ceased for nearly two years. This, however, I've come to view as an opportunity to level up in my own consciousness. Recognizing and accepting the truth without being affected by it has become one of my ultimate goals, and I still have yet to achieve it. Great post!

A clear mind, a focused mind, a curious mind - all needed : ( for me the + / - not so much but I do perhaps understand what you mean. Happiness, joy, love ( energy! ) I find all this to be critical. At my height I was going out 4-5 times a week. It was already happening so it was not so much a matter of having to 'try' ..all I had to do was 'show up'. Which I was seriously gung-ho on for four years. straight. In my almost 55 years I have never watched the news. I miss out on nothing, as near everyone else *does*. :)

I agree, It was just a few days ago I was talking with my daughter about, Toms My Big TOE, when she told me what a councilor at the university of Florida said, "No one can force us to be angry, mad, or hate. We choose those things in how we react to any given situation." I agree with Tom, in that we are part of a larger consciousness. I also used to watch every article I could read off the net about the current state of US news as well as world news. I would dare say 99% of all the news is fear based. So if the concensus of the world consciousness is fear, others pick up these vibrations and it turns into movements. I completely un plugged myself from all of this, about 3 weeks ago and have had a new awakening to more awareness, peace of mind, and of course a renewed effort to pursue having OBE'S. My attitude has completely changed. I no longer hate going to work, can deal with family issues much easier, it has been great. This I my choice. I cannot do a thing about all the things that are happening in the world, but I can do something about growing in love and in that, like minded people also benefit from it as has happened at my job. It does rub off on others. Just as you, Mike, have inspired me to do these things and not give up. It is a choice, and our choice affects others because we are part of a larger consciousness and it really does matter how we think and react to each situation we are faced with. Thank you

I think I will join you. mindfulness, checking in on a brief news update once per day, and consuming things that are enlightening. maybe this is part of why the world is so crazy and negative in the first place. we all could use more mindfulness. thanks for the excellent reminder.

+Olivia Langford I think it is. It is addictive. People crave negativity. I don't know why. Maybe it makes people feel better about their own lives or like they have more control when they can compare to the chaos that surrounds them. I will be happy to take a break from it.

Like many people here I try to detach myself from all the dreadful news which are spread every single day. I still keep myself up to date but as soon as feel I’m too emotionally involved, I shut everything down sometimes for a few days. To continue with some Buddhist anecdotes. There are two of them I like a lot. I even think about the first one every day since I heard it. Just as “I’m more than my physical body, because I am more than …” it became a way to gradually change my belief system: 1) A man thinking about his lifetime: “when I was twenty, I tried to change the world and I failed. When I turned forty I decided to change the people close to me and I failed again. Now I’m past sixty, I’m only trying to change myself and the world around me is starting to change.” 2) An old wise man: “I meditate an hour a day except when I have a very busy day. Then I meditate two hours a day.” And as Bob used to say: “Only YOU can change YOU.” See you around!

Hey Mike, I dont comment very often but this time - as you ask for it - I want to do it: As you see the problem AND you know the solution I only speak about my experience here: I have given up watching news about a year ago. It was and is a game changer on my spiritual path. I consider watching news as a daily habbit as an addiction. It has cost me about two to three months to be completely off the hook. Negativity never changes. Only I can change and I focus on this and try to inspire where possible. There is no point in following the drama which is staged anyway. However it has changed me to the better along with other changes which were only possible because I am more zen now. As far as my family life permits it I retreat from the madness of the world and concentrate on important values. That requires discipline, self confidence to withstand other peoples oppinions and also endurance. The pay off is a deeper peace within and equanimity to deal with problems when they show up. I will tune in again when there comes a positive-news-around-the-world-channel. Untill then I try to be the change, giving my best. Cheers my friend

You've described my current situation perfectly minus the kids. I too get up at 5 a.m. and have to stare at THREE computer screens at work all day - listen to podcasts and check the news etc and by the time I get home I'm so exhausted that even the 3 am technique doesn't work as I just want to squeeze in whatever sleep I can get in the remaining few hours. Glad you brought this up!

