I am just gobsmacked. I thought I was clever because I managed to build a very rough cave over my base, but this is something else. I can see that I am going to have to do a lot of work. Thanks for the tour. If you start over on a new planet can you give us a step by step guide. That would be awesome.

How did you get your power collection units up onto the top of the planet surface building? I don't see any connection lines between the top and the inside.
You can't really see it, but if you pause at 2:18 you'll see the pad in the left corner of the room has a connection going into the wall. You'll notice there's a walled-off section of the room, just to the left of the Habitat. That's where the connections go upward to the roof.
Graxster OK, Thanks. I take it that the are a number of hidden L1 Platforms stepping up to the roof. I had a great time this evening building a square structure around my first base. It took ages and I'm sure there is a more efficient way to do it than the way I went about it but I got there in the end, thanks to your help. It didn't help that I didn't have a flat area to start with because of my hotch potch base lay out, but I would really like to see how you go about making your structures from start to finish.
