I usually leave a radio out with the scope playing a local station, gives a sense that someone must be nearby. I also have surveillance camera's right by the scope.

on windy nights my brother uses tent stakes and paracord out about 20 feet, almost like a second wider tripod. if not for the protection of your gear it also keeps the scope very stable during gusts, saving many of the exposures from the trash bin.

That’s fucked up. Just so you know Londoners do not care about their teeth I watched so many documentaries and I’ve seen so many professors with all coffee stand crooked jacked up teeth they really don’t care about looks out there especially in the older community I know a lot of women in London I don’t wear make up or anything either it’s just the way it is you can’t judge people by how they look out there

ive seen my camera with an expensive lens on the tripod fall over after i had put it on uneven ground while trying to film something. i could only watch as it toppled over and dove lens first into the ground. it felt like slow motion. the lens was fine though, a minor crack in the exterior material but didnt affect image quality