Phase Evolution what projecting technique do yo use if I may ask? usually when I try ffa I get so strong viberations I start thinking about my dream ad I just end up there and the French teacher is in my dream how horrible is that? also nice video Mike :p

+Jake GamingKing I either follow the process laid out in my direct method videos or I try to separate during the transition to wakefulness. If I miss that transition, I use sleep breathing combined with thinking about my most recent dream immediately upon awakening and wait for the vibrations to come back

Phase Evolution so let me get this straight you wake up stay for 15mins after a natural awaking happens you try to separate by imageni "movement" if that doesn't work you combine​ your sleep breathing pattern with thinking about your dreams right? and 1 think that I can remember very blurry is that when I try ffa u close my eyes but am able to see so in that point I just go to sleep cuz I don't know if I opened them after I close them and go to sleep I just start dreaming and sleeping like a baby iven a nuclear bomb can't wake me up :p

+Jake GamingKing I set my alarm for 3 AM, get up, write down my dreams, splash water on my face, wake myself up a bit, then lie back down on a couch or recliner or some other place. Then I use subsequent natural awakenings to make my attempts. I try to roll out of bed immediately when I feel the process of waking up coming on. It takes some practice to make this a reflex. If I miss that transition, I use the sleep breathing and faking sleep while I think of my most recent dream.

Yep, I've been very blocked the past 2 or 3 months. It's mostly for the same reasons, my mind is just racing every time I go to bed, thinking about what's wrong with the world and all that. For me that meant going from once or twice a month to none at all. But the good news is over the 3 day weekend leading up to memorial day I finally got a handle on it and managed to project two nights in a row. I think you're totally right about the content state of mind thing, that's where I put myself the night before I got going again. For me it was all about letting go, but in a high energy sort of way. Like a sort of transcendence. Without being mindful I go into a sort of cycle of happy -> angry -> exhausted. Some days I avoid the anger, but that doesn't really work. That step is really important, at least the part of it that involves processing my emotions and feeling everything that I need to feel, it's like opening a valve and letting all my energy pouring through. The point is to consciously choose to rise above my anger while I'm still full of energy, rather than just dwelling on it until I'm tired enough to sleep. Going to bed with that high energy contentment worked like a charm.

In his day and age its hard to be tranquil, we are just bombarded with negative news. I had a lucid dream not so long ago after a particularly lets say negative day at work and the dream itself was dark and void of any colour. I agree you have to keep a positive outlook and keep your emotional vibrations up.

I have found when my body is dead tired but My mind is still awake I am able to project easier. Caffeine plays a big role in that. I am mildly insomniac so sleep can be a struggle. When my body finally gives out is when it's easiest for me. I feel my body start to relax and then the vibrations follow shortly after. I also find myself going into this state of focusing on the black/dark nothing that we are in when our eyes are closed. I stare deep into that and try to shut out any thought that comes to mind.....pretty much meditation. This 9/10 times gets me to project. I have really learned over the past couple weeks on how to hone in on that feeling so my success rate has been great. For me when I go to bed earlier or get a lot of sleep the night before I will not project. I know it sounds weird and most people say to get a lot of sleep but for me it's the reverse.

+Jessica I being physically exhausted definitely helps. I have found the same thing. Caffeine is great for keeping your mind awake. I use it as well. I experimented with and without it just to see how it effects me and I definitely have more success with it.

I almost had a lucid dream this morning. For some reason I couldn't gain full awareness. What I remember is discovering my teeth being so messed up I could hardly close my mouth, and was painful. I actually realized this wasn't normal, but was somewhat unconcerned as I suspected it wasn't real. There was a dinner I was at, maybe a thanksgiving dinner. There were some drinks on a table, so I took a rootbeer float and started drinking it. A second later someone came up and said it was theirs, and took it from me. At this point I pretty much flipped out. I picked up my plate of food and threw it at the wall. Everyone was shocked of course. After saying some pretty rude things I stood there for a short time, hoping it was really a dream and I hadn't just ruined everything. And indeed, I woke up right after that! Why is it so hard to gain lucidity? Apparently it has to be pretty extreme before I gain any awareness.

+UnityQuest I have had dreams similar where I do something nuts and then hope it is really a dream. Ha ha ha. If you can gain just enough lucidity to do some reality checks that usually does the trick for me. If I ever have the vague idea that I am dreaming and then I look at my hands or breath through my plugged nose, that is usually enough to make me aware enough in order to take control.

The main problem with me is my current state of mind. My mind is always constantly racing with all types of things that I feel that I need to think about. Which them leads me to do multiple things at once or neglecting tasks that I should focus on. The worst thing for me is when I'm in the process of getting to the void state on my recliner chair, my mind tries to get me to do other things. Rather it be thinking about the things I need to do tomorrow, or trying to get me to move around and do other things, or even trying to get me to fall asleep before my body does. Even if I meditate and try to force every thought out of my mind and focus at the task in hand, my mind finds a way around that and before I know it I end up abandoning the attempt and I wake up the next morning disappointed in myself. I really need to find a way around this if I want to make any further progress.

I have a big inner desire to do regular a.p but family life makes it mere impossible, There's the noise factors, I'd wait till Mrs goes bed at night and try but tiredness takes over and kills it. So I decided to try something different for now and work on lucidity, I used an app that sends awareness notifications every few hours...about 5 weeks later I became aware in a dream like I am now it was awesome. At the time it happened my Mrs was in ICU with heart failure and I found myself observing a hospital ward, next thing I'm in a corridor and I become aware like a flick of a switch. I remember seeing doctors and nurses walking thru the corridor, I went back into the ward where I remember hovering in the air like a pencil moving slowly by using my mind. I slowly glided thru walls it felt like moving thru and empty door space. the last thing I remember was flying thru a window then I woke up, I felt good that day like i made some progress. I've a.p before when I was in my 20s once by fluke so I know in my own mind its real and I want to have these experiences.

Mike have u tried to mix up your techniques lately. if all else fails just repeat the words I welcome the vibrational state know I am out of body for couple of minutes before sleep.much easier than inducing sleep paralize. just wake up in the vibrations .keep up the good work I'm a big fan

About the state of mind, I really think there is more to it, sometimes it is effortless and sometimes I just give up on sleep paralysis, It seems that going to bed when Im really sleepy works best, but when successful I generally Just roll out to soon (fear I guess, since Im stuck in the body and cant move much) and have sight problems etc your videos are great and I agree with 99% of what you say interesting, robert bruce doesnt seem to like sleep paralysis....

i am trying to Astral project from 3 months and i have tried more than 80 times. my sucess was 8-9 out of 80 and that with unconcious state , i dont know why i am not able to Astral project after so many attempts ?

That is actually not a bad success rate in the early days. That is 1 in 10, which many people would be thrilled with. Even after 5+ years, my success rate is still only at 30%-40%. In my interview with William Buhlman, he mentioned that this is actually very high and he has been projecting for more than 40 years. This leads me to believe that either there is some piece of the process that I have not yet learned that will boost my success rate further, or that it is simply not possible to improve my success rate any further due to all the factors that are involved in a successful exit.

+CheddarPlanet I have tried every diet there is and my answer is no, it doesn't effect it. Things that do effect it is how close you eat to bed time. A full stomach makes it hard to have as much control over my state of consciousness, and caffeine I have found is a great tool when feeling too tired and I can't maintain enough control as well. I don't need it as much these days, but for a long time I used it as a bit of a crutch while learning the mind awake body asleep process.

Phase evolution can you help me out please? Last night i felt the sleep paralysis come on and after that the vibrations, they were crazy powerful , from head to toe. Ive had them before but never like that. So i tried to leave the body and nothing was working ( the rope, the roll over and the ladder). I do admit that as soon as the vibrations came on i tried to leave, are we suppose to wait till they go away? or am i missing something? What normally ends up is happening is i try leave and i cant i just force my hand to move and eventually it wakes me up

+CraigSome I have the best success if I wait until the vibrations smooth out and turn more into a gentle and comfortable hum. I can separate right when they begin sometimes, but that leads to dark experiences with a lack of control. If you just can't get the separation process to work, try using the target technique to just appear somewhere else. That way you avoid separation completely and don't have to worry about things like straining physical muscles. You will feel sort of an internal movement and rushing into head like you are moving up or down very fast then you pass through what feels like a wall of vibrations as you phase into the other location. It feels a lot like the buzzing in your head as you are regaining consciousness after passing out of you are familiar with that sensation.

YES!! PLEASE DO TWO VIDEOS! 1. Do an unboxing once you get it. 2. Do a full review after a week or so. Since we both like science and numbers, here is you metric. We wanna know the number of lucid dreams per week without the iwinks and then after 1 week what the number of lucid dreams is per week. This way we can measure the results. A before and after shot of your dreaming capabilities! Also, side note, you can actually do a little daily vlog after each night of use. Once you go through this, I'm buying one too! ahah your like social validation. So thank you so much!!! :D Much love man! Can't freaking wait to see what happens!

If you can go from one lucid dream per week or month to once lucid dream per DAY/NIGHT, it will be worth the money! BTW do you mind if I ask how many lucid dreams you have per week or per month now?

I understand you have experience with feeling heavy at times when OOB. I finally have experienced this. I got OOB by imagining doing both rolls and flips on the spot. I then got OOB and felt quite heavy. It took me a while to get to my bedroom door. I was unable to travel through the door. I tried to open the door but it was too heavy, was like it was attached to the doorway with a large elastic band. I moved to a new house just under a month ago. I was OOB in my old house but was physically in my new house. This can't be a coincidence. The heavy feeling must be connected to this confusion. My theory is, that one part of me thinks I am in the new house, and one part in the old, and this cognitive dissonance caused my environment to manifest less than effortlessly, creating a heavy feeling when I move or try to change the environment. So when you felt heavy feelings, did you get OOB at a different location than your physical body? (Includes a different room in the house.)

+Brian Slartsani interesting. For me in all cases, I roll out right next to my body and it takes everything I can do just to get to the door. If I can make it through the door I can usually improve the experience, but sometimes I can't make it that far and I will stumble around, fall, crash through things and the experience will end.

Perhaps then, it is an unconscious will to stay near the body. Maybe I was simply uncomfortable with leaving my body because my body was in a relatively unfamiliar physical place. Would explain the door problem a bit better than the last theory.

During the election I got so focused on beating my head against the political wall, I almost went crazy when it ended. Then days later I decided I had no choice but to treat the political frenzy as a deadly addiction and drop it cold turkey. Which for me meant spending less than five minutes a day on Facebook. Imagine confusing political action for posting memes on FB. Well it is truly an addiction because the media thrives on making us afraid and the more afraid they can make us, the more we feel we need to be informed. And the more informed we are, the less we can see the forest for the trees. Here's the forest: Lao Tzu said, "Politics never changes. The wise man sits back and laughs." I know you know this and you said it yourself, but let's talk numbers. During the election I had a 4-1/2 month dry spell, and when I stopped looking at fb and stopped even looking at the headlines, I started having more lucid dreams than I thought was possible, it was absolutely amazing. You absolutely know this and I have faith in your process, there is more to life than getting to the finish line. Meandering is part of the process. It goes back to when I was a child sitting in church bored out of my mind, they're talking crap up there, but me, I'm thinking, "What is infinity, really?" Now I don't want to go on too long, but I'll just say that in the eye of eternity, these current events that we take so seriously are seriously just a laughing matter. The Moment is infinitely small, gotta get it while it's there.

+Uncle Buddy thanks for the comment. You are absolutely right. I love that quote by the way. The wise man sits back and laughs. Everything will play out how it will play out regardless of how engaged and crazy I make myself over it, so it is best to just block it out and enjoy life a bit more.

Is there a solid proof that for the purpose of successful OBE practice alcohol (ie strong spirits, not beer/wine) has to be eliminated from ones consumption in order to 'sustain energy level'? I read such theory couple of times in various forums, but have no idea how valid it is. Refraining from alco not just the day prior to practice but totally. I personally hope that this theory is not a dogma since i have a long time habit of going to bars fri-sat and hanging out intensely. Plus i work in the spirits industry marketing. So it has an affect on my drinking pattern))

Curiosity Boundless just my thoughts on this....I have read and heard the same thing...I do not believe you have to stop drinking or eating certain foods to have an obe! UNLESS you believe that you should, then of course what you think is what you will get!! if you read many of the books Mike discussed in his top 10 fav. books on the subject, which i have read many of those too, they dont focus on food and alco and they projected more than many of us on this forum. test it for yourself...go without drinking for a weekend or two and see if that makes a difference or eat extremely healthy for a period and test that....I notice for myself if I eat a heavy meal b4 attempting an obe Im just to full to concentrate and the more I relax the more my food digest and its all bad...lol. if I drink 🍹 Im way to relax and fall into a deep sleep very quickly and thats a wrap. But thats just me...I notice the people who say that are usually on a certain spiritual walk or enlightenment type journey and yes obe can play a huge part in that but that doesnt mean thats for everyone. just my thoughts 💭

Dwon Bush i am still puzzled)) ironically my first full fledged obe happened March 31 after i had been refraining from spirits for 2 weeks, but then again what if it was a pure coincidence... Since then i havent had a successful obe, but i tend to explain it with a host of factors much more evident then booze. Interestingly Apr 4th i attended an obe training by a local Raduga trainer in Moscow and the trainer told me that no, there is no basis to claim that total booze celibate is a must prerequisite to obe. It sounded reassuring to me yet some doubt still resides in me and I seek more opinion from practitioners )))

+Curiosity Boundless belief is akin to intent. If some part of you believes drinking will make it harder, it will most likely make it harder. Just like if you honestly believe that sleeping with your head pointing north will make you more successful, it will. Our beliefs are powerful things.

Phase Evolution Cool! Thank u))) So your experience is showing that a 100 per cent alco exclusion is not a mandatory! What a relief )) since i feel caught between an ages long habit for some [moderate] booze and my half a year long but passionate resolution towards obe exploration. P.S.: And once again thank u Mike for running this channel and forum! It seems like the more people on planet Earth develop such interests the better off our society is.

Hey I just had another experience with black holes. This time I was much more awake. I was having a crazy dream then some guy had a device that created small black holes and he started firing it at me. I moved like agent smith in the matrix to dodge them. Then I lifted off the ground to dodge one and I realized this wasn't just a dream it was an out of body experience. Then I got out of there. I told the people around me look this is an out of body experience. I even levitated off the ground to prove it. They didn't seem to want to hear it. Then the guy shows up again and starts creating more black holes. I would have gotten out of there but there was a bunch of people around me so I tried to help them first. I moved at super speed and grabbed some of them up before the black holes could hit them. It was like when Clark moves at super speed in Smallville. I'm moving fast but everything else is moving so slow it's almost frozen. I managed to save a lot of people from the black holes but not everyone. Some people already had black holes touching them before I got to the them. Then the guy shows up behind me and creates a black hole right next to me. I don't have time to get out of the way before I get pulled in. Then I find myself back out. It looks like I teleported out. Then he fires more of them at me and I get pulled into a couple more. But then I find myself back out again. Then after a few minutes I woke up. So this experience wasn't as scary as the last one. Now that I know for sure black holes can't hurt me I was much less afraid. And I got a chance to practice some of my super powers. I've moved at super speed a lot but I've never seen time almost freeze like that. That was really interesting. I think the reason I'm having experiences with black holes is because it's my subconscious trying to help me get over my fear. And after getting pulled into more then half a dozen of them during two different experiences I would say that fear is almost gone. I've heard William Buhlman talk about how your deepest fears will often manifest in the astral so you can confront them. That's probably what this is. Now that I have confronted this one though I don't want to see any more black holes for a while.

hey i realy did it but i couldn't leave my body the vibrations got so much string and sudenly i was feelin realy weird but then i try to get out i was thinking about watching my body but i couldn't get out i accidently swallowed and i was paralaysed after 5-10 seconds i wake up and i wasn't trying to astral project i was just sleeping and i had a dream my there was a guy said this must be a dream and i did a reality check after that somehow i get vibrations can u tell me how can i get out my body?

Hey man I just had an interesting experience. I had a vivid lucid dream that someone made a device that creates small black holes. And they kept trying to use it on me. I used all the tricks I could think of to avoid them. Flying, super speed, etc. I even used my mind to turn a few of them into something else. But they were persistent They waited until I got tired. And eventually I got pulled into one. It was not a pleasant experience but it wasn't lethal either. Then they made more and I got pulled into them. It was really bizarre. But at least I've faced that fear and am mostly over it. I think that was the whole point. Usually you don't have to worry about black holes because they're in space. But when I go out of body I like to fly into space. So now I don't have that to worry about them. If a black hole can't hurt you I doubt anything else can. I think this whole scenario was probably created by my subconscious to get me to face that fear. With regards to the afterlife it's the only fear I had left. Now no one can use it against me or to try to manipulate me. So I guess it was worth it. Thanks for listening.

Dude I just had another interesting experience. I woke up and found myself floating in space right next to a big blue planet. Next thing I know I'm being beamed onto a ship like in star trek. That was not a pleasant experience. It was almost as bad as the black hole. I woke up just as I arrived on the ship. That has to be one of the most bizarre experiences I've had so far. I never liked star trek the original series but I can see why Dr. McCoy was terrified of the transporters. One little thing goes wrong and you end up in a million pieces. Doesn't seem like a safe way to travel if you ask me. Over there it probably wouldn't be that bad though. If you can survive a black hole you can survive anything. You would probably just have to create a new humanoid body because your old one was disintegrated. So yeah this experience was really bizarre.

Can you, or anyone help me with my hurdle of falling asleep. it doesn't matter if it's the middle of the day, 2,3,4,5 or anytime in the morning after waking up I lay still or get up for a couple of minutes and try again. I have had 2 short ones & know what they feel like. but I've been trying off & on for 3 years. I drive big rig and don't have the luxury of a perfectly quietly bed time meditation. anyways, not sure what to try differently besides the 20min timers, binary beats, the phase ideas. I guess there are people out there like me, who aren't meant to do this??

+Scott Wehrman sure, a few ideas. First, experiment with different levels​ of caffeine. I found this to be a great training tool. Next, try with your arm propped up at the elbow and if you drift off, your arm will fall and you will wake up. repeat this over and over to get the hang of hovering on the border of awake and asleep. You could also try either a ramp timer or setting your alarm to go off every 10 or 15 minutes in case you lose consciousness. Finally, always practice somewhere other than your bed, in a non-natural sleeping position, where you are not too comfortable. It takes some practice, but these are the things that got me there.

Phase Evolution appreciate the fast response. if I try laying on my back, how do I keep the spit from building up and distracting me from relaxing? I've tried the tongue suction thing, but violently sit up coughing, choking on the spit that spilled over my tongue & down the wrong pipe. but my big question is, the 2 times I was able to get out, things were very hazy and not the super sharp beautifully colored auroras like I've been told it is. I've heard to get away from your body quickly & not look back ???? and another thing is how do I focus on this 3rd eye in my forehead? I like the idea of trying to picture your room around you in detail. I think I've looked at too many people's ideas and tried a lot of bad ones. I love your site, do to your common sense videos and how you get into details instead of all these other guys/gals who give a 2-5min video of how to project.

+Scott Wehrman I have the same spit problem. I prop my head up on a pillow unnaturally high so any spit will pool at the bottom of my mouth. That dark low energy scenario does tend to happen either one, when I separate mid heavy vibrations instead of waiting a bit longer until they smooth out and I can see through my eyelids, or two, like you said, if I am in to close of proximity to my body. I don't know the reason behind this, but it is fairly consistently the case.

Phase Evolution sorry, I read this when you sent it. I have been very busy on these loads cross country. I tried sending you an email (but couldn't get your email link when I clicked on it) so I could send a photo of my bed surroundings -and how hard it is to just change sleeping pattern. when you wake up in the middle of the night, do you lay still, or do you get up? I've had 2 very short ones, but i didn't have any vibrations , just sat up one time & the other time my legs came out first, then the rest. how I knew it was astro, is because I thought about what my next move was and one time I floated thru my truck's windshield & dash and shot straight up into the night sky - got really scared about being to high in the dark, then suddenly I'm laying back into the body & my stomach area had a orangish glow to it for a second as I was laying back in to my body. I'm going to try your timer tonight, the raised neck for the spit and see if I can stay awake for more then 20mins. by the way, how long does it take you laying there before you start getting results?

+Scott Wehrman when I use the Wake back to bed method, I get up, go to the bathroom, turn on the light, write down my dreams, and then make an attempt. I am usually up for around 25 or 30 minutes. After that if I am going to use the indirect method, I will just lie down some place other than my bed and make an attempt upon each subsequent awakening. If I am trying the direct method, attempting to put my body to sleep and reach sleep paralysis, it will typically take between 15 and 45 minutes. If a half hour goes by and I haven't made progress to at least the point where my senses have started to shut down I will usually call it quits and try another night. I never try longer than 45 minutes. Maybe I could increase my success rate if I stuck with it for hours on end, but I still have to be able to function in waking life the next day. :) Hope that helps. Let me know how things go.

The exact same thing is happening to me :/ This weekend i had an unfortunate experience with a SJW fat female. She went berserk over race and everything, i am still trying to clear my mind and cleanse my energy. It was a huge negative hit but hopefully ill get back on my feet once again. And ive never watched the news or anything and this f***king things just follows us. Excuse my language but i had to vent cause i seriously dont understand why it happens, when you think you're on the clear for a few months then.....Bam! it strikes. I will try my best to get as spiritually and mentally strong as i can so this stupid things wont intervene with my spiritual development. I really wish you good luck and lets try our best to get more powerful so this things wont affect us.

+Sir .Driken it is unavoidable for sure. I will say that my purge of media over the past few days has been amazing though. Just not having it blaring in my ears all day long has left me feeling far more at peace and able to shut my mind down more easily at the end of the day. I have enjoyed it so much in fact that I haven't even bothered with my originally planned 15 minutes of news a day. If something big happens, I am sure it will reach me and if it doesn't, it wasn't something that was important to me anyway. Hang in there.

+Story Story I would like to yes. I need to see if there is a motion sensor app for my computer or phone. I don't have enough memory to film all night or even for two hours for that matter, so I need it to be able to turn on when something runs in front of it. I will search the Android store. I was at a couple times a week for quite a while. I haven't projected in 6 months though. I completely lost my ability to relax and calm my mind when I started going through my divorce. Now my attention is always in the physical on my two kids and I am back to square one. I hope I can get back there again some day. I do miss it.

Phase Evolution Wow, sorry to hear about that. Stress & anxiety can be a bitch. I have anxiety pretty regularly so I started taking CBD oil from reputable sites, in the purest form I can find. I'm sure you already tried this, but I'll suggest it in case you've not... the indirect method, as far as waking from sleep & not moving a muscle, then focusing using Buhlman's target technique. This way you won't have to worry about struggling to calm yourself and lose concentration from stressful thoughts. Put yourself to sleep and don't think about it until you stir from sleep after a few hours. Starting this way is the easiest, most basic form of inducing an OBE without the dedicated focus needed for self induced OBEs. Good luck, friend.
